JERI ANNE HUDGINS
Services for Jeri Anne Hudgins, 50, of Kilgore will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003 at the Welch Funeral & Memorial Center Chapel with Garden Court Committal, 4619 Judson Road. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2003 at the funeral and memorial center.
Born Dec. 17, 1952, Jeri Anne went home to see her Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, Oct. 8, during the early morning hours at Good Shepherd Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Hudgins, brothers Kenneth Wayne Hudgins and C. Ray Hudgins, all of Kilgore, husband Michael Renshaw of Port Arthur, and an aunt and uncle.
She is survived by her mother, Kathryn Hudgins of Kilgore; children, Shane Renshaw, Tammi Renshaw, Kathryn Blackford, and Jason and Shanna Dodson, all of Kilgore; six grandchildren, Shayne Blackford, Jessica Perry, Taylor Hughes, Steve Ray Vowell, Tara Renshaw and Bailea Dodson; brothers, Robert and Vivian Hudgins and Ricky and Rita Hudgins, and sister-in-law Sue Hudgins and Phyllis McLain, all of Kilgore; four uncles and aunts; four nephews and three nieces; and a number of cousins and extended family members.
In the end she put the Lord above all else and was finally able to have inner peace.
JACK WILLIAM CECIL
Services for Jack William Cecil of Kilgore were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004 at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with the Rev. Robert Besser officiating. Interment followed at Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bob Barbee, Jerry Fontineau, Richard Ross, Toby Cecil, Todd Cecil and Mike Hendrick.
Mr. Cecil passed away Feb. 9, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Jack was born Aug. 30, 1919 in Asher, Okla., to Marion D. and Lydia M. Cecil. He was a longtime resident of Kilgore and a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
Jack retired in 1986 after 30 years of service form TriState/Baker Hughes Tool Companies. He was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Hyahwanah Cafer Cecil; three children, Lydia Ford of Dallas, Randy Cecil and wife Neva of Richardson and Cynthia Siebert of Kilgore; four grandchildren, Theresia Woolsey of Austin, Shannon Siebert Hendrick and husband Mike of Kilgore, and Toby and Todd Cecil of Richardson; and two great-granddaughters.

ANN MARRS DANIELS
Services for Ann Marrs Daniels, 83, of Longview, wife of the late Z.T. Daniels, will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 at the Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum with the Rev. Dwayne Beaty officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Rader Funeral Home, Longview, is in charge of services.
Mrs. Daniels died Monday evening at her residence.
Born in Olden, Texas, Nov. 26, 1920 to Starlin and Ann Marrs, she graduated from North Texas State University and was a substitute teacher for 20 years.
She was a pink lady at Good Shepherd Hospital Emergency Room for six years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Longview and the American Legion Post 63 Auxiliary, Franklin, La.
Mrs. Daniels is survived by a son, Z.T. Daniels II of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Ellen D. (Len) Wooley of Longview; grandchildren, Genealen M. Wooley Johnson of Dallas, Tynessa D. Dacus of Jonesboro, Ga., Jason Daniels and Shelley White of East Point, Ga.; Julie D. Johns of Charlotte, N.C.; cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Granbery of Houston, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Trueheart of Norman, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Granbery of Cave Creek, Ariz., Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Howell of Carmichael, Calif., Fredrick Weinzeral of Riverside, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Weinzeral of Harper; and all of their extended families.
Family requests no flowers but asks memorials to the Cancer Society, Arthritis Foundation, Lung Association or Millie’s Ministries (315 Eden Dr., Apt. 41, Longview, TX 75605).

LEORA GARRETT
Funeral services for Leora Garrett, 80, of Dallas will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, at Mt. Rose Church, 830 S. Buckner, Dallas. A wake will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at Mt. Rose Church.
Mrs. Garrett was born Feb. 27, 1924 in Kaufman, raised in Overton and later moved to Dallas in 1961. She was a member of Mt. Rose Church. She departed this life June 29, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Garrett; mother, Eva Garrett; sons, Roger, Roy Lee and Charles; brothers, Fred Jr., Willie, James, Bobby D., Robert and Albert Lee; granddaughter, Shakimi EraSha; and a great-granddaughter.
Those left to cherish the memories are sons, Jimmy, Vertis, Emmett and Rickey; daughters, Laverne (Ron) and Atha Lee; two stepchildren, Travis and Lois Duncan; sisters, Jaunita, Etta Mae, Johnnie and Linda; brothers, Isiah, Carl, Freddie and Larry; 33 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
JACK P. PATTON
Services for Jack P. Patton, 76, of Kilgore will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Robert and Pam Besser officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro. Mr. Patton passed away Tuesday, June 29, at his home in Kilgore.
Mr. Patton was born Oct. 10, 1927 in Lockhart to the late James and Dolores Patton. He was a member of the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Mr. Patton was retired from Mobil Oil where he worked as a supervisor for nearly 40 years. After retirement he worked with his brother at Patton Corporation. He also served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Japan.
His parents, five brothers and three sisters precede Mr. Patton in death.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Vivian Patton of Kilgore; son and daughter-in-law, John Robert and Donna Patton of Odessa; daughter, Sallie Patton Hamilton of Azle; granddaughter, Victoria Hamilton of Azle; sister, Anna Belle Collins of Houston; brother, Allen Patton of Luling; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Memorials can be made to the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 401 E. Main, Kilgore, TX 75662.
The Patton family will receive friends Thursday, July 1, 2004 from 6 until 7:30 in the evening at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.

T. MILDRED PATTERSON
Services for T. Mildred Patterson, 82, of Kilgore will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2004 in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Hardin officiating. Burial will follow at the Kilgore Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mrs. Patterson passed away Tuesday, June 29, in Longview.
She was born Oct. 11, 1921 in Belton to the late Jim and Mattie Prewitt. Mrs. Patterson was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She also worked for many years as a seamstress for Nardis in Kilgore. Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly Church.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Patterson of Kilgore; six children, Wayne Patterson of Kilgore, David Patterson of East Mountain, Patricia Siddick of Kilgore, Nelda Moore of Kilgore, Roger Patterson of Kilgore and Donald Patterson of Harmony; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family.
Two sisters and two brothers precede Mrs. Patterson in death.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 2, at the Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
