She is survived by father, Travis Adams, mother Shoneik Shontai Grant.
Service was held at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, Sunday, July 25 with Bro. Johnny Harris, Jr. officiating.

Allen Alliston APPLETON
Allen Alliston Appleton, 75, a Navy veteran and a retired HVAC heating and air service representative, died Friday, July 23, 2004, at TVHS, York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hampton Appleton of Ashland City; daughter, Kathy (Scott) Milom of Pleasant View; granddaughter, Kristi Hasty and great granddaughter, Jessica Hasty, both of Madison, Tenn.; sister, Corine Stone of Detroit, Mich.; stepson, James Bomar of Ashland City; and stepdaughter, Shirley (Ed) Prince of Camden, Tenn., and a host of close friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Mamie Ford Appleton.
Funeral services were Sunday, July 25 at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Forrest and James Batts officiating. Friends served as pallbearers.
Interment was in the Union/East Dickson cemetery in Dickson, Tenn.

D. Wayne Boyd, 63, a retired auto sales representative, died Saturday, July 24, 2004, at his home in Ashland City.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Clement Boyd; two sons, Kevin and Stephen Boyd; his mother, Menevelyn Allen Boyd; granddaughter Hillary Danielle Boyd, all of Ashland City; three brothers, Rohney (Linda) Boyd of Old Hickory, Tenn., David (Kathleen) Boyd of Ashland City, Milton (Carol) Boyd of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; sister, Janice (Troy) Shelton of Smyrna, Tenn., and a host of close family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles O. Boyd, and his brother, Charles Errol Boyd.
Funeral services were Monday, July 26 at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. Bro. Gene Lovelace and Ronald McPherson officiated. Active pallbearers were Mike Jackson, Stanley Boyd, Terry Hudgens, Brian Hudgens, Kevin Henderson, Pat Johnson, Dwain Clement and James Hudgens. Honorary pallbearers: Doug Horton, Lillard Burnette, Harland Krantz, Michael Jackson, Dr. Karl and Connie Rogers, Eddie Forte, Ken Gammons and Dean Boyd. Interment
was in the Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View, Tenn.

Woodrow HARGROVE
Woodrow (Woody) Hargrove, 73, of Joelton, Tenn., passed away Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Giles County, Tenn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was of the Nazarene faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Hargrove and Etta Wales Hargrove.
He is survived by his wife, Frances York Hargrove of Joelton, Tenn.; sons, Larry (Nita) Hargrove of Alabama, Chip (Lisa) Hargrove of Greenbrier, Tenn. and Kenneth Hargrove of Nashville, Tenn.; daughters, Cathie (Curtis) Greer of Joelton, Tenn., Vickie Penticost of Hendersonville, Tenn.; sisters, Christine Beddingfield of Pulaski, Tenn., Emogene Hanna of GoodSprings, Tenn., Jewel Dean Scott of Alabama, and Mary Sue (Erskin) Higginbotham of Alabama; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at 10 a.m. from the Chapel of the Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Bernie Deffinger officiating. Burial was in the Pettusville cemetery in Ardmore, Ala. Pallbearers were Heath Greer, Michael Penticost, Kevin Roberson, Randle Krantz, Elton Ray Buttery, Daniel Penticost.

Thelma PERRY
Thelma Perry, 87, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004.
She was preceded in death by husband, John Nelson Perry; son, Sam Perry and brother, Buford Cagle.
She is survived by daughters, Rheba (Billy) Anderson, Rita (David) Edgin, Linda (John) McLeskey, Connie (Randall) Anderson; sons, Marvis "Rabbit" (Linda) Perry, Elvis (Carolyn) Perry, Billy (Sandy) Perry; 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ester Coker, Agnes Lloyd, Beuna Davis, Virginia Smart, Christine Felts, Tennie Thomas; brothers, Charlie Cagle, Johnny Cagle, Elliott "Super" Cagle.
Services will be conducted at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, with Bro. Cecil Boswell officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be in Friendship Freewill Baptist Church cemetery, Ashland City. Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

Michael Ray SHELTON
Michael Ray Shelton, 49, of Ashland City, Tenn., passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tenn., after a brief illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurmon and Pearlene Shelton.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted sister, Gloria (Spencer) Northern of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Gregory and Timothy Shelton of Nashville, Tenn.; devoted cousin Kevin Bell of Ashland City, Tenn. and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cheatham County Funeral Home in Ashland City, Tenn., to pay their respect to the family and cherish and remember his life. Family and friends will go to the Mt. Zion cemetery in Bellsburg for burial.

Johnathon Andrew Bates, of Pleasant View, born Aug. 17, 2004, died Sept. 27, 2004.
He is survived by parents, David and Lacquita Bates of Pleasant View, three brothers, Joshua and Jeremy Lambert and David Bates; one sister, Ashley Bates, best cousin Star, one grandmother, two grandfathers, one great-grandmother, eight aunts, seven uncles and many cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel with interment
in Spring Hill cemetery.

Charlotte Ann PRICE
Charlotte Ann Price, 60, passed away Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at her home in Joelton, Tenn. She was born in Michigan, became a resident of Tennessee in 1970 and relocated to Joelton in 1978.
She was a member of the Pleasant View United Methodist Church and a member of the Red Hat Socialites chapter of the Red Hat Society. Often referred to as the "Rock Lady" because of her hobby of painting pictures on rocks, she also showed her artistic side by making teddy bears to donate to the Cheatham County Hospital emergency room.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Harold Cutler, William Mann and Richard Price; brother, Larry Sullivan.
She is survived by sons, Eric Cutler, Joelton, Tenn., and Billy (Donna) Mann, Ashland City, Tenn.; granddaughter, Amber Mann, Ashland City, Tenn.; sisters, Mary Lou Dentler, Mich., Cheryl Fletcher, Wichita, Kan., brother, David Dentler, Newport, Tenn.; nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at the Pleasant View United Methodist Church with Rev. Ryan Bennett and Rev. Ed McClellan officiating. Burial was in the Price Family cemetery, Melody Lane, Joelton. Tenn.

Virgie Estell PULLEY
Virgie Estell Pulley, 80, a devoted wife and mother, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at her home in Ashland City, Tenn.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Arthur Leroy Pulley of Ashland City, Tenn.; four sons, Roy D. (Teresa) Pulley of Chapmansboro, Tenn., Phillip Ray (Jane) Pulley of Front Royal, Va., Charles Lee Pulley of Ashland City, Tenn., Arthur George Pulley of Hazel, Ky.; three daughters, Patricia Ann Pulley, Brenda S. (Odell) Odom, Linda Lou (Mark) Foster, all of Ashland City, Tenn.; one sister, Melinda Castelle of Dover, Tenn., five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of close family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Estell Smith Givens; her brother, Luther Givens and her sister, Ella Mae Bryant.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Hoffman officiating. Active pallbearers: Henry Odom, Shawn Odom, Joe Trotter, Jeff Odom, Jimmy Outland and Amanda Trotter. Burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery in Ashland City, Tenn.

Gregory Lee Casey, 44, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at his home in Ashland City.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Whipple Casey and his son, Joshua Casey, both of Fredrick, Md.; his father, Loren Casey of Illinois; his mother, Mary, and stepfather, James Giles, both of Ashland City; three brothers: Michael (Gayle) Casey of Illinois, Richard (Diane) Casey of Texas, and Todd (Laura) Johnson of Ashland City.
Memorial service was conducted Wednesday, July 31 at 6 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home with Tim Swearingen officiating.

Emma Lou HAMPTON
Emma Lou Hampton, 77, of Nashville, Tenn., passed away Friday, July 16, 2004, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville. She was born Jan. 13, 1927, the daughter of the late Thomas and Tennie Perry. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by sisters, Dorothy "Cricket" Smock, Ashland City, and Ruby Nell Groves, Joelton, Tenn.; brother, James Perry, Greenbrier, Tenn.; loving nieces and nephews.
Service was at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, July 20 with Bro. James Humphrey.
Burial was in the Smith-Neptune cemetery, Ashland City.
