The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Thomas Newton Ladd and Jessie Ophelia Whitaker Ladd. She was a graduate of Spring Hill High School and a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie (John) Chadwell; two grandsons, Michael (girlfriend, Amanda Alexander) Wright and Tandy (girlfriend, Kay Puckett) Wright; three great-grandchildren, Alexis Wright, Benjamin Wright and William Alley; two sisters, Mrs. Doris (Jimmy) Cranford and Mrs. Ruby Curtis; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Dorothy Ladd, all of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Graham; a sister, Ruth Smith; and a brother, Billy Ladd.
Pallbearers are Donald Walters, Arch Warren, Tim Dillehay, Branden Marino, Jamie Brocker, James Grayland Huey and Ray Messick.

He was the son of the late Elvis Harper and Virgie Mary Hensley Harper. He was employed at TNT Sawmill.
Survivors include sons, Richard Harper and Larry Harper, both of Hohenwald; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Thomas of Hohenwald; a brother, Glenn Harper of Hohenwald; a sister, Aileen Calvert of Kansas, Okla.; two grandsons and five step-grandchildren.
Richard 'Bud' 'Bird Dog' Clifft

Services were conducted Saturday at Neal Funeral Home with Jeff Smith officiating. Burial with full military honors was in Henryville Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Willie E. Clifft and Lou Cindy Yoss Clifft. He was retired from Murray, Inc., was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, a member of the American Legion and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a brother, George Clifft of Summertown; sisters, Felicia Riley of Waynesboro, Mattie Waddell of Mt. Pleasant, Ola Barnett of Ethridge, Betty Smith of Summertown, Geneva Bennett of Fairview and Linda Sue Cotton of Sheridan, Ark.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Clare Kirk and Olive Brooks Kirk. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High and Middle Tennessee State University and taught in the Franklin City Schools for a number of years. She was a member of the Berea Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Stephen B. Warf of Columbia; a granddaughter, Bannar (Keith) Rawlings of Columbia; a sister, Rachel Vick of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Clarinda Kirk; and three brothers, Louis Kirk, Sam Kirk and Burton Kirk.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Roger Earl Hay, 72, known as the "Muffin Man" and a resident of Dimple Court in Columbia, died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services for Mr. Hay will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with the Rev. Howard Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Eugene and Eva Brady Hay and husband of Evalena McCrary Hay. He started his career in the bakery industry back in 1949 and retired as owner of the Sweet Shop after 34 years as a baker.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael (Mary Jane) Hay of Mt. Pleasant; a stepson, Jimmie L. (Virginia) Harris of Hampshire; a sister, Mildred Hay Dale of Columbia; a brother, Howard Wesley Hay of Columbia; grandchildren, Michael Hay of Mt. Pleasant, Roger Hay of Columbia, Ava Frost of Columbia and Sharon Denise Parmer of Hampshire; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Marie Coffee; three sisters, Lorene Hay Haskins, Dorothy Hay Ragsdale and Marie Hay Jett; and one brother, Warren "Sam" Leon Hay.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hay, Roger Hay, Pete Frost, Mark Markham, Calvin Atkins, Pete Frierson, Tony Simmons, Michael McCrary, Ray McCrary, Sammy Haskins and Larry Ketchum.

Mrs. Judy I. Hamilton Williams, 58, a resident of Caspian Drive in Culleoka, died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services for Mrs. Williams will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Rick Points officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Born in Urbana, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Nolia Planke Hamilton and wife of Douglas Williams. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and undying source of happiness to all who knew her and worked as a custodian for the Columbia Treatment Plant.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Tagg of Springfield, Ohio; two sons, Kevin Miller of Columbia and Keith Miller of Springfield, Ohio; four grandchildren, Nicholle Tagg and Amanda Tagg, both of Springfield, Ohio, and Caitlyne Miller and Nathan Miller, both of Columbia; four sisters, Christine Page of West Liberty, Ohio, Georgia Hamilton of Tipedo, La., and Ernie Tyree and Patty Watson, both of Springfield, La.; and a brother, Kenneth Hamilton of Springfield, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Nicohles and Bea Stillwell; and a brother, Guy Hamilton Jr.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in Diana Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She was a native of the Diana Community of Giles County and was retired from the Maremont Corporation. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Edwin Brashears.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy Brashears of Manchester; a twin sister, Sarah Whitworth of Pulaski; four grandsons and three great-grandchildren.
