Jose G. Ochoa

Jose G. Ochoa, 70, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2005 in a Baytown Hospital. He was a resident of Baytown for 25 years and worked for Exxon for 25 years.

He loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren.

Jose is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elsa Ochoa of Baytown; eight children and spouses, Juanita Ochoa of Baytown, Sonia Moncada and husband Gabriel of Houston, Dalia Salais and husband Ramon of Houston, Maricela Avila and husband Abraham of Baytown, Mirtha Ochoa of Baytown, Richard Ochoa and wife Juana of Baytown, Araceli Ochoa and Jose Lopez of Baytown and Manuela Ochoa of Baytown; Two brothers, Natividad Garza and Carlos Ochoa; Three sisters, Petra Suarez, Olivia Ramirez and Elisa Ortegon; 12 grandchildren, Miguel A. Galvez, David Galvez and Celeste Galvez of Baytown, Miriam Moncada, Alex Moncada and Yubrael Moncada of Houston, Ramon Salais II, Daisy M. Salais of Houston, Fernando Avila and Zahyra Avila of Baytown, Martin G. Ochoa of Baytown and Alexis N. Lopez of Baytown.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February

22, 2005 and again from 8 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 then the Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eutimio Vela officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery, 3010 Ferry Road in Baytown.

Arrangements are under the direction of Earthman Funeral Directors, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX. 422-8181.

Helen Cannon Barclay

Helen Cannon Barclay, 90, of Dayton, died Sunday, February 20, 2005, at the Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood.

Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 Pm to 9 Pm, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Helen was born February 1, 1915 in Ancon, Panama to parents; Carl and Nina Freeman Cannon, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in the Dayton area for the past 30 years. She was a homemaker, graduate of the Dayton High School class of 1931, attended the Mary Hardin Baylor University, was a charter member of the Stitch and Chatter Club, member of the First Baptist Church of Dayton, and enjoyed history, reading, and was an avid bridge player.

Mrs. Barclay was preceded in death by her parents, husband: G. Harold Barclay, son: Harold Barclay, daughter-in-law: Janelle Barclay, brother: David Cannon, and sister: May Stoesser. She is survived by her daughters: Judy Harris and husband Dan of Montgomery and Kay McHatton and husband Michael of Dallas, grandchildren: Greg Goodrum and wife Lynn, Abby Goodrum, Bret Barclay and wife Laura, Brent Barclay and wife Amy, Julie Spears and husband Wayne, Todd Harris and wife Mary, and Steve Harris, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Services are under the Pace -Stancil Funeral Home, 1304 N. Cleveland (HWY 321) Dayton, Texas 77535.

Maxcine Stevenson

Maxcine Stevenson was born in Goose Creek, TX on May 22, 1941 and went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2005, surrounded by her family and friends.

She attended Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. She owned her own business for many years in Houston.

Maxcine was preceded in death by her father, H.L. Aaron and her husband, Steve Stevenson.

She is survived by her mother, Edna Aaron of Baytown; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Maxey Aaron and Harry and wife Kathy Aaron; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

For those desiring memorials may be made to AMed Hospice or a charity of ones choice.

There will be a Graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery. 14659 I-10 East, Houston, TX with Reverend Everett McDaniel officiating.

Elmo Timothy Moss, 38, of Baytown passed away at a Houston Hospital on Monday, February 21. Funeral services are pending at Frazier Funeral Home. “We Serve to Serve Again”

Barbara Joyce Lippman

Barbara Joyce Lippman, 74, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2005 in a Houston hospital. Services are scheduled for Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Matt Boyles

Matt Boyles, 17, was born in Baytown on February 17, 1988 and passed away Friday, February 18, 2005 in Baytown. He was a student at Robert E. Lee High School.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.

He is survived by his parents, Howard Boyles and Sandra Hart, both of Baytown; bothers, B. J. Hart and Jason Grothe, both of Baytown and Zeke Boyles of New Jersey; grandparents, Lynn and Jean Hart of Highlands, James and Gail Parker of Channelview, and Ruby Calloway of Granbury; aunts and uncles, Tracy Hart of Friendswood, Gay Knowles of Baytown, and William and Mary Boyles of Granbury; and cousins, Shannon Knowles and Kelsey Knowles.

Danny Adams

Danny Duke Adams, Jr., 36 of Spring passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2005 in Houston. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 19 at Sterling White Chapel Funeral Home in Highlands. Rev. Jerry Hovater will officiate.

Danny was born April 22, 1968 in Houston. He was a 1986 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a 1988 graduate of Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Ok. He was the youngest mechanic ever hired by Continental Airlines and continued to work there until his untimely passing. He was a beloved husband uncle and friend. In 1994 Danny received a kidney from his sister Gloria and continued to live a full life. Danny loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed to travel and was a black belt in Kuk Sool Won martial arts. Danny was a member of Lakewood Church in Houston. He was preceded in death by his sister, Francis Ritter.

Survivors include his wife, LaRae Adkins of Spring, sister Gloria O’Bannon and her husband Billy of Baytown, brother Jack Ritter and his fiancé Jessica of Baytown, his mother Paula Ritter of Pearland, niece Courtney O’Bannon and nephew Bryan O’Bannon, both of Baytown and a host of other relatives and close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Memorial Hermann Kidney Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Sterling White Chapel, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road, Highlands, TX.

Trent Clement

Trent Clement, 23, of Baytown, TX was born January 20, 1982 in Baytown and passed away at his home Friday, February 18, 2005.

He was a 2000 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School and a student at Texas State University at San Marcos.

There will be a private visitation for his family. A memorial service for the public will be held at Navarre Funeral Home Monday, February 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m.

He is survived by his parents, Adam and Deborah Clement of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Tracey and Craig Anderson and niece, Peyton, all of League City; and grandparents, Watts and Estelle Clement of Santa Fe, Evelyn Clark of Houston, and Bill and Nell Curry of New Caney.

Everlyn B. Eldridge

Everlyn B. Eldridge, 79, of Baytown was born October 28, 1925 in Haverhill, MA and passed away Friday, February 18, 2005 in a local nursing home. She attended Grace United Methodist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #11. She loved doing ceramics and bowling.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services with Eastern Star rites will be Monday, February 21, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Goodell officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mark L. Eldridge, Scott W. Eldridge Sr., Scott W. Eldridge II, Jeff Moody, Thomas Lewellyn, and Jason Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Eldridge and parents, Benjamin and Flora Chase and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheron and Gerald Marceaux of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott W. Sr. and Janet Eldridge of Baytown and Mark L. and Cindy Eldridge of Cleburne; sister, Nancy Carter of Merrimac, MA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Benjamin R. and Dot Chase and Samuel L. and Mary Chase, all of Orange City, FL; grandchildren, Teresa Moody and husband Jeff, Tamara Eldridge, Scott W. Eldridge II and wife Tina, Heather L. Bailey and husband Jason, and Mark W. Eldridge; and great grandchildren, Casi Clement, Scott W. Eldridge III, Nicole P. Ambler, Zak Moody, Jayna Moody, Blake Eldridge, and Jase D. Bailey.
