Tolbert was born in Nashville, to James F. McBride and Pauline Wallace McBride.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Tolbert, of Murfreesboro; one brother, Richard F. McBride; mother-in-law, Mary Tolbert, of Murfreesboro; niece, Katherine McBride; and nephew, Robert McBride.

James Albert Rollins
James Albert Rollins, 72, of Murfreesboro, passed away Feb. 13, 2004.
Rollins was born Feb. 13, 1932, in White County to James Franklin Rollins and Lula Fuqua Rollins.
Rollins served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict.
He was retired from Lewis Bros. Bakery and IGA Foods.
Rollins was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Felton Rollins; one daughter, Theresa Rollins Bowling; one son, Tony L. Rollins, all of Murfreesboro; four sisters, Mary Cantrell, Janie Barnes, Kathy Hudson, all of McMinnville, Juanita Jones, of Nashville; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Tiffany Faith Robinson Jenkins
Tiffany Faith Robinson Jenkins, 30, of Powder Springs, Ga., formerly of White County, passed away Feb. 6, 2004.
Jenkins was born June 1, 1973, to Jack Robinson and Mary Robinson.
She had been a dispatcher for E-911 in Cobb County, Ga.
Jenkins was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Wayne Robinson.
Survivors include her husband, Hollis Lavon Jenkins, of Powder Springs, Ga.; one son, Oliver Lavon Jenkins, of Powder Springs, Ga.; mother, Mary Robinson, of Powder Springs, Ga.; father, Jack Robinson and wife Kathleen, of Sparta; one sister, Sabrina Phillips, of Georgia; stepbrother, Randy Young, of Sparta; grandfather, Jim Robinson, of Sparta; father-in-law, Hollis Jenkins, of Sparta; and many friends and relatives.

Ellen L. Denton Patton, 78, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Feb. 7, 2004.
Patton was born July 11, 1925, in Tennessee, to Joe Denton and Nan Franks Denton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Eddie B. Denton.
Survivors include three daughters and spouses, Glenda Faye and Fred Edwards, of Ruskin, Fla., Rita and Pete Judge, of Zephrhills, Fla., Donna Patton, of Tampa, Fla., one sister, Jo Frances Sapp, of Sparta; one brother, Fred Denton, of Cookeville; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Norman R. LaForce
Norman R. LaForce, 75, of Oak Hill, Fla., passed away Feb. 10, 2004.
LaForce was born Dec. 12, 1928, in Appalachia, Va., to Piney B. and Martha LaForce.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and had been co-owner of Peggy's Country Kitchen.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy J. LaForce, of Oak Hill, Fla.; five sons, Robert LaForce, of Baltimore, Md., Richard LaForce, of Perry, Ohio, Jim LaForce, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Kenneth LaForce and Mike Titchenell, both of Painesville, Ohio.; two daughters, Gayle Frank, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Carol Corral, of San Leandro, Calif.; four sisters, Dell Hassett, of Paradise, Calif., Jean Adams, of Pensacola, Fla., Lucille Schwentker, of Oak Hill, Fla., and Barbara Plauck, of Carpenterville, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Ida Mae Melton Underwood, 86, of Columbia, passed away Feb. 17, 2004.
Underwood was born in Warren County to George Ernest Melton and Audie Eskel Saddler.
She had been a housewife.
Underwood was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William Marcus Underwood.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Janice Katherine Shepherd and Sam, of Mt. Pleasant; one son and daughter-in-law, George Michael Underwood and Linda, of Byron, Ga.; one stepson, William Ralph Underwood, of Lavergne; three sisters, Ree Brady, of Sparta, Ruth Melton, of McMinnville, Juanita Smith, of Centerville; five grandchildren, Darrell Shepherd, Bill Shepherd, Scott Shepherd, Laura Mixon, Marcus Underwood, Shauna Underwood; and many nieces and nephews.

George David Allen, 65, of Antioch, formerly of Jackson County, passed away Dec. 21, 2003.
Allen was born Feb. 20, 1938, in Jackson County to Hollis Allen and Hallie Terry Allen.
He was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include wife, Mary Farley Allen; one son, Terry Allen; and one daughter, Cindy Allen, all of Antioch.

Louis LaFever
Louis LaFever, 81, of Cookeville, passed away Feb. 10, 2004.
LaFever was born Feb. 14, 1922, in Putnam County, to Seva LaFever and Maggie Ford LaFever.
He was a retired Chief Petty Officer with the U.S. Navy, a member of the Navy Fleet Reserve and American Legion.
LaFever was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Martha Clemons, Verda Webster, Ann Wygal; one brother, Jesse LaFever; and five infant siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Nola Pearl Jones LaFever, of Cookeville; five sisters, Alice Clemons, Myrtle Clemons, Roberta Winks, all of St. George Utah, Dora Anderson and Hazel Gilson, of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Arrangements: Services were at 6 p.m., Feb. 13, 2004, at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home, Cookeville Chapel with burial in Arlington National cemetery, Arlington, Va. with full military honors.

James W. Hall, 71, passed away Feb. 8, 2004.
Hall was born Sept. 20, 1932, to William Millard Hall and Ethel Mae Henley.
He had been a minister at Palmer Church of Christ and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Hall, of McMinnville; one daughter and son-in-law Melinda Carol and Danny Grayson, of Whitwell; one son and daughter-in-law, James Timothy and Kristal Hall, of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Seger and B.J. Grayson and Henry and Kelsey Hall; one sister, Sally Smith, of Kimball; two brothers, Bobby Dean Hall, of Rossville, Ga., and Allen Wayne Hall, of Marietta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

James L. "Bo" Selby, 79, of Sparta, passed away Feb. 5, 2004.
Selby was born Oct. 12, 1924, in White County, to Jim Martin Selby and Frances Null Selby.
He was retired from Mallory Timers.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Selby was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Vinson Selby, of Sparta; two daughters, Mary Abston and husband, Melvin, Joyce Spivey and husband, Ronnie, all of Sparta; four grandchildren, Daniel Abston, Carol Abston, Tammy Hitchcock and husband, Bill, Derona Lee and husband Stacy, all of Sparta; three great grandchildren, Katy, Shelby, Brittany; and several nieces and nephews.
