LEWISBURG - Adrian Wooten, 87, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 at Marshall Medical Center.
Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel of the London Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Monday until the hour of the funeral at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Berea Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Horace and Sadie Carlisle Wooten and a native of Hamilton County.
He was a veteran of World War II, retired from Lewisburg Machine Works and a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Wooten, of Lewisburg; daughter, Brenda Matthews, of Lewisburg; and two grandsons, Jeffrey Matthews, of Pulaski, and Jeremy Matthews, of Lewisburg.
In lie of flowers, donations may be made to the Church Street Church of Christ Scholarship fund or School of Preaching.

FRANKLIN - Edna Jean Minturn, 92, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at Williamson Medical Center.
Services will be conducted at 3:30 Tuesday at the Chapel of London Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur Glenn, Sr. and Bertha Ewing Jean.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Lewisburg First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Huston Minturn, of Franklin; sister, Ruth Jean Welch, of Franklin; and brother, A. Glenn Jean, Jr., of Bolder, Co.
Pallbearers will be her nephews and grandnephews.

Mrs. Othelia Creel Pinkard, 54, resident of 7th Avenue, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at her son's home in Nashville.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Swango and the Rev. Bob Wells officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late Edward M. Creel and Ophie McKissack Creel.
She was first married to James L. Johnson who preceded her in death in 1980.
On April 3, 1985, she married Ray Pinkard.
She was a homemaker and member of Loyal Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Pinkard of Columbia; a daughter, Paula (Roy) Pinkard of Columbia; a son, Dwayne Johnson of Nashville; three grandchildren, Leslie Johnson, Harley Beard and Tony Pinkard; one great-grandchild, Roman Dwayne Johnson; three sisters, Norma (Kyle) Rush of Hebron, Ind., Wanda (Frank) Sealey of Lynnville and Donna (Arthur) Crigger of Lewisburg; one brother, Gaston "Bud" (Duwan) Creel of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian Crigger, Keith Miller, Mike Johnson, Tracy Miles, Tracy Sealey, Eddie Sealey, Frank Springer and Tim Creel.

Robert Crandall Rusby, 90, retired Director of Manpower with Boy Scouts of America and resident of Blackburn Lane, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital.

The body will lie-in-state from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at Rose of Sharon Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Betty Sue White Coleman.
He was employed as an automobile detail person.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include daughters, Lizzie Marie Neal of Nashville and Crystal Noel Gilbert of Pulaski; a son, Rickey Orlando Coleman of Pulaski; sisters, Brenda, Betty Jo, Helen Marie, and Julia Coleman, all of Pulaski, and Susie Hayes of Chicago, Ill.; brothers, Johnny Ray Coleman and Alvin Coleman, both of Pulaski; and eight grandchildren.

LEWISBURG - Glodena H. Stockman, 88, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, in Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Beechwood Cemetery in Cornersville.
Visitation will be from noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.
She was the daughter of the late Alford H. and Odra Travis Holland, a retired billing clerk from Ash-McNeill in Nashville and a member of the Cornersville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.

WOODHAVEN, Mich. - Mrs. Winnie Elise Childress Stansell, 90, resident of Sunshine Assisted Living in Woodhaven, Mich., died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Mich.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Larry McGranahan officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The Water Valley native was born Feb. 7, 1914, the second child of the late John Henry Childress and Lucille Vestel Childress. She attended Water Valley Schools and went on to become a hairdresser at Mrs. Donoho's.
In 1937, she married Dudley Stansell who preceded her in death in 1981.
She and her husband moved to the Detroit, Mich., area during World War II where they worked at the Willow Run bomber plant, she as a "Rosie the Riveter."
The couple settled in Wayne, Mich., and she continued working as a barber and hairdresser until they retired to Port Orange, Fla., in the 1970s. She attended the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Joseph) Abramczyk of Trenton, Mich.; a granddaughter, Christy (Douglas) Stallings of Trenton, Mich.; a grandson, Thomas (Jennifer) Abramczyk of West Bloomfield, Mich.; four great-grandchildren, Kyle Stallings, Haley Stallings, Julia Abramczyk and Emma Abramczyk; two nieces, Dolores (Phillip) Meissner of Columbia and Frances Wiley of Williamsport; and many grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Hobert and Josie Lee Childress.
Pallbearers will be nephews and cousins: Larry Wiley, Dennis Wiley, Steve Wiley, Jess Wiley, Bill Fly and Jerry Fly.
Robert Crandall Rusby

Robert Crandall Rusby, 90, retired Director of Manpower with Boy Scouts of America and resident of Blackburn Lane, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tony Brown, the Rev. Jeff Jacob and the Rev. Jim Hughes officiating. The family will visit with friends from 3-4 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, Ill., at a later date.
Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Chippewa Falls, Wis., he was the son of the late Clarence Earl Rusby and Nannie Crandall Rusby.
He was married to Helen Eileen Goss Rusby who preceded him in death on Dec. 6, 2002.
Mr. Rusby served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Communications Officer on the USS Enterprise.
He was a member of the Blue Lodge of Masons, Shriners and was of the Episcopal faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Anne (Bill) Draper of Columbia; one son, Col. (Ret.) Bill (Ann) Rusby of Camano Island, Wash.; brother-in-law, Bill (Anna Mae) Goss of Springfield, Ill.; two grandchildren, William Robert Draper and John Batts Draper, both of Columbia; and one niece, Julie Kunz of Springfield, Ill.
