Donna Sue Bryant, 47, of Highlands passed away Feb. 16, 2005 in Sulphur, La. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Sterling White Funeral Home Chapel in Highlands with Reverends Carroll Lansford and Karl Tewold officiating. Interment will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 20 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Sterling White Chapel.
Donna was born June 19, 1957 in Houston to James Curtis and Shirley Pennington. She enjoyed reading, cooking, genealogy and pictures of her family. Her greatest joy came from her family, all of whom she loved very much. Donna was a field office manager for a commercial construction company.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Gordon Bryant of Highlands, three sons Pfc. Jerrad Bryant of Mannheim, Germany; Jason Davis and wife Kelly of Ashland, KY; and Joel Robinson and wife Natasha of Baytown.
Grandchildren J.B. Davis, Tanner Davis and Jacob Cox, all of Ashland, KY, and Ethan Thomas Robinson of Baytown. Also, sister Becky Touchstone (Rex) of Baytown and brother Jimmy Pennington (Andrea) of Highlands.
Father and mother-in-law James and Jackie Bryant and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to name. She loved you all.

Elizabeth Hayes
Elizabeth Hayes of Baytown went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 17, 2005. She was born on July 26th 1923 in Crosby Texas to Rosie and Joseph Clawson. She attended school in Crosby and moved to Baytown in 1943 to begin working at the Texas State Employment Commission and attending Lee College. She married Armender Hayes in 1954 and continued working until the birth of their first son in 1956. She returned to work as a secretary at Robert E. Lee High School in 1970 where she served for 20 years. She enjoyed working in her yard, traveling, dancing, baking, spending time with her family, and playing with her four grandchildren. One of her favorite joys in life was the family’s annual vacation to Crystal Beach. While there, she loved to walk on the beach, and visit with her friends and family. She joined Cedar Bayou United Methodist Church in 1962 and served as an adult Sunday school teacher there for over 30 years. In retirement she continued her work in the church, at Love INC, and Baytown’s Sheltering Arms.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Emil Clawson, sisters Betty Pitts, Billie Lemmon, Ann Glass, and Esther Dean. She is survived by her husband, Armender Hayes of Baytown, son Brian Hayes, his wife Tammy and grandchildren, Chance and Madison of Baytown, son Richard Hayes, his wife Janice and grandchildren, Bailey and Cooper of Austin, sister Frances Kelly of Pasadena, brother, Joseph Clawson of Baytown, brother Martin Clawson and his wife Thelma of Houston, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, 10:00 am at St. John’s United Methodist Church with Rev. Ernest Phifer officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Navarre Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the staff of Happy Harbor Nursing home where she was a resident the past 16 months and the staff at Green Acres Nursing home where she spent her final days.

Danny Duke Adams
Danny Duke Adams, Jr., 36 of Spring passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2005 in Houston. Funeral services at 2 P.M. on Saturday, February 19 at Sterling White Chapel Funeral Home in Highlands. Rev. Jerry Hovater will officiate.
Danny was born April 22, 1968 in Houston. He was a 1986 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a 1988 graduate of Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Ok. He was the youngest mechanic ever hired by Continental Airlines and continued to work there until his untimely passing. He was a beloved husband uncle and friend. In 1994 Danny received a kidney from his sister Gloria and continued to live a full life. Danny loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed to travel and was a black belt in Kuk Sool Won martial arts. Danny was a member of Lakewood Church in Houston. He was preceded in death by his sister, Francis Ritter.
Survivors include his wife, LaRae Adkins of Spring, sister Gloria O’Bannon and her husband Billy of Baytown, brother Jack Ritter and his fiance Jessica of Baytown, his mother Paula Ritter of Pearland, niece Courtney O’Bannon and nephew Bryan O’Bannon, both of Baytown and a host of other relatives and close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Memorial Hermann Kidney Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Sterling White Chapel, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road, Highlands.
Wilton Ray Jones
Wilton Ray Jones, 89, resident of Baytown since 1940, died Wednesday, February 16, 2005, in a Baytown Hospital. He was born December 3, 1915, in Bristol, Texas. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Eugenia Milner Jones, sharing 64 years of marriage. She passed away on January 23, 2005. He is also preceded in death by his parents Sam T. and Willie Jones and by a brother, Randall Jones.
“Uncle Wilton” is survived by nieces Dianne Milner and Jerri Milner Copeland and husband Calvin of Baytown, Yvonne Milner Kitchel and husband Wayne of Friendswood, and nephew Buddy Milner and wife Susan of Baytown, and their families. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Randy and Patsy Jones of Ennis, Gayle and Charles Shepherd of Plano, Nancy Spain of Dallas, and David and Susan Jones of California and their families.
Wilton Jones was a loyal employee of Exxon/Mobile for 40 years. He proudly served his country as a decorated World War II veteran in the United States Army Air Corp. His nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, his co-workers (Exxon annuitants in later life), neighbors, and a host of friends will miss his uniquely exceptional ability to share stories and memories of how he lived his life.
Services are scheduled at Navarre Funeral Home on Saturday, February 19, 2005, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Billy Joe Tate officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens with Military Honor Guard, presentation of The Flag to family, following with ìTaps.î Visitation with family will be at Navarre Funeral Home from 1-2 p.m. prior to the services.
Pallbearers honored to serve are great nephews Larry Kitchel, Jon Kitchel, William Brizzolara, Raif Brizzolara, Joel Copeland, Bryan Banker, Jacob Leblanc, and Steven Klose. Great Nephew William Brizzolara will also sing.

Garry Wayne Nelson
Garry Wayne Nelson, 53, formerly of Old River, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2005 in an Anahuac hospital. Born September 1, 1951 in Hereford, Texas to Stan and Darlene (Woolworth) Nelson, he grew up in Stillwater, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University where he studied restaurant management. At the age of 21, he moved to Baytown where he resided most of his adult life. He was a process operator at DuPont in LaPorte and retired after 28 years of service.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Ollie Woolworth, he is survived by his son Bo Nelson; daughter Brandi Broadway and husband, Brian, and their mother, Becky L. Nelson, all of Mont Belvieu; his mother, Darlene Nelson, brother Rick Nelson, of Grove, OK; grandchildren Breanna Nelson, Gavin Broadway, and Taylor Ballinger; uncle Wes Woolworth and wife, Ruth, of Brentwood, TN; and numerous other family members.
Garry was a member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Area 1 Houston, and enjoyed
bass and tournament fishing. His hobbies also included traveling and cooking, especially country cooking, and he was known for his fried potatoes and pinto beans. He was a loving father and grandfather, and a good friend to many. Always a generous man, he continues to improve the quality of life for countless others by giving the gift of life through tissue donation.
Service of remembrance will be held today at 12:00 noon in the chapel of L.A. Crespo Funeral Directors, 6123 Garth Rd., with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Cort Weston, Donnie Hunt, Bo Nelson, Larry Fulton, Mac Fulton, and Gary Weaver.
