Chester Russell
Services for Chester Russell of Kilgore will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope with Revs. J.E. Lister and T.E. Wady officiating.
Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of James E. Lister's Funeral Home.
Mr. Russell was a groundman laborer.
Survivors include a brother-in-law and wife, Leon and Lola Sanders of Kilgore; a sister, Sarah Russell Hayes of Kilgore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 7 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
JEFFREY BROWN McKNIGHT
Funeral for Jeffrey McKnight, 20, of Longview, is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Woodfin Chapel in Murfreesboro, Tenn. with Robert Vick officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
Mr. McKnight died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born Dec. 28, 1978, in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
He was employed by Bemis Custom Products as a printing assistant.
Survivors include his wife, Nicole McKnight of Longview; his parents, Donna and Roger Gee of Longview and James Porter and Virginia McKnight of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a brother, James McKnight of Longview; three sisters, Tiffany Gee and Jessica Gee of Longview and Katie McKnight of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; his grandparents, Sammie and Pauline Brown of Rockvale, Tenn. and James Porter and Louise McKnight of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends in the Woodfin Chapel in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.
BETTY JANE MYERS IRVINS
TYLER - Services for Mrs. Betty Jane Myers Ivins, 72, of Tyler, are set for 9:30 a.m. Friday in Tyler Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Vernis Stanaland and Elder Clifford Gowens officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Crown Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Dallas.
Services are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler.
Mrs. Ivins died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, in a Tyler hospital.
She was born Nov. 23, 1926, in Amarillo.
Mrs. Ivins resided in Tyler since 1992 when she moved from Dallas.
She was a member of Tyler Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ivins was preceded in death by her husband, Blake Ivins in 1980 and her son, Ronald Blake Ivins.
Survivors include a son, David Ivins of Kilgore; two daughters, Cherrel Rybolt of North Hampton, Mass. and Cindy Segafredo of Columbia, Mo.; a sister, Frances Crawford of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
OLGA BROYLES HART
LONGVIEW - Graveside services for Olga Broyles Hart, 95, of Longview, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Simpsonville Cemetery with Ritchie Hamm officiating. Services are under the direction of Welch Funeral Home.
Mrs. hart died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, in Brookshire.
She was born June 6, 1904, in Lockney.
Mrs. Hart was a member of Pine Tree Church of Christ in Longview.
Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her husband, William Hardy Hart.
She was the mother of Bill and Mary Hart of Hobbs, N.M., Hugh Hart of Longview, Bob and Anne Hart of Lindale and Lynda and Jerry Wickliffe of Brookshire; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Beverly West of Houston, two sisters-in-law, Cecil Hart of Kilgore and Rose Hart of Gladewater and many nieces and nephews.

James Bryan Kirby, 56, of Sulphur, died at 8:58 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004 in a Sulphur hospital after a lengthy illness.
PAMELIA GAIL GRACY
Pamelia Gail Gracy, age 50 of Royse City, Texas, passed away March 27, 2004.
She was born Dec. 7, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Billy Floyd and Floriene Ray (Bralley) Gracy.
She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
TRACY LEE LARAMORE-WEST
Tracy Lee Laramore-West, age 30 of Royse City, TX, passed away March 17, 2004.
He was born May 18, 1973, in Killeen, TX, to Jim and Fay (Gatewood) West.
JACK C. MATTHEWS
Jack C. Matthews, age 69, passed away May 1, 2004, in Houston, Texas.
He was born Nov. 22, 1934, in Canadian, Texas, to Robert Newton and Velma Opal (Curb) Matthews.
He was a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, for 13 years before moving to Rockwall, Texas, several months ago.
Jack was a loving husband, the best Daddy and Granddaddy.
He honored his wife and family by instilling his Christian faith and walk with the Lord into them.
In 1960, Jack graduated from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas, and in 1961, he began working for Kirby out of Amarillo, Texas.
In 1969, he became a Kirby Zone Factory Distributor in Corpus Christi, where he received many awards.
In addition, he was an Outreach Distributor for the Factory.
Jack retired in June of 2003; however, he remained a Kirby Consultant, a Kirby Counsel Member, and was the only permanent member of Kirby Southwest Division 100 Percent Club.
He was also a devoted member of Gardendale Church in Corpus Christi.
HOWARD LEE STRONG
Howard Lee Strong, age 58, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away April 27, 2004, in Rowlett, Texas.
He was born Jan. 31, 1946, in Ava, Mo., to Alva J. and Irene (Pool) Strong.
Mr. Strong served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict, and enjoyed working in appliance sales at Sears in Mesquite, Texas, for over nine years.
DAVID MORGAN SARTAIN
David Morgan Sartain, age 50, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away June 8, 2004.
He was born Jan. 28, 1954, in Wylie, Texas, to Hollis Morgan & Venita Charlene (Bentley) Sartain.
David worked as a machinist, was an avid painter and musician, and was a member of the Chisholm Baptist Church.
