Allyson Fay Fliegner is engaged to marry Bret Edward Hill at 3 p.m. March 26 at Unity Baptist Church. Invitations have been sent.
The future bride is the daughter of Carl and Deborah Fliegner of Maryville. She is the granddaughter of Delbert and Dorothy York of Knoxville and the late Carl and Fay Fliegner.
The future bridegroom is the son of Eddie and Phyllis Hill of Maryville. He is the grandson of Leon and Johnnie Sparks of Townsend, Kate Hill of Maryville and the late Rev. Henry Hill.
The bride-to-be moved to Blount County from Charleston, S.C. She is employed by Clayton Homes (Communities Group).
The bridegroom-to-be is a native of Maryville. He is lead assistant manager of Food City in Maryville.
Deanna Kathryn Esposito of Knoxville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Esposito of Augusta, Ga., was united in marriage with Steven Ross Wilson of Townsend, son of Kay Hill of Tupelo, Miss., and William D. Wilson of Townsend, March 12 at Lakemont Presbyterian Church, Augusta, Ga. The Rev. Jack Jagoditsch officiated.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless gown of white Italian satin featuring crystals and beads raining from the neckline and accenting the hem. Her two-tiered veil was trimmed in rolled satin edges and cascaded to her fingertips. Her bouquet consisted of white roses and tulips with a hint of pink.
Brenner Louise Wicker of Augusta, Ga., cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Michelle Smoak of Augusta, Ga., and Gretchen Scarbrough Steketee of Surf City, N.C. They wore two-piece ensembles with a diamond white top paired with pink gingham tea-length skirts and carried bouquets of pink and yellow tulips.
Hailey Elise Wilson, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Joseph Aaron Vananda of Townsend was best man. Groomsmen were William Chad Wilson of Maryville, brother of the bridegroom, and Anthony Vincent Esposito of Charlottesville, Va., brother of the bride.
A reception given by the parents of the bride was held at the Old Government House in Augusta, Ga.
After a wedding trip to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Georgia and received a master's degree from the University of Tennessee. She is employed by The Salvation Army as the regional resource development director.
