Merriman - Long (2002 November 25)
Kristin Brooke Long, daughter of Keith and Donna Long of Maryville, was united in marriage with Tim C. Merriman, son of Skip and Doris Merriman of Maryville, Oct. 19 at Springview Baptist Church. Toby Downey and Ben Ward officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by Mary Lynn Gredig and Carolyn Buch.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown with a scoop neckline and cap sleeves. The bodice was beaded with pearl and sequins and the Basque waistline gave way to a full skirt with a cathedral train featuring layers of cascading ruffles. A pearl and rhinestone silver tiara was accented with a two - layer fingertip veil made by the bride's mother. The bride carried a cascade of lilies, calla lilies and roses in beautiful fall colors.
Tracie Tipton of Maryville was maid of honor. Paula Merriman of Maryville, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. They wore black satin, A - line dresses with spaghetti straps and split sides revealing underskirts of white satin and tulle.
Nicci Webb was flower girl. Brandon Kagley was ring bearer. Erin Ray and Amanda Farr kept the bride's book.
Jim Merriman of Maryville, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsman was Brad Long of Maryville, brother of the bride.
A reception given by the parents of the bride was held in the church fellowship hall. Assisting hostesses were Debbie Ingle, Erin Ray, Rose Reed, Tammy Sowders and Amanda Farr.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of William Blount High School and a 2002 graduate of Pellissippi State Technical Community College with a degree in business management. She is a financial services representative at Citizens Bank of Blount County.
The bridegroom is an owner of Merriman's Excavating and Merriman's Septic Tank Company.

McCampbell - Hitch (2002 November 19)
Holly Ann Hitch, daughter of Jack and Peggy Hitch of Maryville, was united in marriage with Will Martin McCampbell, son of Ray and Bonnie McCampbell of Townsend, Sept. 14 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church in Townsend. The Rev. Jack Hitch, father of the bride, officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by pianist Jason Sullivan, violinist Reanna Franklin and vocalist Kelley Stout.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an Alfred Angelo two - piece gown of white satin with crystal, beaded straps, a princess - line bodice enhanced with crystal and pearl beading and a lace - up back. The gown featured a full, princess - line skirt with back pleats and a semi - cathedral train. The cathedral - length veil was made of bridal illusion tulle and attached with a crystal - embedded tiara. The bride carried a hand - tied bouquet of deep red tea roses surrounded by greenery and a white organdy bow.
Kelli Huskey of Sevierville, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa McCampbell of Townsend, sister of the bridegroom, Kim Hembree of Walland and Shila Newman of Rockford. They wore formal - length dresses of deep red duchess satin and matching crystal necklaces. They carried hand - tied bouquets of blush and white floral stock.
Jenna Rose Huskey, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Evan Huskey, nephew of the bride, was Bible carrier. Jheri Beth Wear kept the bride's book.
Ray McCampbell of Townsend, father of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Hugh Myers of Walland, grandfather of the bridegroom, Shawn Myers of Walland, cousin of the bridegroom and John Sullivan of Townsend.
A reception given by the parents of the bride was held at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, the couple are living in Townsend.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Heritage High School and a 1999 graduate of Carson Newman College with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She is employed as a sixth, seventh and eighth grade English teacher at Wearwood Elementary School in Sevier County.
The bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Heritage High School and a 1997 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and international management. He is owner and operator of Apple Valley Riding Stables in Townsend.

Brackin - Breeden (2002 November 19)
Lori Ann Breeden, daughter of Glenn and Johnnie Breeden of Sweetwater, was united in marriage with Dennis Lynn Brackin Jr., son of Dennis L. Brackin Sr. of Maryville and the late Judy A. Brackin, Oct. 25 in a private ceremony with family and friends. Greg Brackin officiated.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mary Lou Breeden and the late J.R. Breeden and Helen Raper and the late Cecil Raper.
The bridegroom is the grandson of John and Freddie Brackin, Ruth Ledbetter and the late Toye Ledbetter.

Hermann - Larsen (2002 November 19)
Deborah Lynne Larsen of Prairie Village, Kan., daughter of Cynthia J. Larsen of Louisville, Ky., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Larsen of Maryville, was united in marriage with Brian Peter Hermann of Prairie Village, Kan., son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter R. Hermann of Leawood, Kan., Sept. 14 at New Providence Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Emily Anderson and Fr. Alex Waraksa officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by organist Peggy Rogers and Dogwood Strings.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white, short - sleeved dress with silver beading and a chapel - length train. She wore a two - tiered elbow - length veil and carried two dozen white roses tied with a white ribbon.
Tara Truesdale of Chicago was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were McKenna Cox of Knoxville, Meredith Wilson of Stillwater, Okla., and Emily Hermann of Leawood, Kan. Honorary bridesmaid was Tonya Smith of Lugoff, S.C. Attendants wore short - sleeved, floor - length navy dresses with empire waists and beading at the waists and sleeves. They carried clutch bouquets of Minuet roses tied with silver ribbon.

Bryan Hackett of Wayne, N.J., was best man. Groomsmen were Robert W. Larsen of Greenville, S.C., Kevin Hermann of Leawood, Kan., and David Hermann of Leawood, Kan.
A reception given by the family of the bride was held at Green Meadow Country Club.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple are living in Prairie Village, Kan.
The bride is a graduate of Columbia College in South Carolina. She is teaching eighth grade science in Kansas City, Mo.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He is a graduate student at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
