Luanne Rae McDonald of Maryville, daughter of the late Roy and Dolores Kinder and Jean Kinder of Washington, Pa., was united in marriage with John Paul Hatcher of Maryville, son of Lynn and Vicky McNally of Maryville, May 15 at St. John United Methodist Church. Paul B. Longmire officiated.
The bride was escorted by her long - time friend, Dean Hawley.
Nikki Mounts of Washington, Pa., was maid of honor. Kristen Hyatt kept the bride's book.
Flower girl was Stacey. Jimmy was ring bearer.
A memory candle was lit in loving memory of Roy and Dolores Kinder, Troal and Faye Gaus, Isaac Kinder, Paul Campbell, Reva McNally and Jonas Hatcher.
A reception given by Vicky McNally was held at the church following the ceremony. Assisting hostesses were Yvonne Carr, Tracy Johnson and Bobbie Campbell. After a wedding cruise, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a graduate of McGuffey High School in Pennsylvania. She is employed at Cerama Speed, Maryville.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Alcoa High School. He is employed at K&B Toys.

Moss - Schrimpf (2004 June 08)
Julie Elizabeth Schrimpf of Arlington, Va., daughter of John Schrimpf and Dee Roman, both of Dayton, Ohio, was united in marriage with Robert ``Bobby" Johnson Moss of Arlington, Va., son of Joel and Beverlie Moss of Maryville, May 1 at Normandy United Church in Dayton, Ohio. The Rev. Larry Dial of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and the Rev. Tom Harry of Dayton, Ohio, officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by organist Craig Davis of Cincinnati.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an off - white, sleeveless gown made with an overlay of beaded organza with single layer, fingertip - length veil. She carried a hand - tied bouquet of blue hyacinths surrounded by white lilies of the valley.
Amy Hennig of Elk Grove Village, Ill., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a pink, sleeveless dress with a slight ruffle detailing the neck and hem and carried a hand - tied bouquet of white hyacinths surrounded by white lilies of the valley.
Greeters were Amy Schrimpf of Kettering, Ohio, and Susan Davis of Cincinnati. Robin Bowers of Sweetwater kept the bride's book.
Joel Moss of Maryville, father of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were John Schrimpf Jr. of Kettering, Ohio, Brian Hennig of Elk Grove Village, Ill., Chris Bowers of Sweetwater and Ben Roman of New York.
A reception given by the parents of the bride was held at NCR Country Club in Dayton, Ohio.
After a wedding trip to Grand Cayman Islands, the couple are living in Arlington, Va.
The bride is a graduate of Archbishop Alter High School, Dayton, Ohio; Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition; the University of Cincinnati with a Master of Science degree in nutrition; and Florida State University with a Ph.D. in food science/nutrition. She is employed by the Food and Drug Administration in College Park, Md.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Heritage High School; Roane State Community College in Harriman; the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology; and Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md., with a Master of Science degree in bio - technology. He is employed by Advanced Bio - Nutrition in Columbia, Md.

Rhoades - Ray (2003 September 30)
Erin Nicole Ray of Bristol, daughter of Rodney and Ruth Ann Ray of Maryville, was united in marriage with Bryan Rhoades of Bristol, son of Stephen and Joanna Rhoades of Sandyville, W.Va., May 31 in Bristol. The Rev. Stephen Rhoades officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by pianist Mary Ann Salyer and soloists Heather Rhoades and Rob Adams.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown designed by Maggie Sottero of formal white satin featuring a strapless bodice and A - line skirt that swept into a cathedral - length train. It was adorned with re - embroidered Venice lace across the bust line, down the center of the skirt and around the hem. She wore a fingertip veil of white illusion highlighted with re - embroidered flowers around the trim. Her tiara was composed of seed pearls and lavender crystals on a silver background. She carried a cascading bouquet of yellow Gerbera daisies, pink and white roses, freesia, lisianthus, purple roses and waxflowers.

Amanda Young of West Chester, Ohio, was maid of honor. She wore a straight, tea - length sheath of burgundy knit with cap sleeves and carried calla lilies, tulips and carnations.
