MT. PLEASANT - Mr. Charlie "Old Folks" Graham, 69 , died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at his residence on First Avenue in Mt. Pleasant.
Services for Mr. Graham will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Randy Kersey officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Charlie Denton and Lillie Frances Boshers Graham. He was the husband of the late Wanda Osborne Graham, who died in 1997. He was a mechanic for Norman's Body Shop in Mt. Pleasant.
He is survived by a son, Charlie (Vicky) Graham Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; three daughters, Emily Orr of Hampshire, Robin Chapman of Duck River and Stella Grimes of Columbia; six grandchildren, Ashley Graham of Mt. Pleasant, Mary (Donnie) Bunch of Duck River, Amanda Gilbert of Columbia, Trey Gilbert of Jacksonville, Fla., and Charles Orr and Lawanda Orr of Hampshire; two sisters, Frances "B.D." Graham Howell and Lena Ophelia King of Duck River; a sister-in-law, Viola Osborne of Mt. Pleasant; a brother and sister-in-law, Eleanor and Steve Osborne of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Donny Bunch, George Chapman, Todd King, Robert Teal, Bobby Brown and Robert Gatlin. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony King and his nephews.

ATLANTA, Ga. - Thomas Elwood French IV, 48, of Atlanta, Ga., died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at his residence.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by graveside at Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The former Lewisburg resident was the son of Thomas Elwood French III of Nashville and the late Delores Buckley French. He was employed as manager of a food service company in Atlanta.
Survivors in addition to his father include a brother, Timothy French of College Grove; sisters, Theresa Evatt and Tina French, both of Nashville, and Taryn Penkala of Spring Hill.

HOHENWALD - Albert Jack Runions, 79, of Hohenwald, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Lewis County Manor.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home with Marcus Webb officiating. Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Pisgah Cemetery in Hampshire.
He was a former self-employed logger. He was the son of the late William Runions and Dixie May Webb Runions. He was the husband of the late Bertha Marie Runions.
Survivors include his son, Albert Kenneth Runions of Hohenwald and J.S. Runions of Huntsville, Ala.; daughter, Kathy Marie Talley of Pleasantville; sister, Florence Blackwell of Centerville; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

LAWRENCEBURG - John Richard Pruitt, 87, of Lawrenceburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Crockett Hospital.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home with Ricky Cox officiating. Internment will be in the Union Hill Cemetery in Leoma.
He was retired from Murray Ohio Inc. and a farmer. He was a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Marshall and Mattie Lee Olive Pruitt. He was the husband of the late Ada Viva Bunt Pruitt. He was also preceded in death by one great-grandchild.
Survivors include his son, Jackie Pruitt of Ethridge; daughters, Dorothy Perry of Athens, Ala., Peggy Moore of Summertown and Viva Sue of Leoma; brother, W.E. "Dub" Pruitt of Lawrenceburg; sister, Mary Rickets of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

MT. PLEASANT - Robert Baker Church, 83, farmer and resident of Rippey Lake Road in Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at Alterra Sterling House of Columbia.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com.
The Hickman County native was the son of the late Robert Hayden Church and Iola Brown Church.
He was married to Sophia Mae Hinson Church who preceded him in death on May 12, 1996.
Mr. Church was a graduate of Hickman County High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of Cedar Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Gail (David) Kincade of Hampshire; one son, Robert Larry (Sandra) Church of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Douglas (Ruby) Church and Billy (Alma) Church, both of Duck River; four grandchildren, Bonnie (Preston) Davis, Rebecca Kincade and Matthew Kincade, all of Hampshire and April (Scott) Davis of Lynnville; and two great-grandchildren, Cole Davis and Abby Davis.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Tucker; and one brother, Fred Church.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Kincade, Preston Davis, Scott Davis, Jeff Church, James Robert Tucker, Wayne Kimbel and Jeff Hutson.
Honorary pallbearers will be men of Cedar Hill Church of Christ, employees of Alterra Sterling House, Hospice of Highland Rim, Al Smith, Joe Gilliam and Frankie Locklar.

TROY- Mr. Herbert Brown Dorton, 83, a resident of Troy, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at Union City Health Care in Union City.
Services for Mr. Dorton will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the White-Ranson Funeral Home in Union City with Hays Grady officiating. Burial will be in the Freemont Cemetery. The family will visit friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The Duck River native was the son of the late John Pete and Sallie B. McMinn Dorton. He was the husband of Lulye Bell Dorton of Troy. He was retired farmer and a member of the Freemont Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Ethylin B. Dorton of Union City; a son and daughter-in-law, Nelson and Jane Dorton of Union City; a sister, Gladys Cooper of Columbia; two grandchildren, Chris Dorton and Ashley Dorton, both of Union City; four nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lizzie Dorton; and three brothers, Elbert Dorton, John Elmer Dorton and Henry Dorton.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Cochran, Wilford McDaniel, David Alexander, O'Neil Baker, Johnny Hill and Chris Dorton.

LAWRENCEBURG - Mary Margaret Niedergeses, 88, of Lawrenceburg, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at Crockett Hospital.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with rosary prayer vigil at 7 p.m. Sunday at Neal Funeral Home with Bishop James Niedergeses, Father Bernard Niedergeses and Father Richard Buchignani officiating. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg.
She was a retired bookkeeper and accountant for 37 years with Lawrenceburg Power System. She was the daughter of the late Mary Baltz Niedergeses and Michael Joseph Niedergeses. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include a sister, Catherine Niedergeses of Lawrenceburg; and a brother, the Rev. Bernard Niedergeses of Nashville.

Services will be conducted at noon Saturday at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church on Nashville Highway in Lewisburg. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon Saturday.
She was the daughter of the late Stewart Bishop Sr. and Olean Bishop. She was the wife of the late James Felix Crowell. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Crowell.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Crowell of Lewisburg; daughters, Sharon Franklin of Lewisburg and Clesta Turner of South Bend, Ind.; a sister, Edith Rowan of Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

DUCK RIVER - Thomas Aharon Roberson Greyeagle, 62, of Duck River, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, in Columbia.
Services were conducted Wednesday at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. J.D. Brooks officiating.
Burial was in Ring Cemetery in the Pottsville Community.
The Maury County native was the son of the late John and Rosie Kate Slaughter Roberson.
He was a retired construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Gayle Grayeagle of Duck River; daughters, Tammy Roberson, April Roberson and Carmon Roberson, all of Hickman County; a stepdaughter, Cassandra Montgomery of Duck River; a son, Thomas Roberson Jr. of Hickman County; and brothers, Paul Roberson of Franklin, Richard Roberson of Smyrna and Golden Roberson of Readyville.

Mr. Robert Lee Estes, 81, a resident of West 13th Street in Columbia, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services for Mr. Estes will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Highland Church of Christ with Bro. Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in Gibsonville Cemetery with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19.
The family will visit with friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Born in Giles County, he was the son of the late Bascom and Josie Watkins Estes and husband of Martha Thurman Estes. He was a retired custodian for the First Baptist Church of North High Street and a former employee of the Tennessee State Hatchery. He was member of Highland Church of Christ and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Eddie (Faye) Estes of Columbia; two sisters, Okalen Rowe of Fayetteville and Wilma Jean Vaughn of Hohenwald; a brother, J.B. Estes of Pulaski; three grandsons, Robin (Nancy) Workman of Summertown, John Estes of Columbia and Craig (Sandra) Pedrick of Columbia; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Chapman; and two brothers, William Estes and John Estes.
Pallbearers will be Charles T. Hubbell, Walter Shell, Bobby Thurman and the men of Highland Church of Christ.
Honorary pallbearers will be elders and deacons of Highland Church of Christ, Floyd Pinkleton, Joe Loveless, Ervin Cooper, W.L. Boshers, Dr. Gibran Naddy, Dr. Amit Choksi, Dr. Motaz Toban and Wally Rash.
