Mr. Gonzales
Juan B. Gonzales, Sr., 58, of George West, died on July 13, 2007.
He was born to Ernesto and Dominga (Balderras) Gonzales in George West on June 24, 1949. He was a driller-uranium exploration and a member of the Catholic church.
He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Senaida Saldiva and a nephew, Gonzalo Lopez.
He was survived by his mother, Domiga B. Gonzales, of George West; two sons, Juan Gonzales, Jr. of George West and Jimmy Gonzales of Beeville; two daughters, Irma Linda Martinez and Pamela Gonzales both of Beeville; four sisters, Carmen Casas of Beeville, Juanita Morales of Houston, Rosalinda Vasquez of Vanderhilt, Norma Banda of Victoria; two brothers, Ernesto Gonzales, Jr. and Ricardo Gonzales both of George West, ten grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West. R3iop-0osary was cited at 7:30 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Chapel. Funeral services were held on Monday, at 10 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church. Internment followed at George West Cemetery with Fr. Joseph Olikkara officiating.
Pallbearers were Carlos Saldiva, Lee Roy Saldiva, Nick Martinez, Jr., Juan Casas III, Margarito Casas, Jr., Richard Lee Gonzales, Arturo Banda, Sr., Lorenzo Banda. Honorary pallbearers are all his nephews and friends.

Mr. Redding
Ira Dell Redding, 69, of Simmons City, died on July 10, 2007.
He was born to Lynn and Dullcenia (Thompson) Redding on January 26, 1938. He was an oilfield worker.
He was survived by two sisters, Mabel Looney of Port O’Conner and Wanda Wood of Simmons City and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Thursday, July 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Simmons City Cemetery.

Mr. Cunningham
Harold B. Cunningham, 74, of Three Rivers passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007. He was an army veteran and a member of White Creek Baptist Church.
Harold was born on Jan. 16, 1933 in Blackwell, Texas. He married Dolores Kennemer on Feb. 2, 1953.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ruth (Brown) Cunningham; one sister, Bernice Cunningham; and one brother, James Cunningham.
Survivors include his wife Dolores (Kennemer) Cunningham of Three Rivers; two daughters, Darla (Travis) Calliham of Calliham, Sharon (Larry) Holmes of Three Rivers; one son, Randy (Kennah) Cunningham of Ridgeway, Colorado; three brothers, Hershel P.(Jimmy) Cunningham of Oakwood, Carl (Marylyn) of Brenham, Jearl (Mary) Cunningham of Canton; three sisters, Faye Waddell of Myrtle Creek Oregon, Ruby(Curtis) Louellen of Brady, Shirley (Larry) Knight of Austin; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 13 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Services will be Friday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. at White Creek Baptist Church of Three Rivers. Interment will follow at White Creek Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Glenn Killam with Donna Davis as musician and Mart Brysch as soloist.
Pallbearers Ronny Gee, Wallace Gee, Bobby Geffert, Cody Cunningham, Jim Davis and Justin Murdock.

Mr. Hernandez
Joe Nino Hernandez, 35, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007 at a hospital in Washington, D.C. He was born to Thomas and Maria (Briseno) Hernandez.
Services are pending at this time.

Mrs. Ogg
Bonnie Ruth Williams Ogg, 90, of Rocksprings died in Corpus Christi on Aug. 30, 2007.
She was born to George and Bessie Crawford on Jan. 8, 1917 in Rocksprings.
Mrs. Ogg was a retired LVN. She was as member of the Saxet Height Baptist Church and had quite a green thumb and enjoyed gardening as her hobby.
She will be most remembered by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren for all the loving memories she gave them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Bessie Crawford; her first husband Henry Oscar Williams; daughter, Helen Dotson; son, Henry Doyle Williams; and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Ogg; her children Leona (Calvin) Collier, Henrietta (Frank) Colle, Jennie Wilson (Lawrence Stiegier), Charles (Paulette) Williams, Harold Williams; her brother, Edward Crawford; 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous great great, great great great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at Seaside Funeral Home, on Monday Sept. 3, 2007, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
A funeral service was held at Seaside Chapel on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007 at 10 a.m.
Interment was at Seaside Memorial Park.
Mrs. Valadez
Juanita Almendarez Valadez, 74, of Three Rivers died on Sept. 5, 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was born to Porfirio and Pasqual (Moya) Almendarez on Oct. 8, 1932 in Tilden. She married Juan Cruz Valadez in Fowlerton.
She was preceded in death by her a son, Juan Valadez, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Cruz Valadez of Three Rivers; three sons, Joe Dominguez of Three Rivers, Ralph (Herminia) of Three Rivers, Marcos Valadez of Beeville; two daughters, Minga Munoz of Three Rivers, Mellie (Juan) Favela of Three Rivers; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Chapel in Three Rivers. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 6 at Galloway & Sons Chapel in Three Rivers. Mass was held on Friday, Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers. Interment followed at Three Rivers Cemetery with Fr. Ryszard Zielinski officiating.

Mrs. Chandler
Margaret Chandler, 83, died on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born to Jesse Lee and Mary Jane Sinor on Oct. 2, 1923, in Live Oak County. She was a member of the Cadiz Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney M. Chandler; one brother, Jimmy Sinor; and one granddaughter, Kelly Rose Chandler.
Survivors include two sons, Gordon M. (Charlotte) Chandler and Sidney L. (Janie) Chandler, both of George West; one sister, Lorena Heffnarn of Pleasanton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers. Graveside funeral services were held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Lebanon Cemetery in Live Oak County.

Mrs. Reed
Billie Jo Reed, 80, of Fort Worth died Aug. 2, 2007. She was a nurse and a member of the Baptist church. She was a former resident of Good Hope and graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1944.
Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Reed of Houston, Michael Reed of Fort Worth; daughters, Judy Brooks of Fort Worth, Sally Steffey of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Doris Story Pope of Mexia; four brothers, Charlie Brown of Oklahoma, Charles Everett of Houston, John Everett of Carrollton, Jerry Everett of Forney; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 4 in Blair-Stubbs Chapel with interment following in Mexia Cemetery.
Mr. Geffert
Marvin Louis Geffert, 83, of George West, died on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007.
He was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Live Oak County to Janie Halberdier Geffert and August Geffert Sr. On Jan. 14, 1948, he married Rose Marie Kolodciej in Cestohowa. He served in the U.S. Army and made his living farming, ranching and doing carpentry.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Geffert of George West; three daughters, Shirley (Fred) Davis of George West, Gloria (Mike Robertson) Gabrysch of Corpus Christi, and Patty (Bob) Bianchi of Victoria; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and two brothers, August Geffert Jr. and Leroy Geffert, both of George West.
Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West and a rosary recited there at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. George Catholic Church in George West with Father Joseph Olikkara officiating. Interment followed at St. George Cemetery.
