Mr. Jack D. Brady, 76, a resident of Sentinel Drive in Nashville, died Monday, April 27, 2004, at Baptist Hospital.
Services for Mr. Brady will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with the Rev. Howard Alexander officiating. Burial will be in the Brady Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late George Sr. and Anna Catherine Stanfill Brady. He was a finisher for Fiberglass Inc. in Nashville and attended the Nazarene Church.
He is survived by four sisters, Frances (Hollis) Crabtree of Antioch, Irene Burns of Santa Fe and Pauline (Earl) Nicks and Sarah (Elmer) Potts, both of Nashville; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Brady of Santa Fe.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Elton Brady, George Brady, Eldridge "Buck" Brady and Thomas Brady Jr.; and three sisters, Ethel Burns, Katie Humphrey and Rachel Brady.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Brady, Randy Brady, Frank Burns, Cleve Burns, Ray Potts and Mike Potts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Brady, Elmer Potts, Earl Nicks, Hollis Crabtree, Howard Burns, Eugene Burns, Paul Brady and Jimmy Brady.
Alma Williams David

MANCHESTER - Dr. Alma Williams David, age 87, died Sunday, April 18, 2004.
Born in Thompson Station, she is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ola Williams and sisters Catherine Patterson, formerly of Columbia and Caroline Williams. She is also preceded by her husband, Ben David.
Survivors are nieces, Nancy Cummins of Manchester and Joann Patterson Knight of Alexandria, Va.; and great-nieces, Mary Cummins and Amy Cummins.
Dr. David graduated from Middle Tennessee State Teachers' College in 1938. She began her teaching career at Highland Park Elementary School in Columbia and served in the WAVES in Washington, D.C., during WWII.
After receiving a Master's Degree from Columbia University in New York City, she returned to Nashville where she established a kindergarten program at West End Methodist Church. She completed her Ph.D. at Columbia University.
In 1953, Dr. David joined the faculty of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. During her career, she was instrumental in several organizations including the Southern Early Childhood Association and the National Association for the education of Young Children. She retired from the University in 1981.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. May 16 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Franklin. Manchester Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

MT. PLEASANT - Mr. Phillip D. Lindsey, 38, a resident of Third Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at his home.
Services for Mr. Lindsey will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens . The family will visit with friends from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of Fannie Sue Johnson Lindsey of Mt. Pleasant and the late William Alexander Lindsey. He attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Bobby Johnson of Hohenwald; sisters, Susan Azarbarzin of Murfreesboro, Linda Lindsey of Atlanta, Ga., Wanda (Larry) Finerty of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Mike (Tina) Lindsey of Mt. Pleasant and James Lindsey of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Lindsey.
Pallbearers will be Larry Finerty, Ricky Finerty, Todd Duberry, Sam Long, Mike Lindsey II and Eddie Lee Hinson.
Honorary pallbearers will be William Runions, Chris Hodge, Chris Huey, Shannon Huey and past employees of Columbia Specialties.
Memorials may be made to the Hope House.

LAWRENCEBURG - Rebecca Warren Lanning, 70, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Neal Funeral Home with Leslie Shadrick officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Hobert Hoit Warren and Opal Green Warren. She was a homemaker and member of the New Prospect Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Lanning Sr. of Lawrenceburg; daughters, Sherry Henkel of Franklin and Rhonda Frakes of Spring Hill; sons, Charles B. Lanning Jr. of Lebanon and Tim Lanning of Leoma; sisters, Henrietta Cunningham, Doris Ann Ridgeway, Delila Downey and Josephine Warren, all of Lawrence County; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or the Lawrence County High School Library.

PULASKI - Catherine Harlow, 86, died Monday, April, 26, 2004, at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Short Cemetery in Marshall County. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Kate Lowrance Massey. She was a retired nurse from Baptist Medical Center-Montclair in Birmingham, Ala.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Harlow of Pulaski; sons, Wayne Luna of Shelbyville and Lloyd Luna of Oneonta, Ala.; stepsons, Foster Harlow of Pulaski and Jack Harlow of Cleveland; daughters, Julia Franklin and Myra Stinnett, both of Hueytown, Ala.; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at Neal Funeral Home with Sam Galloway officiating. Burial will be in Ethridge Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.
She was the daughter of the late Walter Bud Edmondson and Fannie Enloe Edmondson. She was disabled and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg. She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Goodman.
Survivors include a brother, Richard Edmondson of Ethridge; and a sister, Mary Mayfield of Monrovia, Calif.

He was the son of the late William Sr. and Mary Lou Anderson Russell. He was a member of Booker Ridge Original Church of God. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pauline Russell of Mt. Pleasant; sons, Brother Wade Russell, Randy Russell and Danny (Deanna) Russell; daughters, Angela (Brian) Beckley, Rhonda (Keith) Nelson, Linda Booker and Minister Regina (Pastor Terry) Haynes; brothers, James Russell and George Russell; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

LAWRENCEBURG - Gene White, 77, of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Services were conducted Tuesday at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Clark officiating. Interment
was in the Deerfield Cemetery.
He was a retired Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Manager and area manager for 28 years for Laurel Hill Wildlife Area. He was a farmer and member of Deerfield Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack White; and a brother, Glenn White.
Survivors include his wife, Cleo Alley White; a daughter, Cathy White Brown; a son, Gilbert White; sisters, Margaret Campbell of Lawrenceburg and Virginia Powers of Toney, Ala.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with Jeff Foster officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Interment
will be in the Mimosa Cemetery.
The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late Dr. Dan and Bessie Williamson Crews and wife of the late Lon H. McKelvey. She was a retired secretary with the Agricultural Extension Service and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Dan Crews of Long Island, N.Y.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was the daughter of the late John and Grace Johnson McNeese. She was the wife of the late J.D. Wisdom. She was retired from First National Bank. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Eula Norwood.
Survivors include a son, Harold Wisdom; and sisters, Ruby West, Mable Lenox, Jenette Fry, Shirley Russell and Pearl Loveless.
