Services for Billy Alwen Rogers, 64, Mabank, were held Dec. 31, 2003, at Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank with Chaplain Denny Burris officiating. Interment was in Payne Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home of Mabank.
Rogers was born April 17, 1939, in Malakoff to Albert and Lena (Price) Rogers and died Dec. 29, 2003, in Mabank.
He lived in the Mabank area most of his life. He was a retired ironworker and member of the Iron Workers Local Union 263. He was a member of the R.C. Buckner Masonic Lodge and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Rogers, Mabank; sons, Michael and his wife, Lana Rogers, Canton; Keith and his wife, Andrea Rogers, Mabank; daughter Jennifer and her husband, Todd Hopkins, Murchison; brother Sterling and his wife, Darlene Rogers, Alton, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Camille Rogers, Jerad Rogers, Elijah Rogers, Colin Rogers, Taylor Rogers, Chloe Rogers, Jess Hopkins.
Scott Sutton
Services for Scott Eugene Sutton, 60, Lancaster, were held Dec. 30, 2003, at Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Seven Points with Bro. Jack Dyer officiating. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Sutton was born April 26, 1943, in Rockford, Ill., to Charles E. and Verna L. Sutton and died Dec. 26, 2003, in Lancaster.
He was an automotive parts salesman and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sutton, Lancaster; sons, Steve Sutton, Mabank; John Sutton, Illinois; and David Gordon, Garland; daughter, Susan Vehn, Arlington; brother, Jim Sutton, St. Charles, Miss; sisters, Shirley Hess, Charlotte Hunt and Michelle Kling, all of Bryon, Ill.
Paul Semmelan
Paul Hieron Semmelan, 43, Gun Barrel City, died Dec. 25, 2003, in Gun Barrel City.

Robert Beall
Memorial services for Robert Beall, 82, Gun Barrel City, will be held Jan. 10, 2004, at the Aley First United Methodist Church in Seven Points with the Rev. Eston Williams officiating. The services are under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Beall was born March 12, 1921, in Redkey, Ind., to Harold and Abigail Beall, and died Dec. 18, 2003, in Athens. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jeanette Phillips.
He was an aircraft technician for General Motors and belonged to the HUMP pilots association. He was a flight officer for the United States Army. During World War II he piloted aircraft and commanded crew in the transportation of troops and supplies into enemy territory. He received the Air Medal and two battle stars.
Survivors include his wife, Louann Beall, Gun Barrel City; son Robert and his wife, Nancy Beall, Alexandria, La.; daughters, Maryann Barnett, Glendale, Ariz.; Teresa Solesky, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Marsha, Joyce and their families; sister Elenor Reynard, Indiana; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Lynn Keese
Mass for Mary "Lynn" Keese, 76, Tool was held Nov. 1, 2003, at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Gun Barrel City with Father Raymundo Garcia and Richard Sykora officiating. Burial will be in the Kemp Cemetery under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points. .
Lynn was born Aug. 30, 1927, in Dallas to Lyn and Agnes Reilly Seastrunk, and died Oct. 29, 2003, at her residence.
She had been living in the Cedar Creek Lake area for more than 20 years where she loved to give her time to the community.
She volunteered her time with the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts, she was a member of the Friends of the Library Club and Happy Hearts Club, Altar Society and Mother's Club.
Lynn was past president of the Ladies Guild and helped to organize the food pantry. She also served on the Tool City Council and worked for the humane society.
She belonged to the St. Jude Catholic Church in Gun Barrel City. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip McDonald Keese.
Survivors include her children and spouses, Dan and Bonnie Keese, Heath, Tx; Steve Keese, Tyler; Kathy and Scott Moore, Tyler; and Phillip Keese, Dallas; 9 Grandchildren; 6 Great-grandchildren and loving friend and companion George Chandler of Tool.
Keith Dwayne Johnson
Graveside services for Keith Dwayne Johnson, 36, Athens, were held Nov. 5, 2003, at the Shiloh Cemetery in Kaufman County with the Rev. James Hughes officiating under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home of Kemp.
Johnson was born Feb. 7, 1967, in Mabank to Bobby Lynn and Glenda Roberson Johnson, and died Nov. 2, 2003, in Henderson County.
He was married to the former Mary Ann Duncan.

Becky Jo Kent
Services for Becky Jo Kent, 51, Kemp, were held Nov. 4, 2003, at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp, with the Rev. Lew Stokes officiating. Interment followed in Tool Cemetery in Henderson County.
Kent was born Nov. 30, 1951, in Dallas to Jim Ray and Waldine Taylor Kent and died Nov. 1, 2003, in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brenneman; and her father, Jim Ray Kent.
She lived in Tool the past five years and was a senior administrative assistant at the University of Texas, Southwest Medical Center.
Survivors include her mother, Waldine Kent, Tool; brothers, Mike Kent and his wife, Jerrie, Balch Springs; and Terry Kent and his wife, Cindy, Balch Springs; sisters, Cathy English and her husband, Bobby, Tool; and Beverly Kunz, Tool; stepdaughters, Susan Adkisson, Rhonda Clark and her husband, Greg; and Melinda Osborne; nieces and nephews, Monica, Daz, Zach, Selena, Jason, Cory and Bree; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Lola Jane Anderholm
Services for Lola Jane Hopkins Anderholm, 54, San Francisco, Calif., were held Nov. 1, 2003, in Eubank Memorial Chapel, Mabank, with the Rev. Dwight Prather officiating. Interment was in Elm Grove Cemetery, Van Zandt County, under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Anderholm was born Nov. 2, 1948, in Mabank to Lewis and Lucille (Bryant) Anderholm, and died Oct. 24, 2003, in Walnut Creek, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews.
She was employed as a school teacher in Conrad, Calif. since 1979 and taught children with learning disabilities and was a very special teacher.
Survivors include her sister, Corena Jones, Mabank; brothers, Mason L. Hopkins and wife, Mary Frances, Seagoville; and Beauford Hopkins, Plano; aunt, Hazel Meredith, Canton; uncles, Loyd Bryant and Foye Bryant, both of Canton; nephews, Mason E. Hopkins and Clyde Hopkins, both of Dallas; and other family members.
Frank E. Smith
Services for Frank Eston Smith, 91, Kemp, were held Nov. 4, 2003, at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp, with Rev. Dub Henry officiating. Interment followed in Kemp Cemetery under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp.
Smith was born Sept. 26, 1912, in Enid, Okla. to Frank and Lilly Smith, and died Oct. 30, 2003, in Kemp. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ralph Salter in 1993.
He married Emma Lowry June 20, 1936, in Lexington, Ill. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kemp.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Emma Smith, Kemp; daughters, Janice Smith, Ashtabula, Ohio; Pat Proctor, Irving; and June Salter, Dallas; son, Ralph R. Smith, Olympia, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas Smith, Glasgow, Ky.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Georgia Lee Wooldridge
Services for Georgia Lee Wooldridge, 83, Mabank, were held Oct. 31, 2003, at the First Baptist Church of Gun Barrel City, with the Rev. Byron Jones officiating. Interment followed in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home of Kemp.
Wooldridge was born July 2, 1920, in Mineral Wells to E.C. and Georgia L. Dalton Mays, and died Oct. 29, 2003, in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel A. Wooldridge in 1991.
She lived in Oak Harbor since 1971, having moved there from Dallas, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City. She married Joel A. Wooldridge July 27, 1940, in Mineral Wells.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Linden Aycock, Oak Harbor; grandchildren, Doug Lander, Lynn Aycock and Vickey Mathis; 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bob Ladd, Mineral Wells; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Donald Elmore, Roy W. Friemel, Chris Bombe, Michael Cook, Harold McMahon and Jim Valentine.
Harold D. Autry
Services for Harold D. Autry, 79, Eustace, were held Oct. 31, 2003, at Cedar Creek Memorial Park with the Rev. Marsha Hodges officiating. Interment was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home of Mabank.
Autry was born Jan. 21, 1924, in Tiogo, and died Oct. 29, 2003, in Athens.
He was in maintenance and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was a Mason and was married 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Autry, Eustace; daughter, Janice Autry; stepdaughters, Patsy Adams, Dallas; Donna Clark, Fort Worth; Linda Davis, Irving; Sue Ferrell, Irving; Vicky Jones, Oklahoma City, Okla.; stepsons, Michael Cummons, Jacksonville, Fla.; Bill Abbott, Arlington; stepgranddaughter, Cissy Williams; and 16 stepgrandchildren.
Jimmy Feemster
Services for Jimmy Feemster, 73, Kemp, were held Nov. 1, 2003, at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp, with Rev. Jim Renfro officiating. Interment followed in the King Cemetery in Henderson County.
Feemster was born Dec. 31, 1930, in Dallas to Edward Raymond and Cora Lee Williams Feemster, and died Oct. 29, 2003, at his residence.
He had lived in Kemp for the past 13 years. He married Pauline Smith in Dallas, Aug. 11, 1951. He was a police officer with the Lancaster Police Department for 27 years, serving as Deputy Chief for 13 years. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and AMVETS.
Survivors include his wife, Polly Feemster, Kemp; sons, Jimmy G. Feemster, Midlothian; and Steve Allen Feemster, Red Oak; daughters, Nancy Ann Bridges, Red Oak; and Treva Lane, Kemp; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Feemster, Wylie; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Ray Phillips
Services for Ray Phillips, 63, Mabank, were held Oct. 31, 2003, at First Assembly of God with the Rev. David Nottingham officiating. Burial was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home of Mabank.
Phillips was born Feb. 24, 1940, in Dallas and died Oct. 29, 2003, in Mabank.
He was a textile wholesaler and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved motor sports and hunting. Grandchildren knew him as Pa-Paw.
Survivors include his sife, Bessie Phillips, Mabank; sons, David Phillips, Rowlett; Kenneth Riggs, Garland; daughter, Brenda Ward, Plano; sister, Juanella Pearson, Kemp; five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Jennings, Tex Jennings, Kenny Riggs, Cameron Schacht, Jody Ward and Rodney Ward.
Jerry Anding
Services for Jerry Douglas Anding, 59, Athens, were held Nov. 1, 2003, at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home chapel in Athens, with the Rev. Don Hiser officiating.
Burial was in Becks Chapel Cemetery.
Anding was born Feb. 14, 1944, in Henderson County to the late Douglas and Ellen Fuller Anding, and died Oct. 30, 2003, in a Tyler hospital. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Scott Anding in 1989.
He was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and was a retired service technician in the construction and convenience store industries.
Survivors include his brother, Larry Anding, Athens; sisters, Murleen Stockard, Athens; and B.J. Bass, Dallas; and special friend, Nedra Trull, Kemp.
Pallbearers were Steve Anding, Gary Young, Tommy Stockard, Jeff Young, Dan Barnes and Doug Bass.
