JOHN W. DIXON
John William DIXON, 78 for a number of years caretaker at the Fourpine School, died at 7:45 a.m. today at his home on the Salt work road.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hassell & Foster Chapel by the Rev. Robert Dean., pastor of Holmes Chapel Methodist church.
Burial will be in Broyles Chapel Cemetery...........
Born in Freestone County 22 Dec 1877, to the late Thomas Jefferson and Mary Frances HUMPHRIES DIXON, he was formally foreman for the Palestine Salt Works.......
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Belle Nicholson Dixon ; two sons, J.W. Of Baytown and T.J. Dixon of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Scott of Victoria; four grandchildren, John and Marty Lou Scott and Sue and Douglas Dixon and a number of nieces and nephews....

MRS. T.M. PRYOR
Mrs. T.M. PRYOR, 72, resident of Palestine for many years, died at 6:15 a.m. today after an illness of three months.
She was the widow of the late Thomas Moore PRYOR, Missouri Pacific Clerk who died 14 Sept 1950 and the Mother of Emmett Pryor, Palestine business man.
Born Oct 1, 1883 in Troup to the late Daniel D. and Rebecca MacKay Fox, she was a member of the first Baptist Church here and belonged to the T.E.L. Sunday school Class.
Funeral service will be held Thursday in the Hassell & Foster chapel with the Rev. John H. Parrott officiating. Burial will be in the New Addition Annex.......
Survivors besides her son here are her children, James M. Pryor, of Houston, Thomas M. Pryor, Jr., of Fort Worth, Brazelton Pryor of Dallas, Mrs. B.V. Jerral Taylor of Eagle Pass, and Mrs. Howard Bramley of Ballinger, 13 Grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

K.C. DOUGLAS
K.C. DOUGLAS, 67 year old farmer of Route 1, Elkhart, died at 2:55 a.m. today at his home following a long illness.
Born near Athens on Sept 20, 1889, he was the son of the late Edward Douglas and Mrs. Dot. Burden Douglas.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist Church of Elkhart with Rev. R.B. Bates, pastor, and Rev. Frank Richardson officiating burial will follow in pilgrim Cemetery near Elkhart.......
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Althea Driskill Douglas of Elkhart; three sons, Ralph Douglas of Big Spring, Leslie Douglas of Abilene, and Craig R. Douglas of Crane, TX. Six daughters, Mrs. V.R. Burnes of Abilene, Mrs. E.L. Cowan and Mrs. B.A. Raines, both of Big Spring, , Mrs. P.A. Rogers of Dallas, Mrs. J. A. Morris of Boerne, TX. and Mrs. W.R. Mulroy, JR. of Waco,TX. nine grandchildren, a niece and two nephews, Mrs. Jesse Bishop and Alfred Cooper, both of Elkhart, Porter Cooper of Dallas.....

RITES TUESDAY FOR ALBERT J. BRANSON
Funeral Service for Albert J. BRANSON, 69, of 305 W. Maffitt ST., will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Hassell & Foster Chapel with Rev. Otis Felton officiating. Burial will be in Judson Cemetery, Cayuga.
Pallbearers will be Joe Brock; James Brock; Wayne Brock ; Forest Crawford;
Charlie Parker; and J. Bostic.
Mr. BRANSON died following a long illness at 12:15 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital. He was born in Anderson County 4 August 1893 and was a bakery employee.
Survivors are his widow, MRS. Jewell BRANSON; three sons, Steve; Jimmy Joe and Jerry Wayne BRANSON; and one sister, MRS. Emma Feltman, all of Palestine.
The body will be at Hassell & Foster until service.

Funeral service for J.H. (Jim) LANGSTON, 65 of 1308 E. Hays, will be held Wed. at 3 p.m. in Hassell Foster Chapel with Rev Norman Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Fields Chapel Cemetery.......
Mr. Langston was born in Anderson County on Nov 11, 1900 to the late Hiram and Mary Hobson Langston. Prior to retirement in 1962, he was employed by Service Pipeline Co, A Methodist, he died Monday at 10:15 p.m. in a local hospital following a long illness.

GEORGE FELTMAN'S RITES SATURDAY
Funeral service for George FELTMAN, 58, of 710 Durham ST. will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Hassell Foster Chapel with the Rev. Farris and Rev. Leonard Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Broyles Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Forest E. Crawford; Burtis Crawford; George Crawford; Leon Franks; Jimmy Parks; and Forest G. Crawford.
Mr. Feltman was born at Rotan on 28 March 1908 to the late O.C. and Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth MOORE FELTMAN. Resident of Palestine for a number of years, he was a mechanic and a member of the Grace Tabernacle. He died today at 4:15 a.m. at his home following a long illness.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Emma BRANSON(M) FELTMAN of Palestine; A daughter, MRS. J.R. (Jewel) Parks of Palestine; three brothers, O.D. Feltman of San Angelo; a sister, MRS. M.W. Spence of Athens; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The body will be at Hassell & Foster.

MARY REES
Miss Mary REES, a retired employee of the Palestine Water Dept., died in a local hospital Thursday afternoon following a lengthily illness.
Funeral service are to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bailey Memorial chapel with DR. R.L. Badgett, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Hill Cemetery.
Miss Rees was born in Palestine 14 Aug 1889, a daughter of the late Clement and Rebecca Jane Brown Rees.
A life long member of the First Christian Church, she had lived all her life at the family home at 609 North Sycamore....
Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Donavan Moore of Palestine and Mrs. Byron McFarland of del Rio and several great nieces and nephews.
