Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McCullough Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Wright officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg.

Ronnie James Watson, 43, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 in Tiptonville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Jones Street Church of Christ in Newbern with Brother Armstead officiating. Burial will be in M.C.C.O. cemetery in Newbern. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Evelyn Dunavent, 86, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004 at Dyersburg Manor. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Hawthorne Baptist Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Dunavent and the Rev. Bob Dennison officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Dyersburg.

Cora Mae Reed, 77, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 at Wesley at Dyersburg Nursing Center. She was a domestic worker. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dyersburg with the Rev. Louis Hudson III officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery in Dyersburg. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was retired associate professor of Criminal Justice at Dyersburg State Community College, coached men and women's basketball, tennis and baseball, served as Newbern General Sessions Judge since 1988, a member of Newbern First United Methodist Church, where he formerly served as Chairman of the Administrative Board, served on Pastor Parrish Relation Church Committee and taught the young adult Sunday school class, former member of board directors of Shiloh Youth Home, co-Coordinator of Juvenile Diversion Program, advisory board instructors of the Job Training Partnership Act, DSCC Faculty Evaluation Committee, Student Affairs Committee and Financial Aid Committee. .
