Mr. Paul Samuel Andrews, 66, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at his residence on Westover Drive in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mr. Andrews will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with the Reverend Bill Mathis and Rick Points. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Ditrick and Mary Charlene Burgess Andrews. He was the husband of Betty Ann McKinzie Andrews. Mr. Andrews was a preaching deacon, promoted Gospel Music in Summertown in which he sang in several quartets. He was a member of Franklin Avenue Christian Center Church of God of Prophecy in Lewisburg.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by an uncle, M.C. Witherspoon of Columbia; two cousins, Mary (Carroll) Hughes of Lubeck, Texas, and Jo Ann Longoria of Boerne, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Allen and Mary Ruth Dean of Portland, Ore.; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Kapelski of Highland, Ill., and Maxie Hill of Columbia; a brother-in-law, RM (Kay) McKinzie of Columbia.
Pallbearers will be Monty Gilliam, Nicky McKinzie, Matthew McKinzie, Allen Dean, Paul Howard, Clyde Williams, Horton Posey, and James Mathis. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Franklin Avenue Christian Center Church of God of Prophecy, Dr. Stephen Simmons, Dr. Darrel Rinehart, Dr. Gibran Naddy, Dr. John Maloof, Dr. Brian Jackson and Dr. Robert McArthur.
Memorials may be made to the Franklin Avenue Christian Center Church of God of Prophecy in Lewisburg.

CENTERVILLE William Nevil "Bill" Steber Sr., 61, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004, at Veteran's Hospital in Nashville.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home with burial at 1 p.m. in Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery at Pegram.
He was the son of the late Robert Harold Steber Sr. and Ruth Nevil. He was in business as a salesman.
Survivors include his son, William "Bill" Steber Jr. of Murfreesboro; daughter, Heather Sharisse Steber of Centerville; brother, Bob Steber Jr. of Birmingham, Ala.; and one grandson.
Maggie Sue McLean Jones

LAWRENCEBURG - Maggie Sue McLean Jones, 100, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at NHC-Scott.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Neal Funeral Home with Collin Stringer officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
She was the daughter of the late Cullen P. McLean and Lavenia Lumpkins. She was a homemaker and member of College Place Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Moody Jones.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Holt of Lawrenceburg; a son, Charles Thomas Jones of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Howard McLean of Nashville; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Ruby Jeanette Holloway Ashmore

Mrs. Ruby Jeanette Holloway Ashmore,83, a resident of Westover Drive, died Tuesday, February 24, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ashmore will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Andrew Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Summertown native was the daughter of the late Lee A. and Lucy Ann Lee Holloway. She was the widow of P.B. Ashmoreand had been a resident of Columbia for 56 years. She was retired from Parks-Belk and was a member of the Jackson Heights Church of Christ. She was a seamstress and loved to crochet and travel, having made many trips to California.
She is survived by nieces nephews, cousins, and care givers, James Albert and Martha Morgan. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Pigg; two brothers, Curtiss Holloway and Aaron Holloway.
Pallbearers will be the men of the Jackson Heights Church of Christ.

LEWISBURG - Kevin Charles Brown, 26, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at his home in Sevier County.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at London Funeral Home with burial in Lynnwood Cemetery.
He was the son of Chuck and Beverly Isbell Brown of Lewisburg. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, J.R. and Louise Isbell.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Holder Brown of Lewisburg; a sister, Kelly Joe Fuller of Lewisburg; and paternal grandparents, Milton and Wanda Brown of Lewisburg.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by graveside in Swiss Cemetery with L.C. Loveless officiating. Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at McDonald Funeral Home.
The Hohenwald native was the daughter of the late Enos "Squire" Hickman and Laura Baker Lankford. She worked for Sears in the Real Estate Division Atlanta Office for 50 years.
She is also preceded in death by a brother, Hubert Lankford; and three sisters, Freda Garner, Ruby Willingham and Eva Lankford.
Survivors include a sister, Nina Bennett of Hohenwald.

MT. PLEASANT - Ray Jordan Ohman, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia.
Services will be conducted in Joliet, Ill.
He was the son of the late Paul and Celia Jordan Ohman. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired medical salesman for a laboratory supply company.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Ohman; and a brother, Clifton Ohman.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Thompson Ohman of Mt. Pleasant; daughters, Julie Gilkey of Hohenwald, Nancy Ohman of San Pedro Calif., Gail Baker of Belaire Texas, and Sarah Madrid of Lima, Peru; a brother, Carl Ohman of New Orleans La.; a sister, Celia Ohman of Blue Island, Ill.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Tennie Clifton and James Carson Barnickle. She was the wife of the late Alvin James Henry Moore and a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughters, Gertrude LaCroix of Ashland City, Cora Lee Gray and Patricia Wells, both of Pulaski, and Martha Mize of Anthony Hill; sons, Doyce Allen Moore of Lawrenceburg and Charles Moore of Kedron; a sister, Grace Womble of Lawrenceburg; 24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Rebecca Brown and William L. Meyers Sr. She was the wife of the late Lincoln Johnson.

GULFPORT, Miss. - Mr. Bennie Bedford Austin, 86, resident of Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Miss., died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Harrison County, Miss.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with the Rev. David McGregor and the Rev. Jimmy Horton officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Hardin County native was the son of the late Roe Austin and Tennie Qualls Austin. On Dec. 20, 1953, he married Nannie Rieves Austin who preceded him in death June 1, 1992.
Mr. Austin lived most of his life in Murfreesboro and was a member of the Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army during World War II, then joined the U.S. Air Force in 1947. Following his retirement from the Air Force in 1962, he worked with the fire department at the V.A. Hospital in Murfreesboro until 1979. He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Austin (Glen) Blasdel of Pahrump, Nev.; one son, Brad (Karon) Austin of Beaver Creek, Colo.; former daughter-in-law, Connie Austin of Ft. Collins, Colo.; two grandchildren, Jessica Austin and Matthew Austin, both of Ft. Collins, Colo.; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Irene (Ray Thomas) Brown and Mrs. Sarah (Cecil) Duncan, both of Columbia, and Christine Woods of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Berlon Austin; and two sisters, Lou Thelma Horton and Annie Mae Seaton.
Pallbearers will be E.J. Franks, Jerry Hardison, Matthew Austin, Ray Brown, Cecil Duncan, Tommy Duncan, Ronnie Woody and J.T. Woods. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews.
