Letha Ann Robey, 66, formerly of Ashland City, passed away on Sept. 22, 2003, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Campbell Cannaday and Mary Alice Watson; spouse, Charles Luther Robey; and a brother, James Franklin Cannaday.
She is survived by sons: William R. Robey of Westmoreland and James M. Robey of Nashville; and a nephew, Tom King of Lafayette.
Graveside services were held on Sept. 25, 2003, at Felts cemetery in Ashland City.

Bill Watts
Bill Watts, 81, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. He was retired from Acme Boot Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lillie Morris Watts, and son Billy Don Watts.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Harris Watts of Chapmansboro; daughter, Beverly (Mike) Albert of Chapmansboro; grandchildren, Clint Albert, Amy Jones, Dustin Watts, Jade Watts; great-grandchildren, Lauren Albert, Briley Jones, Ava Jones.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Randy Corn and Brother Gene Parton officiating. Burial was in Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View. Family and friends served as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Watts' name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Elza William Waynick
Elza William Waynick, 70, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at his residence. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ashland City. He was a retired carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Lou Waynick.
He is survived by his wife, Veronia Williams Waynick; a son, Randall (Jocelyn) Waynick and a daughter, Judy (David) Krantz, both of Ashland City; a brother, Edward Waynick of Granite City, Ill. and a brother, Bobby Waynick of Ashland City; a devoted aunt and friend, Bea Smith of Michigan; grandchildren, Michael Waynick, Nicholas Waynick, Corey Krantz, Spencer Krantz.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Ted Pagel officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery in Ashland City. Family and friends were the pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were employees of J.C. Bradford Company.

Sadie Blanche Anderson
Sadie Blanche Anderson, 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday morning, Sept. 18, 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of the Clarksville Highway Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Marty Anderson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mitchell Anderson of Pleasant View; sons, Delma (Sherry) Anderson, Ray (Sandra) Anderson; sisters, Erma Tidwell, Beulah Wright and Lennie Dickey; brother, Tommy Lee Attkisson; grandchildren, Carol (Joe) Kitchens, Jimmy (Karen) Anderson, Kim (Anthony) Hill; great-grandchildren, Corey and Ryan Anderson, Derek, Lauren, Stephen, Reavis, Koby and Tanner Hill, Will and Kyle Anderson; one great-great-grandchild, Haley Lynn Anderson; special friends, Buck and Louise White.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Frank Brunner and Brother Johnny Harris officiating. Burial was in the Forest Lawn cemetery in Goodlettsville. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Donations in her memory may be made to the Clarksville Highway Church of Christ.

Kenneth Randall Gary
Kenneth Randall Gary, 58, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Estelle Rottero and J.W. Gary.
He is survived by his brother, Jerry Gary and Barry Gary; sister, Diane Epps and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003. Rev. David Royalty officiated. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Interment

Harry William Hunt
Harry William Hunt, 86, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Hunt served as a C-46 pilot in the China-Burma-India Theater in WWII. He was a member of the Hump Pilots Association, a farmer and retired from the Cheatham-Robertson County Co-op.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Kelley Hunt; a son, Steve Kelley Hunt; father, Sterling Gaines Hunt; mother, Charlie Williams Hunt; siblings, Mary Lucy Hunt Shearon, Robert Vernon Hunt, Egbert Lauren Hunt, Lillian Fort and John Lloyd Hunt.
He is survived by his daughter, Marsha J. Hunt of Pleasant View; a sister, Eleanor Head; brothers, Sterling Benson Hunt, Leonard Clayton Hunt and Joe Howard Hunt; and several nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Walker officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant View United Methodist Church cemetery in Pleasant View. Pallbearers were his nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department or to the charity of your choice.

Eleanor Lee Lane
Eleanor Lee Lane, 61, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lee Lane of Nashville; sister, Frances (Jack) Carithers of McAllen and Texas, 42 nieces and nephews and a host of beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Huey Lee Lane, parents Henry and Julia (Wagner) Phillips; two sisters Harristine Goolsby and Mary Heath, and her brother, Norman Phillips.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. Bro. Leon Edwards officiated. Burial was in Heads cemetery in Cedar Hill. Nephews served as pallbearers.

Fairy Lee McCarver
Fairy Lee McCarver, 79, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Carl McCarver of Ashland City; son, Fred Richard Bell of Houston, Texas; daughter Pat (David) Reed of Oklahoma, Okla.; two sisters, Hazel Daniel of Ft. Smith, Ark., and Loy Fay Jessie of Houston, Texas, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Fred and Annie (Smith) Mackie and two sons Glen Tatum and Bob Tatum.
Visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, from 10 a.m. until time of service. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Davis will be officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem cemetery in Ashland City. Pallbearers will be Ray McCarver, Dale McCarver, J.C. Wilson, Willard Forbes, Tommy Cushman and Wade Scholes.

Mildred Newman
Mildred "Millie" Newman, 66, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003.
She was preceded in death by parents, Johnny and Gracie Pursley and sister, Christine Newman.
She is survived by husband, Walter Newman; sons, Jerry Newman, Roy (Brenda) Newman; two grandchildren, Shane and Casey Newman; sisters, Shirley Holt, Carolyn Parker, Annie Hornburger, Ruby Newman; brothers, Willie, John H., Willard, Eugene and Simon Pursley.
Funeral services were held at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, at 1 p.m. Bro. Cecil Boswell and Bro. Willard McCarroll officiated. Robert Craig Watts
Robert Craig Watts, 89, of Nashville, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003 at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville.
Born April 27, 1914, in Thomasville, Cheatham County, he pursued farming in his early years and after moving to Nashville worked in the insurance and real estate business. He retired from Nationwide Insurance in 1983. He was married
to Miss Mamie Binkley in 1935 and after her death was married
to Mrs. Myrtle Catherine (Carter) Cofer in 1954.
Preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Elmer Watts, who died in 1919 and Minnie Elena (Whitworth) Watts-Knox who died in 1974; grandparents, Johnny Felts Watts and Mary W. (Stack) Watts and William Henry Whitworth and Martha Jane (Jackson) Whitworth; three brothers, Woodruff Watts, Edward Watts and Wilburn Watts.
He is survived by his loving family, wife Myrtle Catherine (Carter) Cofer-Watts; two daughters, Sylvia Joyce (Watts) Johnson and Judy Lee Watts; one step-daughter, Dianne (Cofer) Hicks, all of Nashville; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Funeral service was held at Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Leon Edwards officiating. Interment
was in the Mt. Sharon cemetery in Springfield. Friends and family served as pallbearers.
