Evelyn Ann Watson, age 83 born to Henry and Annie (Sramek) Chudej in Moravia, Texas, died August 15, 2004.
After graduation from Moravia High School, she moved to San Antonio and attended business school.
She married John Ray Watson on December 23, 1942 and they made San Antonio their home. He preceded her in death in 1985.
Her entire working career was with firms in the Alamo National Building. She was secretary to Mr. William Spice and Mr. Regan Houston. Evelyn was an original member of the Desk and Derrick Club.
She attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed bingo, dancing, fishing and hunting.
She is survived by nieces, Jeannette (Jurecek) Dalton and Gladys (Chudej) Krenek and nephews, Jerome Jr., Nick and Henry Chudej and many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Violet M. Tomasovic
Born in St. Louis, MO on Nov. 18, 1912
Died Aug. 26, 2004 and resided in San Antonio, TX.

Mrs. Violet M. Tomasovic, a long time resident of San Antonio, Air Force Village I and the Health Care Center, passed away August 26, 2004.
She was born November 18, 1912, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Marie Martin.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Chaplain Col (Ret) Paul Tomasovic; her two sons, daughter, seven grandchildren, and two brothers: Dr/Col (Ret) Jerry Tomasovic and his wife, Carol and their children, Kathryn and Elizabeth, all of San Antonio, Texas. Col (Ret) Richard Tomasovic and his wife, Donna of Orlando, Florida, and their children, Jerry and his wife, Elaine of Tampa, Florida, and their daughter, Debbie, living in Oregon; Susan Tomasovic-Pearce and her sons, Scott, Tomas, and Timothy, all of Alexandria, Virginia; brothers, Ronald J. Martin and his wife, Carol, and Ray E. Spradling and his wife, Alberta, of St. Louis, Missouri; her sister, Estelle M. Frisch is deceased.
Chaplain and Mrs. Tomasovic were married at Markus Lutheran Church in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life in support of her husband's 30 year Air Force military career as a chaplain and his civilian Lutheran ministries.
She was very active as a volunteer, and received many meritorious awards as she served at various Air Force bases as President of the Officer's Wives' Club and Protestant Women of the Chapel, Chairman of the base American Red Cross and Family Services Center.
She frequently directed and taught the base Sunday School programs and sang in the choir.
She is beloved by her family as a nurturing and loving mother and grandmother.
Her family remains forever grateful for the extraordinary love, compassion, and care provided by all of the nursing staff at Air Force Village I Health Care Center.

Elaine Rosier

Died Nov. 2, 2004 and resided in San Antonio, TX.

Elaine Rosier, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 in San Antonio, TX.
She was a member of Castle Hills First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Edward “Ed” S. Rosier; son, Douglas E. Rosier and wife, Linda; daughter, Sharon Stratton and husband, Dan; daughter, Tricia Hern; six grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Graves and Emily Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Women’s Neighborhood Prayer Int’l., P.O. Box 46036, San Antonio, TX 78246.

Ibrahim David (Bram) Shirani, age 22, died Saturday, August 14, 2004. He was born and raised in San Antonio until his recent move to Colorado.
Bram was a 2000 graduate of Keystone School in San Antonio and a volunteer for Windcrest Fire Department. Recently he was employed as a Network Engineer with Northrop Grumman and was also a Certified Information System Security Professional.
Bram enjoyed playing Lacrosse and had lately developed an appreciation for snow skiing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Bram was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survive by his parents, Patricia and Khan Shirani; his sister, Alia; his brother, Benjamin; his aunts and uncles, Annie and Jim Flagg of Jacksonville, Florida andMarita and Ashraf Shirani of Castro Valley, California; three cousins, A. J. and Aaram Shirani and Matthew Flagg as well as many other family and friends who loved him dearly.

Dolores Vega Arangua, born in Monterrey, Mexico in 1914 passed away on to her Heavenly home at the age of 90 on January 16, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto Arangua.
She is survived by her sons, Roland Arangua and wife, Vicky, Gus Arangua and wife, Ruby; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of the Highlands Nursing Home for their loving care.

Michael Jon Maltrud

Michael Jon Maltrud, age 36, of San Antonio, TX died Thursday, December 16, 2004. Mike was an avid runner and was on a morning run when he collapsed and died.
Born in Wadena, MN, June 28, 1968. His family moved to Detroit Lakes, MN, where he grew up and graduated from high school in 1987. He was active in sports and music, an honor student, and a member of the National Honor Society.
He attended college at Trinity University, San Antonio, majoring in math. He continued his education there receiving a Masters in Teaching.
Mike taught math and computer science at Marshall High School in San Antonio for 10 years. For the past 3 years he was teaching computer science and pursuing his Masters and PhD degrees at the University of Texas, San Antonio.
He is survived by his parents, Carole and Paul Maltrud, Detroit Lakes, MN; brothers, Karl and wife Cheryl, Austell, GA and Paul and wife Annie, Cambridge, MN; sisters, Kathy, Andover, MN and Jill, St. Paul, MN and he was so loved by his girlfriend, Angela Dean of San Antonio. Additional survivors include niece, Amy; nephews, Erik, Rorik and Brodie; grandmother, Sylvia Nordberg, Minneapolis, MN; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and a wealth of close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John T. Nordberg, Brooklyn Center, MN and Herman and Louise Maltrud, Ada, MN.

Stacy Ann Seidler

Died Feb. 24, 2005 and resided in Shavano Park, TX.

Stacy Ann Seidler, age 24, beloved daughter, sister, and granddaughter, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2005.
Stacy was a graduate of Thomas C. Clark High School and the Nellie P. Reddix Center.
Stacy had a gentle, loving soul and was a friend to all. She brought warmth into the lives of everyone she met.
She will be missed by all of those who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her loving parents, Joan and Martin Seidler; her brother, Blake Jordan Seidler; her grandmother, Rosalie Gordon Ribnick; her grandparents, Marcel and Rosalind Seidler; her uncle, Stephen Gordon Ribnick; her great aunt, Sarah Berg; great uncle, Leo Gordon; and numerous cousins and friends.

Steven Aron Daly

Steven Aron Daly was born on June 1, 1961, in Santa Barbara, California. He passed away March 3, 2005 in San Antonio, Texas, where he made his home and worked in the computer world. He was 43.
Steven’s father was the late Gene L. Daly of Jacksonville, Oregon.
He leaves his mother, Beryl Arnold, and dad, Hank Arnold, of Medford, Oregon. He leaves his sister, Shelley Day and husband, Kevin, of Maple Valley, Washington; his sister, Debra Foster and husband, Ed, of Redding, California; his brother Scott Daly of Rogue River, Oregon; and his brother, John Arnold, serving in the Navy in Virginia. He also leaves three nephews, two nieces and two great nieces, many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Steven was a graduate of Shasta High School and on the Dean’s list as a 4.0 student in Redding, California. He worked for Sears in Redding before entering the U.S. Air Force, where he served for many years.
He was an avid motorcyclist and loved the sport.
He had many friends. He was a loving son and brother. Uncle Bubba Steve loved his nieces, nephews and all his family.
