Services for Mrs. Mollie Trimble, 80, Nashville, who died Saturday, March 28, at Metro General Hospital, are set for 8 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church with burial 10 a.m. Friday in Howse cemetery. Bobby Russell will officiate.
She is survived by a daughter, Virginia Ward; son, Jeffery Lillard; two brothers, Brack Howse, T.L. Howse; and two sisters, Bessie Phillips and Lizzie Ward.
The body will lie in state from 3-5 p.m. Thursday at Scales & Sons Funeral Home with visitation from 6-7:45 p.m. Thursday at the church with an ushers ceremony at 7:45-8 p.m. Ushers are asked to come in uniform.

James R. Sanders
Services for James Robert Sanders, 79, Overall Creek Road, Rockvale, who died Tuesday, March 31, at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center after an extended illness, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Jennings & Ayers chapel with burial in Evergreen cemetery. Tom Wallace will officiate.
His parents were the late Bill Sanders and Lizzie Rogers Sanders, and his wife was Lola Mai Sanders, who died Nov. 3, 1985.
He is survived by a brother, Herman G. Sanders of Woodbury.
A member of Cripple Creek Presbyterian Church and a U.S. Army veteran, he was a native of Cannon County but lived in Rutherford County most of his life. He was retired from the maintenance department, Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.

Services for Mrs. Sallie L. Moore, 93, Lewisburg, who died Monday, March 30, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, after an extended illness, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodbury Funeral Home chapel with burial in Riverside Garden cemetery. Howard Knox Jr. will officiate.
Her parents were the late Sidney Todd and Ella Vassar Todd, and her husband was the late A.C. Moore.
She is survived by two daughters, Thelma Vassar and Bonnie Adams, both of Lewisburg.
A member of the Church of Christ, she was a homemaker.

Henry Daniel Majors
Services for Henry Daniel "Danny" Majors, 50, of Mankin Circle, who died Monday, May 4, at VA Medical Center, Nashville, after an extended illness, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jennings & Ayers chapel with burial in Evergreen cemetery. The Rev. Hubert Majors will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Marie Weatherly Majors of Murfreesboro; parents, Sue Everett Majors Nicodemus of Fort Worth, Texas, and Henry Larue Majors of Long Beach, Calif.; brother, Robin Majors of Hendersonville; and sister, Nancy Winn of Fort Worth, Texas.
A member of Lincoln Heights Baptist Church in Tullahoma and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, he was a native of Knoxville but lived here the past 11 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert I. Mack.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Mack Jr. of Chattanooga, Wesley Holder of Spring City; two daughters, Brenda McFarlin of Murfreesboro, Patricia Tischer of Chattanooga; sister, Nell Legg of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Tyner Church of Christ.

A native of Waverly, his parents were the late David Franklin Buchanan and Mollie Dillie Batton Buchanan.
He is survived by four granddaughters, Sherry Suits of Murfreesboro, Janice Burnette of Indiana, Karen Stahl of Nashville, Tina Nickels of Smyrna; three grandsons, James Paul Buchanan, Bruce Buchanan of Illinois, William Kenneth Buchanan of Indiana; three brothers; three sisters; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one stepgreat-great-granddaughter.

A native of Bedford County, his parents were the late Jesse Byrd and Cindy McCullough Gordon.
He is survived by his wife, Imogene Gordon; five sons, Jimmy Gordon, Robert Gordon, Denton Gordon, Frank Gordon, Ron Gordon, all of Murfreesboro; three daughters, Fannie Bogle of Bradyville, Linda Lonning of Bell Buckle, Patsy Walls of Fosterville; a half sister, May McPeak of Murfreesboro; 21 grandchildren. and 32 great-grandchildren.
A member of Short Creek Baptist Church, he was retired from the State highway department and was a retired farmer.

Memorial services for Douglas C. Wiggins, 39, Crestland Avenue, who died Sunday, May 3, at home, are set for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the gazebo at Cannonsburgh, Murfreesboro.
A native of Roswell, Ga., he is survived by his parents, Jerry Wiggins and Patti Wiggins of Roswell; two brothers, Derek Wiggins of Roswell, and Dr. Darin Wiggins of East Hampton, N.Y.
He was a computer specialist with Comdata.

Martha Eakes
Services for Mrs. Martha Belle Parker Eakes, 78, of Murfreesboro, who died Saturday, May 16, of heart failure at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville after an extended illness, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home with the Rev. She was the daughter of the late John Alford Parker and Sally Belle Allen Parker, and her husband was Claude W. Eakes, who died in 1997.
She is survived by three sons, Garey Eakes and John Eakes of Murfreesboro, and Kenneth Eakes of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Patricia Walker and Jan Smith, both of Murfreesboro; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A native of Rutherford County, she was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Sellers Cartwright of Tyler; two sons, Robert William Cartwright, Richard Ewing Cartwright, both of Tyler; two daughters, Ann C. Vannoy of Carrolton, Texas, Connie C. Kurek of Chicago, Ill; sister, Mary Sue Duffell of Nashville; and six grandchildren.
A member of the Church of Christ, he had served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1945.

His father was the late Roscoe Stafford, and his stepfather was the late Louis R. Jones.
He is survived by his mother, Edith Jones of Gainesboro; two brothers, Alvis Stafford of Franklin, Sammy Stafford of Smyrna; three sisters, Debbie Stafford, Pauline Smith, both of Antioch, and Mary Warnack of Murfreesboro.
A member of Gainesboro Church of Christ, he was a carpenter.
