Their family includes children Susan and David Capps, Patti Lawson and Kenneth Ray Lawson Jr., all of Maryville. Their grandchildren are Brent Capps of Maryville and the late Ralph L. Capps II.
Mr. Lawson is a retired steelworker. Mrs. Lawson is a retired housekeeper from Hillhaven Nursing Home.
They are members of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Leslie and Janie (Teffeteller) Teffeteller of Maryville are celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary today.
The couple were married
March 1, 1948, in Rossville, Ga.
Their family includes children Harold Teffeteller, Donald Teffeteller, Sandy Everett and Sharon Harveston. They have seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Teffeteller is retired from Maryville College after 49 years of service. Mrs. Teffeteller is director of Houston Memorial Day Care, where she has been for 21 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Teffeteller are members of Pecks Memorial United Methodist Church. They love to spend time with their family.

Leroy and Fay (Gilland) Rogers of Maryville will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary March 3 by having dinner with friends at Aubrey's Restaurant.

Their family includes sons Randy of Alcoa and Phil of California. They have one grandchild.
Mr. Rogers is retired from Blackwood Insurance Agency. Mrs. Rogers is retired from Gillespie & Sherrod.
Mr. Rogers is active in veterans' affairs. Both Mr. and Mrs. Rogers enjoy following their grandson's activities and University of Tennessee athletics.

The couple were married
Feb. 29, 1956, in Knoxville.
Their family includes children Toni Sudderth of Stone Mountain, Ga., Terry Sudderth and wife Donna of Rockford and Renee Sudderth of Stone Mountain, Ga. They have two grandchildren, Ashley Sudderth and Lamont Harper.
Mr. Sudderth is retired from the Alcoa Police Department, the first African-American to be hired by Alcoa and the first policeman to retire in 1990. He is currently employed as a U.S. Marshall in Knox County Federal Court. Mrs. Sudderth was employed by Levi Strauss, Allied Chemical and Blount Memorial Hospital, from where she retired.
Mr. Sudderth is a member of Mt. Pleasant in Rockford and Mrs. Sudderth is a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Alcoa. Both love to travel.
Donald and Kimberly (Hawk) Best of Maryville celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Feb. 19.

Feb. 19, 1981.
Their family includes children Brandi Best and Tonya Best.
Mr. Best is employed at Mastercraft Boat Company. Mrs. Best is a caregiver.
