Yvonne Daut, 50, of Hempstead, passed away on September 26, 2002.
Mrs. Daut is survived by her husband of 30 years, John N. Daut, Sr., son, John N. Daut, Jr., daughter, Wendy Marie Daut, granddaughter, Haliegh V. Daut, brothers, Ervin Fishbeck, Jr. and wife Sue, Ronnie Fishbeck and friend Jessie, Chris Fishbeck and wife Debbie, Joe Fishbeck, sisters, Patsy Dirba and husband Raymond, Sandra Kresse and husband Matt, Sheryl Burt and husband Robert, Janet Dirba and husband Bill, Carol Oberender and husband David and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Daut was a member of the Eastern Star and past member of the Texas State Guard.
Visitation will be from 5 - 9 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2002 at Canon Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2002 at Canon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Wendt officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

W.C. BILL JACKSON
Mr. W.C. “Bill Jackson 69, of Butler, Texas passed away on September 26, 2002.
Born March 24, 1933 in Wooster, TX. Jackson was a resident in the Butler area for 10 years. Bill retired from the Baytown Police Department where he was a Lieutenant for 25 years. He was a member of the N.R.A., and graduated from the 115th FBI Academy in 1976 in Quantico, VA. He also served in the U.S.Army. He was a long time member of Wooster Baptist Church, in Wooster, Tx.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Velma Jackson, and son Scott Jackson, of Butler; and brother, James Jackson of Baytown.
He is preceded in death by his son James William Jackson, parents Charlie & Kathleen Pruet Jackson, and sister Charleen Adams.
The family will receive friends today September 29, 2002 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Monday, September 30, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel. with Rev. Don Suits II officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery in Fairfield.
Pallbearers are Dewayne Milligan, Don Milligan, Dr. Bruce Kennedy, Bill Goodman, Lee Lavargene, &Jim Niven.

Bret Wilson Sousa, 43 of Baytown went to be with the Lord September 23, 2002.
Bret was born May 5, 1959 in Augusta, GA, to Dewey and Margaret Sousa. Bret was the owner operator of Pro Painting and Wall covering in Baytown. He enjoyed watching Nascar racing, and all sports, his other interests include playing guitar and spending time with his family.
Bret is survived by his loving wife of 7 1/2 years; Sue Anne Sousa of Baytown; three daughters, Tonya Sousa of Houston, Kathleen Sousa of Batson, Holly Sousa of Baytown, father; Dewey Sousa of Dawsonville, GA; mother, Margaret Terry of Baytown; grand-
mother, Kathleen Marsh of Augusta, GA; two brothers, Trent Sousa of Highlands, Eric Sousa of Deer Park; sister, Terri Sousa of Highlands; granddaughter, Valerie of Houston, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 27, 2002 at Sterling White Chapel in Highlands with Rev. Charles Malone officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands. Visitation will be Thursday September 26, 2002 at Sterling White Chapel from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M.

SALOME SANDOVAL
Salome Sandoval, beloved, devoted, and compassionate wife, mother, and grandmother, courageously departed this earth to accept her angel wings on September 27, 2002.
Born November 28, 1932, Salome was a life-long resident of Baytown and graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. She dedicated her life to building and nurturing her family with her first love, husband Daniel Sandoval. As a reflection of their love and devotion, Daniel and Salome were blessed with four sons, Daniel, Thomas, Gilbert and Angel. Salome approached life with an open and compassionate heart. She graciously extended her generosity to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Salome leaves her love and faith-inspired spirit of life in the hearts of those who love her. Salome will be remembered as a truly companionate mother and friend. Her glamorous and gentle demeanor will remain a poignant memory with those who will keep her in their hearts forever.
Salome is preceded in death by her father, Matias Galvan, her mother, Carolina S. Galvan and her daughter-in-law, Valerie O. Sandoval.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel, children, Daniel and Melissa Sandoval, Thomas Sandoval, Gilbert Sandoval and Angel Sandoval. Grandchildren, David, Lisa, Olivia, Sarah, Gilbert, Daniel and Brianna Sandoval. Sisters-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Hilda Pena, Melquiades Sandoval, Oscar and Barbara Sandoval and Thomas and Cecilia Sandoval. Also, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and life long friends.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2002 and a Rosary will be held Sunday, September the 29, 2002 at 7 p.m. at Earthmans Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77520, 281-422-8181.

Buster Duane Lea, 49, passed away, Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at home.
Buster was a resident of Mont Belvieu area for 20 years and worked for the Barbers Hill School District for those 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Lea and sister, Sandra Lea.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer O’Reilly and John Manley of Mont Belvieu; father, Roy G. Lea of Atmor, Ala.; cousin, Christie Wineland of Valparaiso, Ind.; three grandchildren, Haley Lea of Beach City; Staci O’Reilly of Beach City and Colton Manley of Mont Belvieu.

RICHARD WAYNE DOBBINS
Richard Wayne Dobbins, 32, of Baytown, was born January 10, 1970 in South Laguna, CA and passed away at home Tuesday September 24, 2002.
He was a member of the United Pentecostal faith and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Operation Desert Storm.
Visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home, today, September 26, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Robert Leizer will officiate.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Ashley Nicole Dobbins of Grand Prairie; son, Richard Wayne Dobbins II of Baytown; father, Donald Dobbins of Baytown; mother, Janet Daniel of Baytown; sister, Amy A. Leizear of Frederick, MD; brothers, Steven Jeffery Dobbins of Frederick, MD and Jeremy Gene Dobbins of Baytown; grandparents, Bill and Phyllis Hill of Arlington; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
