Tonia Mae Lynn of Maryville, daughter of Randy and Phyllis Thomas of Louisville, was united in marriage with Nicholas Scott McCarter, son of Charles and Delores McCarter of Maryville, July 12 at Old Piney Grove Baptist Church. Gary Farmer officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by Paul and Cristina Chapman.
Escorted by her mother, the bride wore a long, sleeveless white gown with beads and pearls in the front and a long train. Her veil, hand - made by her mother and aunt, was long and held in place with a crown. She carried a bouquet of different types of flowers in mixed colors with stargazer lilies in the center.
Sonia Lynn of Knoxville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Holly Weaver of Louisville, Jennifer Dockery of Louisville, Heather Jenkins of Maryville and Kelly McCarter of Greenback. Junior bridesmaid was Brittany Thomas of Louisville. They wore long, sleeveless dresses in pastel shades of purple, pink, blue, yellow, Victorian blue and light green and carried bouquets similar to the bride's.
Savanna McCarter was flower girl. She wore a white dress with different colors of flowers on it.
Blake Kirby was ring bearer. Jessica Ion kept the bride's book.
Casey Belcher of Maryville was best man. Groomsmen were Richard Wilson of Maryville, Freddy Reagan of Maryville, Matt Wester of Knoxville and Bryan Boring of Maryville.
A reception given by their parents was held at McCord's Farm. Assisting hostesses were Kathy Keller, Ondia McCally, Amber Kirby, Courtney Cushman and Amy Emert.
After a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is pursuing an associate's degree at Pellissippi State Technical Community College. She is customer service manager at Wal - Mart.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Heritage High School. He is a production associate at Denso.

White - Majors (2003 September 23)
Melissa Majors, daughter of Cecillia Ann Russell of Knoxville, was united in marriage with Jeffrey D. White, son of Birch and Edith White of Tallassee, Aug. 30 at Latter Day Saints Church, Maryville. Bishop Jim Hensley officiated.
The bride was escorted by her son, Dusty Majors.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Nanny V. Cross.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Bertha White of Tallassee, the late Hoyt White and the late Ross C. and Susie Boring.

Stucker - Kineman (2003 September 23)
Kacie Jo Kineman, daughter of David and Vivian Kineman of Maryville, was united in marriage with Seth Lee Stucker, son of Bill and Glenda Stucker of Chittenango, N.Y., Aug. 2 at Blount Christian Church. Monte Smith of New York officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by pianist Steve Radford and soloists Bruce Stott and the bride, who sang to the bridegroom.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white strapless dress with satin bodice and organza skirt, beaded lace appliqués and semi - cathedral train. She wore a white fingertip - length, waterfall veil layered with scattered crystal drops, a large crystal tiara with triple marquis center and necklace and earrings to match. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses accented with royal blue stephanotis.
Kristin Dewine of Walland was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Cook and Leslea Morton, both of Maryville, and Sarah Reece of Knoxville. They wore cobalt blue, duchess satin, sleeveless dresses with empire waists, beaded embroidery on the bodices and slim, A - line skirts with tiny buttons down the back zipper. They carried nosegays of multi - colored summer flowers accented with royal blue assorted flowers.
Emily Burgess was flower girl. Noah Nokes was ring bearer. Ashley Wilkerson kept the bride's book.
Robert Madrid of Chittenango, N.Y., was best man. Groomsmen were Steven Eagle of Chittenango, N.Y., Ike Kineman of Maryville, brother of the bride, and Richard Waid of Maryville.
A reception given by the parents of the bride was held at Green Meadow Country Club. Assisting hostesses were Charlene Gross and Brenda Sharp.
After a wedding trip to Destin, Fla., the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of William Blount High School and attended one year at Johnson Bible College, Kimberlin Heights. She is preparing to enter Walters State Nursing Program. She is employed as a CNA at East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Chittenango High School, attended one year at Onondauga Community College in Syracuse, N.Y., one year at Lincoln Christian College E. Coast in Bel Air, Md., and one year at Johnson Bible College in Kimberlin Heights. He is preparing to enter Walters State Nursing Program. He is employed as a CNA at East Tennessee Children's Hospital.

Waters - Eggers (2003 September 23)
Melanie Dawn Eggers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Eggers Jr. of Maryville, was united in marriage with Andy Christopher Waters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gale R. Waters of Maryville, Aug. 15 at Zion Chapel Baptist Church. The Rev. Clarence Byrd officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by pianist Jim Everett, organist Lori Everett and vocalist Craig Sellers.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white, straight - line beaded dress with halter neckline and detachable sheer train. She carried 12 white roses with greenery tied with a black ribbon.
Carolyn Houk of Maryville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Reagan of Maryville, cousin of the bride, and Amanda Segars of Maryville. They wore black, floor - length, sleeveless A - line dresses with square necks and matching neck sashes and carried six white roses with greenery tied with black ribbon.

After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple are living in Maryville.
