Griffin was the son of Rev. Archie C. Griffin Sr. and Georgia Griffin of Chattanooga. He was a pastor at Round Hill AME Church, Powell Chapel AME Church in Giles County, Bethel AME Church in South Pittsburg, Quinn Chapel AME Church in Chattanooga, Clayborne Chapel AME Church in Knoxville, BethelChapel AME Church in Columbia and Woodfork Chapel AME Church in Shelbyville.
In addition to his wife Dorean, survivors include a daughter, Jackie; sons, Phillip Bruce Griffin Jr. and Derrick Griffin; sisters, Etta, Cora, Florence, Leota and Tommie; and a brother, A.C. Griffin II.

Services were conducted Saturday from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
A native of Noxapater, Miss., she was the daughter of the late George Miller and Laura Estella Hickman Farish and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Chambers was a graduate of UT-Memphis and was a registered nurse for Dr. Wheat and the retired industrial nurse at Heil-Quaker Corporation.
In addition to her husband, Marshall Chambers of Lewisburg, survivors include a stepdaughter, Carolyn Cromer of Columbia; a brother, Robert Farish of Noxapater, Miss.; sisters, Agnes Bridges of Louisville, Miss., and Sybil Cotton of Little Rock, Ark.

She was a native of Davidson County. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Taj Ledford.
She is survived by her mother, Joy Jean Ledford; and a sister, Sharon Lee of Lewisburg.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Marvin E. White and Effie Lee Priest White and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Graymere Church of Christ and the Maury County Horsemen's Association. Mr. White served as Chairman of the Maury County Charity Horseshow benefiting Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
He married the former Anne Mullins Sept. 11, 1948, who preceded him in death Oct. 27, 1998.
He is survived by two daughters, Sheila Anne White of Nashville and Pam White (Jay) Lawrence of Los Angeles, Calif.; and several cousins.
Honorary pallbearers include Gary Kimmons, Jay Lawrence, James Thomas Bell, Tony Kimmons, Betty Crabtree, Donna Kimmons, Jennifer Loftin Barrier, Cliff Loftin and Wanda Knudson.

A native of Mansfield, Ohio, he was a 1998 graduate of Columbia Central High School. He served in the electrician's apprenticeship program at Nashville Tech and Nashville Union Hall. He was a member of Union Local #429 of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Union Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Watson Moyer of Columbia; two daughters, Ashlynn Mikeala Moyer and Brianna Mary Moyer, both of Columbia; his father and stepmother, Timothy Ray Moyer and Bonnie Moyer of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Erica Moyer Prince of Columbia; maternal grandparents, William and Mary Greene Hayes of Columbia; paternal grandmother, Joy Jackson Moyer of Jamestown; two stepsisters, Glenda Thomason and Samantha Thomason, both of Columbia; two nieces, Chantel Prince and Danielle Thornsberry, both of Columbia; two nephews, Dalton Tilghman and Carter Tilghman, both of Columbia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and step-nieces and nephews.

O'Brien was born Jan. 30, 1935, in Shinewell, Okla., the daughter of Alvie E. Prater and Leona Shelton Prater.
She was a member of the Protestant Church and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Scrabble and dominoes. She liked to talk and visit with others, she never met a stranger and always liked to hear a good joke.

The Giles County native was the son of Dora Watkins Chapman and the late J.T. Chapman. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked at Murray Ohio. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Steve Chapman.

Mr. Etheridge, president and owner of Etheridge Cabinet Shop, Inc., was a highly regarded area businessman whose work in fine cabinetry and interiors is found in homes, businesses, banks, train cars, and yachts throughout the United States. Among his accomplishments were the famous train cars, the American-European Express, featured on numerous travel television programs. Mr. Etheridge was well-known in the area for his stand on environmental protection issues, particularly issues dealing with the St. Andrew Bay, his involvement with youth baseball, and his love of fishing and golfing.
Mr. Etheridge is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert T. Etheridge, Sr.; two sisters, Sharron Etheridge of Panama City, Fla. and Martha Shaw (Mack) of Columbia; his wife, Dr. Sandra Y. Etheridge; two sons, Dr. Tom Etheridge (Dr. Luanne Rolly) of Corvallis, Ore., and Lee Etheridge (Lisa) of Friendship, Wis.; his daughter, Lisa E. Red (Chuck) of Lynn Haven; and eight grandchildren, Alison, Molly, Katie, Haley, Rose, Logan, Charlie, and one yet to be named. Mr. Etheridge was predeceased by a brother, Dr. George Etheridge of Memphis, Tennessee.
Visitation was held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Southerland Family Funeral Home on 19th Street in Panama City. A funeral service followed at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tom Etheridge Foundation for support of youth baseball are requested. Donations may be directed to the foundation at Vision Bank. The Maury County native was the son of the late Cordie Lee and Bessie Alsup Cheek and was the husband of the late Margaret Galbraith Cheek who died in 2003.
He was retired owner and operator of the Market Basket in Columbia and was a former long-time resident of Tom Littlejohn Road. He served our country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the Junior Order of Mechanics and a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his children, Beryl (Todd) Turner of Hickman and Thomas (Tereasa) Cheek of Columbia; three sisters, Gladys Tindell, Mary Louise Rummage and Eunice Pullen, all of Columbia; a twin brother, Morris L. Cheek of Columbia; grandchildren, Matthew Cheek of Columbia, Kelly (Tonya) Cheek, Marty Pruitt and Candice (Lupe) Perez, all of Nashville; great-grandchildren, Paul Cheek and Brianna Perez, both of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ercel Cheek and J.V. Cheek.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Cheek, Kelly Cheek, Tommy Helton, Josh Helton, Billy Manier and Marty Pruitt.
