Services for Edward "Pete" Airheart, 79, Brownsboro, were held May 1, 2003, at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home chapel, Athens, with Pastors Steve Smith and Eddie Airheart officiating. Burial was in Trinidad Cemetery.
Airheart was born May 17, 1923, in Trinidad to the late Clarence Collins and Irene Wilson Airheart, and died April 29, 2003, in a Tyler hospital. He was preceded in death by brothers, C.W. Airheart and Buster Airheart.
He was a farmer and rancher, and member of Chandler Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Airheart, Brownsboro; daughters, Marsha Airheart, Malakoff; Debbie Lopez, Ennis; and Terri Ellis, Canton; sons, Ted Airheart, Trinidad; Eddie Airheart, North Little Rock, Ark.; and Stephen Airheart, Dallas; sisters, Alice Gaston, Bryan; Francis Newsome and Hildred Cartlidge, both of Trinidad; and Margaret Crawford, Cedar Creek Lake; brothers, Pat Airheart and J.C. Airheart, both of Trinidad; and A.P. "Bill" Airheart, Beeville; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Johnston, J.M. Kirby, Chris Bennett, Jimmy Bennett, David Dean and Matt Hermann.

Services for Norman Jett, born March 29, 1933, in Dallas, were held May 30, 2003, at Ferguson Road Baptist Church, Dallas. Burial followed in Grove Hill Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Loudine Jett.

Roy Smith
Services for Roy Smith, 79, Mabank, were held May 29, 2003, at Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Lindsey officiating. Burial followed in Prairieville Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home of Mabank.
Smith was born Sept. 13, 1923, in Kaufman County, and died May 26, 2003, in Athens. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
He was a deacon at Prairieville Baptist Church and a member of Roddy Lodge No. 747, Mabank Eastern Star No. 821. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Alene Smith, Prairieville; daughters, Rayline and her husband, Billy Dyer, Mabank; Teresa and her husband, Earnest Owens, Prairieville; Laurette and her husband, Tony Rogillio, Kaufman; sister, Robbie McKay, Gun Barrel City; nephew, Tommy De Freeze; sister-in-law, Ethel Smith, Richardson; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Saundra Boulter
Services for Saundra H. Boulter, 63, Mabank, were held May 31, 2003, at Eubank Chapel in Canton, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Inc., Canton.
Boulter was born Feb. 12, 1940, in Dublin, to Vernon Loyd and Audrey Francis Muniselle Higginbotham, and died May 28, 2003, after a long illness at her residence in Mabank. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Lee Mears.
She was a Baptist and was raised in Comanche County. She married in Dallas, and lived in the Tyler area for 20 years, living in Mabank the past nine years. She was a loving wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Chester N. Boulter, Mabank; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Dean and Kay Boulter, Powell; Carl N. and Kim Soo Boulter, Mabank; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Renae and John Chambers, Waxahachie; Cynthia Elaine Boulter, Mabank; Debbie and Loyd Roberts, Mabank; sister, Shirley Francis Fincher, Waxahachie; 16 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Eugene Baker
Services for Eugene V. Baker, 76, Wills Point, were held at 2 p.m. May 30, 2003, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home chapel, Wills Point, with the Rev. Mike Williams and Tony Cooper officiating.
Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery.
Baker was born March 2, 1927, to the late Fred and Elizabeth Greenway Baker in Wills Point, and died May 27, 2003, in a Mabank nursing home.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Juanita Phillips Baker, Aug. 5, 1990; sister, Dorothy Burleson; and an infant brother, Wiley Baker.
He grew up and attended schools in Wills Point. He served in the Army during World War II.
He moved to Arlington and worked for Dow Chemical Co. until retirement in 1984. He was a Lutheran.
Survivors include his daughters, Carolyn Evans, Spring, and Kathy Maloney, Greenfield, N.H.; brother, Richard Baker, Edgewood; Leon Baker and Derrell Baker, both of Wills Point; sisters, Christine Brockman and Bea Turner, both of Wills Point; and Vernell Parsons, Rockwall; special friend, Marie Peters, Gun Barrel City; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services and interment for Mattie Lee Tedder, 88, Mabank, formerly of DeSoto, were held 11 a.m., May 30, 2003, at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 9718 Webb Chapel Rd. at Lombardy, Dallas, with Dr. James Harms officiating, under the direction of West/Hurtt Funeral Home of DeSoto.
Tedder died May 28, 2003.
She was a retired seamstress with Capitol Industries and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her son, Richard Tedder, stepsons, James and Robert Tedder; stepdaughter, Shirley Moore; brother, Radford Beale and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home of Mabank.
Langford was born Jan. 25, 1919, in Clay County, and passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2003, in Kaufman.
He was a carpenter and veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the Carpenters Union #198, Dallas and received his 50 pin from the Masonic Lodge.

Laura S. Ratliff
Memorial services for Laura S. Ratliff, 59, Gun Barrel City, were held June 22, 2002, at Edgemont Park Baptist Church. Interment followed at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, Mesquite.
Mama, Nanny, Sister and Friend, she was born Sept. 30, 1942, in Paletine, Ill., and died June 7, 2002, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd David and Melva Blakeslee Stacy; her husband, C.O. Ratliff; and "Peanut."
She will be missed by many. The family would like to thank the many people at Baylor who cared for her and gave her joy in her last days, especially Doris Jordan. What you alone gave her in those short weeks can never be taken away.

Lacey was born May 15, 1932, in Wetumpka, Ala.; and died June 11, 2003. He was preceded in death by son, Wayne Rex. Lacey, Jr., in 1994.
He was employed with Yellow Freight for 23 years and Jones Freight for 19 years.

Earlene Roach, 64, Kemp, died June 9, 2003, in Athens. Cremation services were under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home of Kemp.
Roach was born May 2, 1939, in McKinney, to William and Edith (Taylor) Roach.

Wanda Huddleston
Services for Wanda Huddleston, 61, Wills Point, were held June 18, 2003, at Church of Latter Day Saints with First Counselor of the Bishopric Don Creed and Elder Glenn McNeill officiating. Burial was in Ellis Chapel Cemetery near Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home, Wills Point.
Huddleston was born Jan. 5, 1942, in Gunter to Herbert and Clara Fries Suter and died June 15, 2003, in a Greenville hospital.
She grew up in Gunter and worked at the Wills Point Chronicle for 24 years, retiring in 2002. She had lived in Wills Point since 1968. She was a Morman.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Huddleston, Wills Point; son, Richard Underwood, Kaufman; brother, Kennith Suter, Kansas City, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
