Helton - Fielden (2003 July 14)
Natalie Rachel Fielden, daughter of Vicki and Gary Glardon of Maryville, was united in marriage with Robert William Helton, son of Janet Helton of Chattanooga, June 28 in the gardens of St. Johns Drive. The Rev. Jeff Wadley officiated.
The bride, escorted by her father, Gary Glardon, made her entrance in a horse - drawn white carriage. She wore a strapless white gown with a jeweled brocade bodice. Her fingertip veil was accented with rhinestones and organza trim and was held in place with a pearl and jeweled tiara. She carried a bouquet of white roses, coral rosebuds and blue dianthus.
Laura Hopson of Maryville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Bostic and Peggy Leonard of Knoxville. They wore coral satin, floor - length gowns with organza drape bodices and carried summer bouquets of daisies and coral rosebuds accented with violets.
Brently Garner, daughter of Steve and Stephanie Garner and granddaughter of Joann and Larry Garner, was flower girl. Laura Fielden, sister of the bride, attended the guest registry and handed out fresh flower petals to toss at the celebration ceremony.
Wes Helton of Chattanooga, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Brian Daughtery and Travis Wright of Chattanooga. Ushers were Taylor Fielden, brother of the bride, Josh Combs and Chris Washington.
A reception given by the parents of the bride was held at the gardens of St. Johns Drive.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple are living in Franklin.

Benson - Hicks (2003 July 14)
Jennifer Paige Hicks of Louisville, daughter of Edward H. Hicks of Louisville and Terry A. Hicks of Maryville, was united in marriage with Jared Travis Benson, son of Donald and Camilla Benson of Maryville, May 23 at Crescent Bend, Armstrong - Lockett House. The Rev. Matthew Benson officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by Farr Horizons.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless Yolanda Couture ball gown made of white silk with a dropped, pleated waist and sweep train. She wore a double - tier veil and carried a hand - tied bouquet of hot pink and pale pink roses.
Michele Farris of Walland and Brooke Combest of Maryville, cousin of the bride, were matrons of honor. Groomsmen were Marshall Benson of Maryville, brother of the bridegroom, Neil Hicks of Louisville, brother of the bride, Brad Hicks of Louisville, brother of the bride, Chris Dalton, Jason LaRue and Jeremy Snow, all of Maryville, and Terry Tinsley of Rockford.
A reception given by the parents of the bride and bridegroom was held at Crescent Bend Gardens.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a graduate of William Blount High School. She is employed by the law firm of Robertson and Overbey.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Heritage High School and the University of Tennessee. He is employed by Jameson Builders, Inc.

Roddy - Taylor (2003 July 14)
Tara Nicole Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry K. Taylor of Louisville, was united in marriage with Russell Vinsant ``Rusty" Roddy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Roddy of Knoxville, June 7 at Immaculate Conception Church, Knoxville. Father Alex Waraksa officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by trumpeter Jayme Taylor of Knoxville, brother of the bride, and a string quartet led by Bill Robinson of Maryville.
Due to the bride's father's sudden illness, the bride was escorted half - way down the aisle by her mother and the remaining half by her brother, Jayme Taylor.
The bride wore a two - piece, strapless, white satin gown with a ribbon - laced bodice and accented with pearls and embroidered design. Her halo of sequins and pearls was accomplanied by an elbow - length, pearl - accented veil. She carried a bouquet of four dozen hand - tied gathered yellow roses.

After an 11 - day wedding trip to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple are living in Knoxville.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She is currently employed with Summit Title Company in Knoxville.

Nuptial music was provided by pianist Mary Ellen Neff, organist Mary Helms and vocalists Paul Watkins, Drexel Tiller, Bobbie Martin Howell, Nancy French Morgan and Nellie Stanley.
