Kingsport - Earl Edward Wilder, 81, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Friday (May 11, 2007) at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Wilder; parents, Robert DeLoften Wilder and Dora Boatright Wilder; sisters, Gladys Vaughn and Bonnie Wilder; brothers, Logan Wilder, Charles Wilder, Oscar Wilder, John Wilder, James WIlder, Clifford Wilder, Willard Wilder, and MacAuthor Wilder.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Patricia Ann McBride; sisters, Helen Cox, Louise Price, and Ettie Gibson; brothers, Roy Wilder, Robert Wilder, and Conley Wilder; and nephew, Marlin Bradley Vaughn.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday (May 16, 2007) at the Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Md. 21221.
Interment will be conducted at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, Middle River, Md.

Kashiben Lallubhai Patel
Kingsport - Kashiben Lallubhai Patel, 89, of India, died on Saturday (May 12, 2007) after a brief illness. She arrived in the United States on March 29, 2007 and was living with her son, Mike Patel, when she passed away.
She is survived by her four sons, Magan "Mike" Patel, Kingsport, Vasant Patel, India, Naran Patel, Canada, Mohan Patel, Boston, Mass.; fifteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday (May 14, 2007) at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with RIACC Hall of Worship Priest, Dr. Acharya Kumar Sharma officiating.
Crematory services will follow the chapel service.

Lucille Begley
Kingsport – Reva Lucille Bishop Hicks Begley, 82, went to be with the Lord on Friday (May 11, 2007) at her residence.
She was born in Scott County, Va. (Rye Cove) and lived in this area all her life. She was a member of Lighthouse Bible Church, Blountville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Enoch and Lelia Lark Bishop; a daughter, Teresa Ann Hicks; former husband, Herman K. Hicks; two sisters, Louise Bishop and Phyllis Allen; one brother, Robert Bishop, and step-grandson, Sam Dykes.
She is survived by her husband, Jessie Begley, of the home; two daughters, Janice Steffey and husband Earnest, Blountville, and Judy Hensley and husband Phil, Kingsport; two sons, James Hicks and wife Jenny, and Larry Hicks and wife Linda, all of Kingsport; five step-daughters, Mrs. Buddy (Brenda) Smith, Ms. Judy Shuler, Mrs. WIllard (Linda) Vaughn, Mrs. Michael (Teresa) Lovelace, and Mrs. Don (Debbie) Goins, all of Kingsport; eight grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; ten great-step-grandchiklren; one sister, Nedia McClellan, Kingsport; one brother, Elmer Bishop and wife Betty, Honaker, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday (May 13, 2007) at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday (May 14, 2007) at Lighthouse Bible Church, Blountville, with Rev. Eddie Smith and Pastor Ernest Steffey officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill cemetery, Kingsport.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

Lida Mae Poe
Kingsport - Lida Mae Williams Poe, 80, Kingsport, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Sunday (May 13, 2007) at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn.
Born in Sullivan County, Tenn., she was a lifelong resident and was employed by Eastman Chemical.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Poe, in Nov. 2006; infant son; parents, Garrett and Bessie Justus Williams; and two brothers, Victor Williams and J.C. Williams.
She is survived by one sister, Barbara Morelock and husband Charles, Kingsport; one brother, Roy Williams, Huntsville, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday (May 15, 2007) at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport. Friends and family may call anytime at the home of her sister, Barbara Morelock, 1358 Wooddale Circle, Kingsport, Tenn. 37664 and Kingsport, Tenn. 37660.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Ron Ramsey officiating.
Music will be provided by Brinley Addington.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (May 16, 2007) at Oak Hill cemetery, Kingsport. Family will meet at the cemetery at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Fields, Johnny Williams, Cody Samuelson, Aaron Fields, Mark Arnold, and Mike Poe.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Arnold, Don Francisco, and Leon Duncan.

Helen Wilson Goff
Kingsport - Helen (Wilson) Goff, 68, Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, (May 9, 2007), at her residence in Kingsport.
She was born in Huntsville, MO and later moved to Kingsport in January of 1998 from Des Moines, Iowa. She retired from IA. Methodist Hospital as a dietician and was a member of Mercy Seat Ministries.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Maggie (Wallace) Wilson; five brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Terry W. Goff of the home; daughters, Marilyn Weber, Des Moines, Iowa, Beverly Meadows, Kingsport; sons, Terry Shane Goff, Jeffrey Goff, both of Kingsport; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine, of Macon, Mo., Lenna, of Decatur, Il.; brother, Luther Wilson, of Iowa City, Iowa.
Calling hours will be Saturday (May 12, 2007) from 10 to 11 a.m. at Mercy Seat Ministries.
Funeral services will be held Saturday (May 12, 2007) at Mercy Seat Ministries with Rev. Leander Ray officiating. Music will be provided by the Church Quartet.
A Funeral service will be held in Moberly, Mo. on Tuesday (May 15, 2007) at Cater Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m.
Burial will follow at Sugar Creek cemetery in Moberly, with friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Shane Goff, Jeffery Layne Goff and Brent Alan Meadows.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Seat Ministries, P.O. Box 3450, Kingsport, TN 37664.

Liz Clark
Church Hill- Elizabeth Ann Clark, 62, of Church Hill went to be with her heavenly father early Monday morning (May 14, 2007) at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Kingsport where she had lived the majority of her life. Liz attended Dobyns-Bennett High School. She worked several years in the nursing field giving special care to individuals that were terminally ill. Mrs. Clark attended Promise Ministries in Kingsport. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother & sister.
She was preceded in death by her baby daughter, Robin Gail Nelms; her son, Timothy Nelms; parents, Juanita & Lonnie Culbertson.
Elizabeth Ann Clark is survived by her husband, Bill Clark (of the home); a son, Brian Clark & his wife, Jill (Pennsylvania); her daughters, Lisa Henderson & her husband, Bill (Surgoinsville), Sondra Engle (Kingsport), Melanie Jennings & her husband, Rick (Kingsport); 14 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Taylor & her husband, Larry, Judy Partin & her husband, Arley, Evelyn Samples & her husband, Wayne; her brothers, Jimmy Culbertson & Kyle Culbertson; a true best friend, Betty Rutledge along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home of Church Hill on Wednesday (May 16, 2007) or friends may also call anytime at the residence, 5006 West Carters Valley Road in Church Hill.
A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday (May 16, 2007) in the funeral home chapel at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Steve Lay officiating.
An entombment service will be conducted at Oak Hill Mausoleum on Thursday (May 17, 2007) at 1 p.m. with Shawn Allen, Brandon Allen, Arley Partin, Wayne Samples, Larry Taylor & Charles Rutledge serving as pallbearers.

Kingsport - Jimmy Wayne "Bud" Vaughn, 53, Kingsport, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Monday (May 14, 2007) at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn. following a brief illness.
Born in Shirley, Mass., Bud had lived in Kingsport for most of his life. He was self-employed as a plumber.
He is survived by his wife, Marie (Campbell) Vaughn, of the home; daughter, Jennifer Tucker and husband David, Frederick, Md.; son, Dennis Vaughn, Frederick, Md.; granddaughter, Gwen Tucker, Frederick, Md.; parents, Jimmy Lee and Virginia Potts Vaughn; sister, Debra Dove and husband Gary, Kingsport; Tenn.; brother, Michael Vaughn, Kingsport, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m on Thursday (May 17, 2007) at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport.
