Funeral for Jewel Holland, 91, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with the Rev. Richard Russell of Macedonia Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery, Etoile..
Holland died March 2, 2005, in Nacogdoches.
Born Feb. 9, 1914, in Etoile, she was the daughter of Daniel Taylor and Valerie Adelle Layton. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was married to Kelly Holland, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene King of Etoile; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today.

Nan Rhodes
Funeral for for Nan Rhodes, 85, of Palacios and formerly of San Augustine will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Presbyterian Church, San Augustine, with the Rev. John Alexander, Dr. Sam Wayman and the Rev. Rick Russell officiating. Burial will be in Rhodes Whispering Pines Family Cemetery, San Augustine County.
Rhodes died Feb. 28, 2005, in Palacios.
Born June 12, 1919, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Edwin B. Woodworth and Nell Doig. She was an interior designer. She was a member of the DRT and Memorial Presbyterian Church, San Augustine. She was married to Cyril N. Rhodes, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, John W. Lindabury; stepsons, Leon Rhodes and Wallace Rhodes; daughter, E. Gail Purvis; stepdaughters, Esther Monroe and Patrice Laughlin; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside service for Audrey Mae Goss, 82 of Colorado City will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Colorado City Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Brem, pastor of Oak Street Baptist Church, officiating.
Goss died Feb. 28, 2005, in San Augustine.
Born Dec. 19, 1922, in Wenatchee, Wash., she was the daughter of Clair Cecil and Georgia Lucecile Smith. She was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served as a registered nurse during World War II. She was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. She was married to Tom Jay Goss II, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, T.J. Goss of Nacogdoches, Don Goss of Port Lavaca, John Goss of San Antonio and James Goss of Hobbs, N.M.; stepdaughter, Mary Ann Thielen of Port Lavaca; brother, Don Smith of Cashmere, Wash.; sister, Joyce Clark of Cashmere; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service for Hunter Scott Belyeu, infant son of Randal Scott and Laura Marie Heathco Belyeu of Nacogdoches, will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Nat Cemetery the the Rev. Robert Easterling of Mahl Baptist Church officiating.
Hunter was born Feb. 15 and died March 1, 2005, in Houston, Texas.
In addition to his parents, survivors include grandparents, Sue and Randal Coker of Nacogdoches, Bethel Hickman of Corsicana, Bill Heathco Jr. of Corsicana; and great-grandmother, Marie Davis of Corsicana.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral for Maud Ardrey, 102, of San Augustine will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Garner Mortuary Chapel, San Augustine.
Ardrey died Feb. 27, 2005, in San Augustine Memorial Hospital, San Augustine.
She leaves a number of nieces and nephews.

Jones died Feb. 25, 2005, in Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.

Jones of Mesa, Ariz., Wilson Jones Sr., Calvin Jones and Morgan Jones, all of San Augustine; daughters, Margie Graham, Ida Pearl Jones and Farris Watson, all of Houston; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Born March 23, 1923, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Ora and Allie Mae Denton Danley. She was a member of White Rock Missionary Baptist Church. She was married to W.H. Polvadore, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons, Dexter Polvadore of Houston and Roy Polvadore of Center; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Born Nov. 3, 1925, she was the daughter of Frances H. and Ruth Hill Parkman. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Tenaha.
Survivors include her husband, Albert H. Burns of Tenaha; sons, Bob Burns of Tenaha and Barry Burns of Plano; daughter Linda Burns Andrews of Duncanville; a brother, Willard Parkman of Tenaha; sister, Lyndell P. Bush of Dallas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
