Cleve Crawford, 64, of Clinton, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at his home.
Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Myra Crawford; four daughters, Tina Crawford of Clinton, Janie Crawford of Carterville, Ga., Karen Watzlawick and her husband, Ralph, of Clinton, and Betty Hansen and her husband, Rick, of Garden City, S.C.; a son, Timothy Cleve Crawford of Clinton; and his mother, Bonnie Crawford, also of Clinton.
He is also survived by four sisters, Edna Taylor, Corrine Foust and Kathy Guyton, all of Clinton, and Hazel Elliott of Lake City; and two brothers, Luther Crawford of Clinton and Jerry Crawford of Norris.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Hillvale Baptist Church, 109 Peach Orchard Road, Clinton, with the Rev. David Crowley officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillvale Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, Feb. 23, at Cox-Martin Funeral Home in Lake City.
William G. Cobb
Retired ORNL engineer

William G. "Bill" Cobb. 82, of 232 Alhambra Road, died Saturday, July 18, 1998, at NHC HealthCare of Oak Ridge.
Mr. Cobb started his working career with the Fulton Sylphon Co. and then the Tennessee Valley Authority in Knoxville. He came to Oak Ridge in 1944 to work with Tennessee Eastman at the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant. He then worked for 33 years as a research and design engineer for Union Carbide Nuclear Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Y-12. He retired in 1980.
He was born in Trenton, Ky., on April 2, 1916, the son of Robert Linah and Ledley Logan Cobb. Mr. Cobb attended elementary school in Trenton and high school in Bolivar, where he graduated from Central High School in 1934, third in his graduating class. He received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1939.
Mr. Cobb and his wife, Alice K. Cobb, who survives him, were married
on Nov. 25, 1967.
He was active in community service through the Lions Club and the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Cobb was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert L. Cobb and his wife, Eileen, of Virginia Beach, Va., and William Gordon Cobb Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Herndon, Va.; a stepdaughter, Sharon Anderson and her husband, Charlie, of Oak Ridge; a sister, Martha Fenker and her husband, Richard, of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister-in-law, Rosalie Galloway of Oak Ridge; five grandchildren, Deborah Cobb Manley, Brian Cobb, Robert Cobb, Sharon Cobb Eberly and Dwayne Anderson; and two great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Virginia Cobb Milan, Ledley Cobb Ussery and Betty Cobb, died earlier.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 320 Robertsville Road. The Rev. Bob Edmonds will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Charlie Anderson, Dwayne Anderson, Alan Eason, Gene Hicks, Tom Simpson and Lloyd Wilson. Al Boch, Speas Hinshaw, John Meador and Dr. David White were named honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Charles Floyd Parke

Charles Floyd Parke, 65, of Knoxville, died Thursday, July 16, 1998, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville.
Mr. Parke was a consultant at Waste Resources in Oneida.
He was born in Oakland City, Ind., on Jan. 19, 1933, the son of Elza and Themus Parke. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and achieved the rank of captain.
Mr. Parke enjoyed playing tennis in his younger years and he also enjoyed horseback riding. He loved his grandchildren, the family said.
He attended Sunday school at Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Valerie Parke-Hawkins and her husband, David, of Clinton; two sons, Chuck Parke and his wife, Donna, of Jamestown, N.C., and Perry Parke and his wife, Lisa, of Lexington, Ky.; and six grandchildren, Rebekah Parke, Daniel Parke, Hannah Parke, Jacob Hawkins, Jared Hawkins and Mitchell Parke.
Fay Cantrell of Knoxville is the mother of his children.
In addition to his parents, a sister, Maxine Nelson, died earlier.
The funeral was held Sunday, July 19, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev Chris Bunn officiating.
Burial was at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton.

Margery Keelor Toucey, 75, of Oak Ridge, died Friday, July 17, 1998, at Farragut Health Care Center.
Mrs. Toucey and her husband, the late Robert Edward Toucey, came to Oak Ridge in the early 1940s.
She was a homemaker most of her life, but in earlier years had managed the credit union at ORTEC, her daughter said.
She was born in Ohio, the daughter of Miron and Beatrice Keelor, both now deceased.
Mrs. Toucey enjoyed ballroom dancing and playing golf and bridge. She was known for her sense of humor and her sense of fun, her daughter said.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Wilson of Oak Ridge; two grandsons, Scott Wilson of Campbell, Calif., and Brian Wilson of Falls Church, Va.; a brother, Richard M. Keelor of Xenia, Ohio; three nieces, Pam Airtene of Port Huron, Mich., Jane Howard of Naperville, Ill., and Linda Fischer of El Paso, Texas; and two nephews, Rick Toucey of Duluth, Ga., and Donald Toucey of Indiana, Pa.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, in the chapel of McCarty-Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Guiding Star Baptist Church in Lake City.
She was born in Anderson County on July 16, 1931, the daughter of Luke Elliott and Parley Buena Williams, who are now deceased.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Carl Fred Williams; one son, Carl Williams and his wife, Arline, of Andersonville; a sister, Mable Ruth New and her husband, Patrick, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a brother, Authur Elliott and his wife, Emmia Jean, of Lake City; three grandchildren, Ricky Williams and his wife, Kimberly, of Lake City, Bryson Williams and his wife, Cara, of Clinton and Jason Williams of Andersonville; one great-grandchild, Jonathan Andrew Williams of Clinton; and by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Clifford Fraker officiating and the Rev. Verlin Langford assisting.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Red Hill Baptist Church cemetery in Andersonville.

Christine King, 74, of Birmingham, Ala., died Tuesday, July 7, 1998, in Birmingham.
Miss King was a former resident of Oak Ridge for many years. She retired in 1989 from Oak Ridge Hospital, where she had worked since 1964. She moved to Birmingham in 1990.
She was born in Toney, Madison County, Ala., on June 8, 1924, the daughter of George and Virginia Batts King.
Although she never married
, her family said she enjoyed the company of her loving family and was a mother to them all.
Miss King is survived by five sisters, Mildred Hall of Charleston, S.C., and Margaret Copeland, Del Marie King, Flora Weatherspoon and Irene McCord, all of Birmingham; two brothers, Arthur King of Columbus, Ohio, and Frank King of Hampton, Va.; two uncles, Nelson Butts and John Butts, both of Cleveland, Ohio; and by several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Among her friends were Lillian Pettus, Johnny W. Smith, Mike Peterman, Alvin Sandlin, Treda Damewood, Gary Litton, Willie J. Miller, Annabelle Jones, Jean Wright, Rickie Bunch, Adam Murray, Ray, Jo Jo Shephard, Sanders Miller, Eula Mitchell, Margarette Carr, Pati Martin, Don Russell, Carl Wry, Audrey Jones, Ethel Goodman, Lola Huskey, Frita, Frill Sanders, Margaret Reed and Terry Wright.
Burial was at Elmwood cemetery in Birmingham.
Bushelon Funeral Chapel in Birmingham handled arrangements.
Vera Inez Almgren

Vera Inez Almgren of Oak Ridge died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at NHC HealthCare of Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Almgren was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge.
She was born in Birmingham, Ala., the daughter of Cleveland Beauregard Beard and Jessie Cornelia Rowe Beard.
Mrs. Almgren was a homemaker. In earlier years, she worked with her husband, Edgar Almgren, who survives her, in their Technical Equipment Supply Co., which they began in 1965.
She was an avid bridge player, her family said.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Almgren is survived by her daughter, Connie Forman and her husband, Arnold, of Chestnut Hill, Mass.; two sisters, Stella Smith and her husband, Al, of Blacksburg, Va., and Jessie Mae Stocks of Birmingham; and two grandchildren, Richard Scott Forman of Boston, Mass., and Daniel Jeffrey Forman of New York, N.Y.
Her son, Edgar A. "Chip" Almgren Jr., died in 1981.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary with the Rev. Larry Dipboye officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

The funeral was held Monday night, Sept. 7, in the chapel of Cox-Martin Funeral Home in Lake City. The Rev. David White officiated.
A graveside service was held this morning, Sept. 8, at Leach cemetery in Lake City.
