Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 4, 2003, at Spann Funeral Home Chapel, Dickson, with Bro. Glenn O'Kain, Bro. Carl Hubbard and Bro. Harold Batson officiating. Interment
was in Jackson Chapel cemetery, nieces and nephews served as pallbearers.
He is survived by his wife, Mai Sinks Jackson of Charlotte; father, Ray Jackson of Charlotte; two sons, Tim Jackson (Barbara) of Charlotte and Terry Jackson (Tonya) of Charlotte; brother, Bobby Jackson (Sue) of Joelton, two sisters, Toni Beard (Jim) of Old Hickory and Melonee Jackson of Nashville; four granddaughters, Cassie, Kayla, Tahlor and Summer Jackson of Charlotte, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Beatrice Paulette Jinnett
Beatrice Paulette Jinnett, 53, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at Centennial Medical Center in Ashland City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Woodard and Buena Miller Woodard.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Harvey Jinnett Jr. of Ashland City, son Gregory (Sharbea) Jinnett of Pleasant View; daughter, Deanna Jinnett of Hendersonville; brothers, Roger Woodard of Kentucky and Robert Woodard of Nashville; sisters, Sarah Binkley and Johnnie (Cecil) Louallen, both of Ashland City; Maidell Thompson of Springfield, Sue Dawson and Waydene Woodard, both of Ashland City, three grandchildren, Channing Riley, Darrel Riley Jr. and Laken Riley.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Boyd Funeral Home with Tim Binkley officiating. Burial was in the Mallorys cemetery in Chapmansboro. Friends and family served as pallbearers.
Boyd Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
Bertha May Mitchell
Bertha May Mitchell, 63, of Goodlettsville, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, at Skyline Medical Center. Miss Mitchell was born July 7, 1940 in Davidson County to the late James Polk and Alice Mary Marie "Mama Curly" Dillaha Mitchell. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral Services were conducted Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, at 1 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with David W. Jones and Tim Harris officiating. The interment
followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville.
She is survived by her brothers, Roy Mitchell of Smyrna, Bobby Mitchell of Greenbrier, Burton "Dickie" Mitchell of Ashland City; sisters, Mary Louise Jones of Ashland City and Geraldine Thomas of Mt. Juliet; aunts, Elizabeth Dillaha, Lorraine Dillaha and Ann Dillaha, all of Springfield.

Georgia Ruth Sartain
Georgia Ruth Sartain, 69, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2002, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Ashland City.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Ellen Patterson.
She is survived by her sons, Don and Keith Sartain; a daughter, Nancy Sartain; a brother, James (Maggie) Patterson of Virginia; loving niece, Debbie (Mike) Sanders of Pleasant View; Michael, Christopher and Wendy all of Virginia.
Services were held graveside on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View at 10 a.m. with Brother George Clark officiating. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Edward Bennett Smith
Edward Bennett Smith, 87, a faithful member of the Judson Baptist Church and a retired freight agent for the L & N Railroad, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Lakeshores Retirement and Nursing Communities-Wedgewood in Nashville.
He was preceded in death by is parents, William Belfield Smith and Mary Etta (Fambrough) Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia E. Smith of Nashville; sons, John Edward Smith and Larry (Beverly) Smith, both of Nashville; daughter, Billie Sue Smith of Nashville; brother, William L. Smith of Nashville; four grandchildren: Stephanie (Arran) Addington, Steven Edward Smith, Timothy Bennett Smith and Katherine Denise Smith.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. Bro. Johnnie Hall officiated. Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers. Burial was in the Smith-Neptune cemetery in Ashland City.

Allen Ray Binkley Sr.
Allen Ray Binkley Sr., 66, died Aug. 5, 2003, at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville. Mr. Binkley was born Nov. 20, 1936, in Davidson County. He was a mechanic.
Remains were at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, where the services were conducted Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, with Bro. Cecil Boswell and Bro. Gene Parton officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Roy and Mary Helen Molton Binkley; brothers, Billy and Mike Binkley; sisters, Nellie Crossland and Margie Carver.
He is survived by wife, Aline Krantz Binkley, Ashland City; sons, Gary (Lena) Binkley, Allen (Tina) Binkley, Buddy (Gail) Binkley, Jerry Binkley, Leroy (April) Binkley; daughters, Glenda (Donnie) Vondohlen, Sherry (Larry) Deal; grandchildren, Cindy Chiffin, Gary Binkley Jr., Donnie Vondohlen Jr., Renea Bean, Larry Deal Jr., Carrie Bradbury, Angel Binkley-Yearta, Corey "Bubba" Binkley, Dee Odom, April Netherton, Amber Binkley, Dylan Binkley, Shelby Binkley; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold, Kenneth, Charlie, Larry and Dave Binkley; sisters, Ana Ruth Gregory, Patsy McMurtry.

Myra "Louise" Crotzer
Myra "Louise" Crotzer, 87, Ashland City, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Ashland City. She was born in Montgomery County, Sept. 3, 1915, the daughter of the late Floyd and Ruby Smith Henley. She was a homemaker and a member of Ashland City Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel with Rev. Charley Carmack officiating. Pallbearers: Gary Henley, Tony Henley, Tim Hunter, Tommy Hughes Jr., Kenny Crotzer, Danny Holder, Josh Tanzil, R.D. Crotzer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Joyce Baker.
She is survived by sons, Charles Crotzer of Mabank, Texas, Donald Crotzer of Chapmansboro, and Richard Crotzer of Tulsa, Okla.; daughters, Linda Dilley of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Nancy Hughes of Brazil; brother, Jimmy Henley of Clarksville; and sister Polly Cox of Clarksville, four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Ashland City Free Will Baptist Church in her memory.

Patsy Jean Orange
Patsy Jean Orange, 51, of Ashland City entered into eternal rest at her home Sunday night, Aug. 18, 2003. She was a member of the Stroudsville Church of Christ, a homemaker and mother. She was born in Clarksville on July 4, 1952, the daughter of Alberta Hall Selph, and the late Mitchell Selph.
A memorial service was held Thursday afternoon, Aug. 21, 2003, at the Stroudsville Church of Christ.
Her father, Mitchell Selph and a brother, Dwight Selph, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Buford Orange, of Ashland City; one daughter Alisha Orange Belcher, of Clarksville; two grandsons; her mother, Alberta Hall Selph; three sisters, Vickey Johnson and Cindy Selph, both of Nashville and Lisa Stuard of Clarksville; and a brother, Mickey Selph, of Pleasant View.
In lieu of other remembrances, memorial contributions may be made to the Stroudsville Church of Christ.
Grady Lee Raymer
Grady Lee Raymer, 82, of Joelton, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, at Mariner Health Care, Nashville. He was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church for over 60 years and was a retired Trustee, he was a World War II Army veteran and retired from the U.S. government.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 12:30-8 p.m. at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home in Joelton; services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Barry Simpson and Bro. Vernon Barker officiating. Honorary pallbearers were New Hope Sanctuary Sunday School Class. Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews, Jeremy, Nathanael, Andrew and Adam Raymer, Randy Drake, Jeff Binkley, Troy Binkley, Zack Horton; interment

He is survived by wife, Ruth Grimes Raymer; children, Glenda Raymer, Patrick Lee (Becky) Raymer, Joelton, Penny (John) Horton, Nashville, four grandsons, four step-grandchildren, one great-grandson, one great-granddaughter; sisters, Betty Ford, Tula Rediker, Jeanne Binkley, Danie Yaney; special and devoted friend Thomas Henning; several nieces and nephews.

Donald Ray Taylor
Donald Ray Taylor, 50, passed away at his home on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Aug. 25, 2003, at 1 p.m. from the Cheatham County Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Gerald Pryor and Brother Dean Campbell. Burial followed in the Streets cemetery in Franklin. Family served as pallbearers.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Robert and Elise Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Gwin Felts Taylor; three sons, John Taylor of New York; Billy Sanders of Linden; Jimmy Sanders of Linden; two daughters, Rachel Taylor of New York, Hannah Taylor of New York; two brothers, Kenneth Taylor of Ashland City, and Ricky Taylor of Ashland City; four sisters, Linder Pinkerton of Nashville, Gloria Biggs of Ashland City; Sherry Biggs of Ashland City, Nelda Taylor of Ashland City and four grandchildren.
