Margaret Marie Adams, 74, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2003, at Centennial Medical Center in Ashland City.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Adams Sr. of Ashland City; sons: Bruce (Ella) Russell of Clarksville, Gary (Barbara) Russell of Bon Aqua and Eddie (Beth) Adams of Clarksville; daughters, Bonnie (Wayne) Hogan of Nashville and Kaye Cowley of Ashland City; brothers: Richard (Annie) Gregory and Jimmie (Betsy) Gregory both of Nashville; sisters, Mary Armour and Pauline Joyce, both of Murfreesboro, plus 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Nova Spivey Gregory and her son, Danny Russell.
Visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at 2 p.m. at the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland City with Bro. Mike Dankson and Bro. Terry Forrest officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel cemetery in Ashland City. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Evelena Anderson
Evelena Anderson, 79, died Sept. 15, 2003.
She was preceded in death by husband, Marion Anderson and son, Clayton Anderson.
She is survived by four grandchildren: Tony Anderson of Joelton, Troy (Terry) Anderson of Ashland City, Vickie (Michael) Wheeler of Nashville and Nena Anderson of Joelton, five great-grandchildren; sisters: Novella Mayo, Elsie Craft, both of Joelton and Eileen Binkley of Ashland City; brother, Billy Krantz of Dickson.
Remains are at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, by Bro. Johnny Harris. Pallbearers: family and nephews; Interment: Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17.

James H. Gregory of Cedar Hill passed away on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003.
He is survived by his mother, Virgie Floyd, Ashland City; sons, Bobby (Alice) Chandler of Pleasant View and J. R. Gregory of Clarksville; daughters, Charlene Gregory of Clarksville, Lisa Gregory, Pleasant View, Crystal Gregory, Nashville; brother, Jeff Gregory of Lavergne; sisters, Carolyn Repath of Nashville, Charlene Russell, Lavergne, Connie Guill of Clarksville.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of the Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Copeland officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Sharon cemetery, Robertson County. Pallbearers were Jeff Johnson, Randy Laney, James Croslin, Jeff Boher, Tom Guill, James Brogdon.

Tom Howard Hurt
Tom Howard Hurt, 59, Ashland City, passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville. He was born July 12, 1944, in Nashville, the son of the late Ernest D. and Nona Belle Cox Hurt. He was a wire drawer for Nashville Wire Products, Nashville. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by wife, Shirley Scruggs Hurt, Ashland City; daughter, Michelle (Doug) Stout; step-children: Wayne (Debbie) Rigsby, Michael (Kelly) Rigsby, Steve (Tammy) Rigsby, Mark and David Rigsby, Sherry (Daryl) Price, 20 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Bill) Hayes; brother, Joe (Sharon) Hurt, Wade (Doris) Hurt, George Hurt.
Remains was at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, where the service was held Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, with Bro. Cecil Boswell officiating. Pallbearers: Chris, Michael, Jackie, Stephen, Mark and David Rigsby, Daryl Price, Brad Stubbs. Burial was in the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens, Mt. Juliet.

Kimberly Boone Knox
Kimberly Boone Knox, 32, died Sept. 12, 2003, at Centennial Medical Center in Ashland City.
She is survived by her parents, John C. Boone and Kathie Reeves of Chapmansboro; three sons: Stephen Knox Jr., Nicholas Knox and Joseph Skyler Lumley, all of Ashland City; brothers: Jonathan Boone of St. Peterburg, Fla., Elton Reeves of Ashland City, Jacob Reeves of Cedar Hill, James "Butch" (Jennifer) Reeves of Brentwood and one sister Julia (David) Batte of Chapel Hill.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lampley Boone.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Boyd Funeral Home with Carl Richardson officiating. Burial was in the Lampley cemetery in Fairview. Active pallbearers: Adam Knight, Donnie Sullivan, Ronnie McNeil, Elton Reeves and James Reeves.

Grace Lucille Lee
Grace Lucille Lee, 76, passed away on Sept. 11, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Walker, her mentor, Miss Jane Head, and her mother, Mary Binkley.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert R. Lee; her children: Dick (Nancy) Walker, Jim (Teresa) Lee, Janie (Felix) Tejeda, Gary (Teresa) Lee, and Polly (Shaw) Fulton; grandchildren: Michelle Walker, Rick Walker, Ryan Tejeda, Frank Tejeda, Janet Lee, Bobbie Green, Jamie Lee, Paula Lee, Stacey Fortner, Brandon Davis and Brandi Whitt; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Thelma (Charles) Culwell and Mildred Weaks; devoted friend and caregiver, Dorothy Perry.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at 2 p.m. at the Clarksville Highway Church of Christ with Brother Johnny Harris officiating. Pallbearers were her grandsons and Ricky Lee. Honorary pallbearers were Joe and Peggy Cloud, Carl and Gloria Chambliss and James and Olean Atkins. Burial was at the Spring Hill cemetery in Madison on Monday, Sept. 15, 2003, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory can be sent to the Ashland City Senior Citizens Center and to the Alive Hospice, 110 Patterson Street, Nashville.

Laura Lee Smith Beard Lee
Laura Lee Smith Beard Lee, 43, passed away on Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Fendrix and Mabel Smith and her brother, Daniel Glenn Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Landon Lee; her mother Pat Smith of Ashland City; her father Wayne (Gail) Smith of Lebanon; her children, Christopher Beard of Little Rock, Ark., Nikki Leann Beard of Atlanta, Ga., Colin and Casey Lee of Portland; a brother, Gary Smith of Portland; maternal grandparents, Norman and Margaret Stadler of Warren, Mich.; a niece, Carrie Smith; and by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Cheatham County Funeral Home with Rick Beard doing the euology with prayer given by Derek Bats. Pallbearers were Ronnie Smith, Eddie Steele, David Pardue, Pat Gupton, Jim Finney, Jerry Smith and Bryan Shearon. Honorary pallbearers were Rick Stadler and Harold Brown. Grover C. Anderson
Grover C. Anderson, 80, died Aug. 27, 2003, at 10:42 a.m. He was a member of the Pegram United Methodist Church, The Parkinson Support Group, the first president of the Harpeth River Sportsman Club, and served as a Commissioner of Cheatham County for 10 years. He was kind and gentle to everyone and loved people. After 30 years of service he retired from the State of Tennessee and worked 10 years for the Pegram Post Office.
The celebration of his life was held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Bro. Limbo and Bro. Brent Davis officiating. Interment
was at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Nephews served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: The Parkinson Support Group, Dr. Robert Forti, Tommy Hearn, Ray Clark, Frank Greer, Hardin Story, Joe Adams, Dorris Sawyer, Jim Gunter, Raymond Haley, Rod Brown and Randy Clark. He is survived by loving wife of 55 years, Lorena; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Lynne; foster daughter, Eulene Tanner; his greatest joys, his grandson and granddaughter, Nathan and Lauren Anderson; three foster granddaughters and four foster grandsons; two sisters, Sue French and Maxine Spaulding; two brothers, William (Buddy T.) and Paul; special nephew, Charles Anderson; and other nephews and nieces.

David Wayne England, 45, passed away on Aug. 27, 2003, due to an auto accident. He was a veteran of the United States Marines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth England.
He is survived by his wife, Christine England of Chapmansboro; a daughter, Christy Reeder of Ashland City; a son, David England of Chapmansboro; his mother, Frankie England of Ashland City; a brother, Kenneth England of Nashville; sisters, Shelia Stiles of Ashland City; and Kathy (Tim) Batts of Chapmansboro; two grandchildren, Abigail Reeder and Caleb England.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning, Sept. 2, 2003 at 8 a.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Trent Maupin officiating. Burial followed at the Middle Tennessee Veterans cemetery in Nashville. Pallbearers were Steven Stiles, David England Jr., Jimmy Reeder, Timmy Proctor, Shane England and Kenny England.

Deanna Kay Green
Deanna Kay Green, 57, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, in Nashville, after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by parents, Richard L. Green and Mary Katherine Justice Green.
She is survived by her sisters, Lois Gayle Meyer of Pleasant View and Joy (Rick) Greiner of Pittsburgh, Penn.; loving nieces Kim Barnes of Pleasant View, April Sharp of Pleasant View, Holly Hippenstiel of Bloomsburg, Penn., and Ginnie Greiner of Pittsburgh, Penn.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Cheatham County Funeral Home with Father Desmond officiating. Burial followed at the United Methodist Church cemetery in Pleasant View. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
