Delvin Dewayne Busby, 55, of Dallas, died in East Tawakoni, on Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home was in charge of the cremation arrangements.
Delvin was born on November, 29, 1957, to Fred Lawrence and Lois Gay Hubbard Busby.
Survivors include, son, Delvin Dewayne Busby, Jr. of Arizona; daughter, Dallas Busby; sisters, Patricia Reynolds and husband Robert of Hawkins, Deborah Jackson of Cave City, Arkansas, Carla Busby of East Tawakoni; brothers, Ricky Busby of Arlington, and Donald Busby of Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, David Busby in 2002.
A memorial service was held at the family home.
Bill Conner
1953 - 2012
William Alexander Conner III, 59, of Emory, died Thursday, December 6, 2012, at his residence. Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home was in charge of the cremation arrangements.
Bill was born on April 22, 1953, to William A. Conner II and Anna Mae Pipkin Conner.
He married Delores Mary Pecina in Garland on December 31, 1976.
Survivors include: his wife, Delores Conner of Emory; son, William Alexander “Alex” Conner IV and wife Mackenzi of Emory; sisters, Casey Cieszinksi and husband Chris of Rockwall, and Tana Conner of Richardson; brother, Kevin Conner and wife Amy of Rockwall; granddaughter, Skylar Kate Conner.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Richard F. Davis
1927 - 2012
Memorial services for Richard F. Davis, 85, of Alba, will be held at a later date by the family. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Davis died at his residence Saturday, December 22, 2012.
He was born June 26, 1927, in Malcom, Iowa, to Iver Delos and Ruth Mae Ford Davis. He served in the Marines during the Korean War and worked for the Veterans Administration in obtaining special housing for disabled veterans. He had lived in Wood County for 20 years and was a Methodist.
He is survived by sons and spouses, Bradford and Margaret Davis of Humboldt, Arizona, Richard E. and Toni Davis of Eustis, Florida, Bruce Davis of Arlington, and Iver and Kathy Davis of Gilbert, Arizona; daughters and spouses, Deborah and Charles Kerkhoff of Phoenix, Arizona, Kimberley and Brian Adair of Alba; sisters, Ermal Hill of Sun City, Arizona, Ruth Jean and Merle Bates of Fort Worth, and Beverly and Leonard Dowdell of Huachuca City, Arizona; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grand-children; two great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Patricia Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and brother-in-law and spouse Richard and Norma Brignon of Grinnell, Iowa.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald M. Davis; brothers, Iver Davis, Robert Davis, Dwight Davis, and Charles Davis; and sister, Corinne Howard.

Funeral service for Eddie Carroll Dollgener, 69, of Edgewood, will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Bro Alex Gonzalez and Bro. Dennis Swarb officiating.
Interment will follow at Small Cemetery.
Mr. Dollgener died at his residence in Edgewood on December 29, 2012. He was born December 16, 1943, to Arnold William and Hallie Marie Kirkland Dollgener. He married Janet Lynn Palmer on April 9, 1976, in Dallas.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Lynn Dollgener of Edgewood; daughters, Charlotte Diane Massey and husband Jimmy of Mesquite, Aimee Anyce Sweeden and husband Phil of Scroggins; sons, Eddie Carroll Dollgener Jr. of Wills Point, William Carl Dollgener and wife Tysha of Forney, Bryan Dale Vineyard of Edgewood; sisters, Nell Box, Cathy Lawrence, Nelma Billingsly, Doris Buckmeyer; brothers, James Dollgener, Robert Dollgener; and grandchildren, Kenneth Massey, Kayla McDonald, Courtney Massey, Sara Vineyard, Joshua Dollgener, Dee Dee Dollgener, Mason Sweeden, Marshall Sweeden, Amanda Dollgener, Cassie Vineyard, Valerie Vineyard and Justin Eagle Horse.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Alyssa Anne Dollgener, sisters, Joann Mullins and Wanda Dollgener; and brother, Arnold William Dollgener Jr.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Services for Maggie Francis Hitt Sellers, 96, of Dallas, formerly of Golden, were held Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Wilson Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with Bro. Merle Parker officiating.
Burial was in Pilgrim Rest No. 2 Cemetery, Golden.
Mrs. Sellers died Sunday, December 23, 2012, in Dallas.
She was born January 15, 1916, in Wood County to Charlie and Ollie Warden Mossenton. She lived in Golden for 20 years prior to moving to Dallas 13 years ago. She was a hairdresser and a member of Pilgrim Rest No. 2 Baptist Church, Golden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Wayne Hitt; and three sisters.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Curtis Hitt and wife Judy of Austin; daughter, Peggy Epps and husband David of Dallas; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Damon Epps, Jason Epps, Jeff Hitt, Greg Hitt, Tony Parsons and Randy Blackmon.

Services for Julie MaChelle Hughes Vaughn, 39, of Golden, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013, at Pilgrim Rest No. 2 Baptist Church, Golden, with Bro. Craig Kearby officiating.
Burial will be in Pilgrim Rest No. 2 Cemetery, Golden. Pallbearers will be James Parker, Alex Gonzalez, Chris Harpold, Bobby Wilkinson, Doug Douglas, Jon Allen, and Chris Carroll. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Carroll and David Bier.
Julie died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at her residence in Golden.
She was born November 1, 1973, in Tyler, to Larry Curtis and Retha Faye Carroll Hughes. She was a lifelong resident of the Golden area and was a graduate of Pilgrim Rest Christian Academy. She was in the Jacksonville College Choir in 1992-1994.
Julie married Joel Vaughn June 11, 1994, in Golden. She worked for Dunahoe Insurance in Mineola, home-schooled her sons and was an active member of Pilgrim Rest No. 2 Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Joel Vaughn of Golden; sons, Justin Colt Vaughn, Dakota Jake Vaughn, and Brannon Curtis Vaughn all of Golden; parents, Larry and Faye Hughes of Golden; sister, Pamala RaChelle Douglas and husband Doug of Austin; grandmother, Chesteen Hughes of Golden; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Sonja Vaughn of Ames, Oklahoma; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Doug and Tanie Vaughn of Decatur, and Brent and Lisa Vaughn of Phoenix, Arizona; two nieces and a nephew; two great-nieces and two great-nephews; numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Chilton Hughes; grand-parents Gene and Dorothy Carroll; uncles, Loy Carroll and Sammy Carroll; aunt, Alva Carroll; and cousins, Tony Carroll and Mike Carroll.

Funeral services for Willie Nolan Bullard, 92, were held February 4 at the Point Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Cogburn officiating.
Burial followed at Lone Star Cemetery in Point.
Mr. Bullard was born November 2, 1920, in Alba to Bishop Bascom and Ida Bogue Bullard.
He was a longtime resident of Rains County, a farmer who worked his land and raised cattle for a living.
Survivors include his grandsons, Simon Costeo, Darren Cummings and wife Jeniffer, and Daniel Moreno; great-grandchildren, Tyler Cummings and Stephanie Hammond; nephews, James Northcutt and wife, Louise and Jody Northcutt; nieces, Nancy Northcutt White and husband, James, Frances Northcutt Merchant and Collene Northcutt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debra Bullard Lough; brother, Buel Bullard; sisters, Viola Hawthorne, Eva Northcutt, Eunice McCollum and Jewel Bullard.

Carla Elaine Busby, 50, died at her residence in Point on January 14, 2013. She was born October 3, 1962, in Dallas to Fred Lawrence and Lois Gay Hubbard Busby.
She worked in a janitorial capacity in Dallas for many years.
Survivors include her sisters, Patricia Reynolds (Robert) of Hawkins and Deborah Jackson of Arkansas; other family members; friends; and caregiver, Ray Stafford.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory.
Clarence Phillipp Haupt III
1948 -2013
Clarence Phillipp Haupt III died February 2, 2013, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Mr. Haupt was born September 19, 1948, in Longview to Clarence Phillipp Jr. and Barbara Jean Nabors Haupt.
Phil was a floral designer in New York. During his tenure there, he was commissioned to send fresh flowers to actress Mary Tyler Moore’s home every Friday. When President Ronald Reagan and wife Nancy were in New York, the President would request that Phil design and make floral arrangements for their hotel suites.
When in Longview, he was a member of the Jaycees.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara Jean Clifton and husband Raymond of Point; daughter, Charlotte Ables of Waco; sister, Jeannie Cox and husband J.D. of Atlanta; brother, Steven Randolph Haupt and wife Kim of Emory; niece, Lindsie Cox of Austin; and nephew, Casey Cox of Austin.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Emma Jean Nabors; grandfather, Welton Nabors; and grandparents, LoDell and Clarence Phillipp Haupt Sr.

J.W. Herriage
1934 - 2013
Memorial services for J. W. Herriage, 78, will be held Sunday, February 10, at 2:00 p.m. at the Emory Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Burns officiating.
Mr. Herriage died January 24, 2013, in the Senior Suite Care and Rehab in Emory. He was born May 19, 1934, in Emory to Dr. (Doc) and Annie Lou Davis Herriage.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. His church affiliation was the League Street Church of Christ in Sulphur Springs.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Herriage Thorpe of Dallas; son, Clifford Dale Herriage of Emory; brother, David Herriage; sister, Mary Seigrist; grandchildren, Clifford D. Herriage, Wesley A. Thorpe, Preston T. Thorpe, Breanna Perry; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Herriage and Billy Herriage; sisters, Anne Baldwin and Melba Fay Childers.
