Spencer Dale Allison, 62, of Hillcrest Lane, Florida, died April 25.
He was the son of the late Thomas and Nora Mae Wyatt Allison.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Lola Allison; five sons, Rick Allison of North Carolina, Steven Allison of Bridgeton, New Jersey, Timothy Allison of Deland, Florida, Ronnie Allison of Okochobee, Florida, and Spencer Allison Jr. of Florida; one daughter, Connie Allison of Bradenton, Florida; three brothers, Clarence Lunsford of West Virginia, Dewey Allison of Hot Springs, North Carolina, and Arnold Allison of Waynesville, North Carolina; three sisters, Vina Foster of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Emma Jean Sherer of Riverside, California, and June Ownby of Dandridge, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Roaring Fork Freewill Baptist Church, North Carolina, with a funeral service at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. Neil Pressley and Rev. Frank Willett officiating. Burial will follow in the Roaring Fork cemetery.
At other times, the family will be at the home of Dewey Allison.

Bobby Lee Bradshaw

Bobby Lee Bradshaw, 51, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, April 26, at the James H. Quillen DVAMC in Mountain Home.
He worked for the City of Newport for 18 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Bradshaw.
He is survived by his wife, Benna Kaye Crum Bradshaw of Newport; mother, Etta Bradshaw of Newport; son, Michael Bradshaw of Newport; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Steve Proffitt of Newport; brothers, Billy Jack Bradshaw and Joey Bradshaw, both of Newport; sisters, Agnes Cameron and Mary Etta Hartsell, both of Newport; grandchildren, Abby and Cody Proffitt; several nieces and nephews; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Swanger and Rev. Ransom Hall officiating, with burial at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shady Grove cemetery, with the Lance Corporal Charles C. Roberts D.A.V. Chapter #102 conducting military rites.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., prior to the funeral at Manes Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Ann Hohman, 70, of Newport, passed away Thursday, April 27.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and David Schwartz of Parrottsville; daughter, Joyce Smith of Hollywood, Florida; grandchildren, Ann Holden of Hollywood, Florida, Kimberley Kettle of Hollywood, Florida, and April Williams of Mulberry, Florida; and great-grandchild, Randi Kettle of Hollywood, Florida.
Memorial service will be held at a later date in Hollywood, Florida.

Birdie L. Evans, 76, of Newport, died at her home on Sunday morning, April 30.
She was a member of the Cave Hill Baptist Church.
She was lovingly known as the “Pie Lady,” who loved her church, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vergie Cardwell; and sister, Gladys James.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Evans of Newport; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Ronnie Chambers of Newport and Judy and Jerry Crum of Newport; brothers, Clayton Cardwell and Ray Cardwell; sisters, Pauline Helton, Doris Barnes, Blanche Norton, Billie Cardwell, and Lucille Ogle, all of Sevierville; grandson, Bobby Chambers; granddaughter and her husband, Julie and Jackie Kitchen; granddaughter, Pam Reno; other grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Crum; great-grandchildren, Jake Webb and Hunter Kitchen; grandchildren of love, Missy and April Griffin and Heath Pruitt; and special caregiver, Patty Hensley.
The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Manes Funeral Home with Rev. James Suggs, Rev. M.L. White and Rev. Bill Collett officiating, with burial graveside at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union cemetery.

Jessie Lee Smith

Jessie Lee Balch Smith, of Parrottsville, passed away at her home on Friday evening, August 28, after a lengthy illness.
She was one of the oldest members of Forest Hill Baptist Church and attended faithfully as long as her health permitted.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Edgar Balch and Louise Elizabeth Keller Balch; her husband of 61 years, John Ernest Smith; sisters, Nora Balch Vick and Ada Balch Parks; and brothers, Edgar Balch, Robert Balch, Pinkney Balch, Kermit Balch, and James Martin Balch.
Jessie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Johnnie and Jack Wisecarver; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Johnalee and Daniel Coffey; two great-granddaughters, Rachel and Erica Coffey; several nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Ina Sue Smith of Newport and Doris Easterly of Greeneville; and two special caregivers, Lucille Shelton and Betty Anne Wines.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 31, at the Harned’s Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Walker and the Rev. Dr. Ron Gough officiating. Burial will be in the Harned’s Chapel Methodist Church cemetery.
The family received friends Sunday evening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her loving son, Walter Lee O’Neil; parents G. W. and Polly Gunter; brothers, Sam and Willis Gunter; and sisters, Alice Costner, Cynthia Gentry, Carrie Owens and Sarah Watts.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jake O’Neil of Newport; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Royce Lance of Leicester, North Carolina, and Christine and Festus Talley of Newport; daughter-in-law, Mollie Lovell O’Neil, of Newport; brothers, John, George and Glen Gunter, all of Newport; sister, Roxie Davis of Brevard, North Carolina; grandchildren, Brent Lance, Bronwyn Lance, Kathy Whaley, Pat O’Neil, Katrina Talley and Ryan Talley; four great-grandchildren; and special companions, Lucille Hayes and Ella McKinney.

She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband, Lon Rolen.

Wilma Beatrice Smith, of Dandridge, died May 3 at the Baptist Hospital of Cocke County.
She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Scottie Trivette.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Smith, of Dandridge; daughters, Karen Clark of Dandridge, and Serita Maddron of Newport; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
