Bobby Davis Dorris (known to coworkers as Moose), age 70, of Gallatin, Tenn., formerly of Westmoreland, passed away May 9, 2009. He is preceded is death by his parents, Charles and Nova Gammons Dorris; sister, Eunice Law; brother, William (Bill) Dorris. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Law Dorris of Gallatin; son, Jeffery (Shelia) Dorris of Westmoreland; daughters, Julie (Kevin) Baker and Samantha (Craig) Rooks, both of Gallatin; grandchildren, Christopher and Cameron Dorris, Jessica and Zachery Baker, Madelyn and Molly Rooks; great grandson, Tanner, son of Christopher; great granddaughter, Pyper Addison, daughter of Cameron; brothers, Gene Dorris of Westmoreland and Frank Dorris of Alexandria, Va.; sisters, Virginia Gilliam of Westmoreland and Diane McMurtry of Tampa, Fla. She is survived her by her daughter, Dianne (Chris) Collard of Westmoreland; son, Lloyd Graves of Westmoreland; granddaughter, Missy (Ronnie) Wiley of Villa Rica, Ga.; grandson, Matt (Ginger) Cummins of Gallatin; great grandchildren, Katie Wiley of Villa Rica, Ga., Isaac Wiley of Villa Rica, Ga., Walker Cummins of Gallatin, Georgia Mae Cummins of Gallatin; step great grandchildren, Cody Shaw, Sierra Thompson and Alexus Shaw of North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Lillie Rippy Clark; husband, James William Graves. Hendrix of Portland; son, Donnie (Emily) Hendrix of Scottsville, Ky.; daughter, Kim Hendrix of Portland; brothers, Bobby Collins of Springfield, Tenn., Herschell Hodge, Jr., of Bangor, Maine; grandson, Zac Dalton of Scottsville, Ky. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herschell M. Hodge, Sr., and Ruby Foster Hodge. Visitation is 12 p.m., until 9 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2009, and 10 a.m., until service time on Saturday. Cheryl Leigh Henson, age 56, of Westmoreland, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Danny Henson of Westmoreland; sons, Danny Henson, Jr., of the Philippines, Seth Thomas Henson of Elk Grove, Calif.; mother, Olene Howell of of Indianapolis and Westmoreland; brother, Christopher Howell Cross of Beech Grove, Ind.; sister, Megan Cross Childers of Indianapolis, Ind.; step grandchildren, Kelsey Rogers and Brandon Stove. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Cross; grandson, Kirsten Henson. Visitation is 1 p.m., until 9 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2009, and 11 a.m., until service time Friday. Mary Charlotte Holmes, age 15, of Hendersonville, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She is survived by her father, Terry Holmes of Westmoreland; mother, Dawn Ralph of Hendersonville; sisters, Holly Holmes, Jodi Haworth of Hendersonville; step-sisters, Morgan Ralph of Hendersonville, Frankie Smith, Karley Smith and Amanda Smith, all of Westmoreland; step-brothers, Colton Ralph of Hendersonville, Ryan Smith of Westmoreland; grandparents, Shep and Shirley Holmes of Westmoreland, Katherine Holmes of Westmoreland, Gary Dallas of Hendersonville. Dennis Elmer Hoskins, age 86, of Bowling Green, Ky., formerly of Westmoreland, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He is survived by his sons, Jerry Hoskins of Brownsville, Ky., Charlie Hoskins of Bowling Green, Ky.; daughter, Sandra Caruthers of Westmoreland; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 35 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Ladd Hoskins; parents, Jim and Julie Hoskins; daughter, Ruby Cantrell; brothers, Cordell, Carney and George Hoskins; sisters, Mae Parker and Dellie Moss; great grandchildren, Robert Anthony Cantrell and Misty Dawn Hoskins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert M and Dora Mae Law Lambert; brothers, J. W. and Carl Lambert. He is preceded in death by his parents, Escue and Dora E. Medlin Loftis; and brother, Willie Loftis. Matthews of Riverview, Fla., Cecil Marty Cherry of Westmoreland; sisters, Mae Moss of Westmoreland, Rose Huntsman of Lafayette; granddaughter, Jessica Tolson of Shepardsville, Ky.; great grandson, David Tolson, Jr., of Shepardsville, Ky.; six step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Dewitt Hughes and Nora Alice Cherry. Visitation is 6 p.m., until 9 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2009, and 10 a.m., until service time on Wednesday. She is survived by her son, Frankie (Tammy) Meador of Gallatin; daughter-in-law, Tish Meador of Brandenton, Fla.; sister, Jackie (J.C.) Keen of Indianapolis, Ind.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Napier Austin; husband, Thomas L. Meador; son, Bobby Gene Meador. Visitation is 12 noon until 9 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2009, at the funeral home. Visitation is also Monday from 10 a.m., until service time at the church.
