Robert Maximillian Fuhrman
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home with Sam Livingston officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He was the son of the late Robert M. Fuhrman Sr. and Margaret Sullivan Fuhrman. He was retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Corrections employed at the Middle Tennessee Correction Center. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Fuhrman, and his second wife, Wilton Fuhrman.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Davis Fuhrman of Hohenwald; sons Michael Fuhrman of Ft. Stockton, Texas, and Timothy Fuhrman of Upland, Calif.; daughters, Linda Honeycutt of Dallas, Texas, Katherine Hurt of Euless, Texas, and Cynthia Fuhrman of Upland, Texas; stepdaughters, Wanda Hudson and Connie Davis, both of Hohenwald; one brother, Bill Fuhrman of Savannah, Ga.; and a sister, Dale Camp of Royal Oak, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Jo Ann Yelverton
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nettie Mae Hill Hedgecoth. She was retired from Frito Lay and was a military wife and mother.
Survivors include a son, Billy Yelverton of Columbia; and a daughter, La Jean Tietze of Nashville.
Mildred Louise Capps Long
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the New Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church at Rally Hill with the Rev. Joe D. Brooks Jr. officiating. Mrs. Long donated her body to Meharry Medical School. Interment
will be at a later date in Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
She was the daughter of the late Miles Mayo Capps Sr. and Bessie Lee Greer.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rosa Mae Trapp Cheek
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday from London Funeral Home in Lewisburg with burial in Cochran Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.
She was the daughter of the late John and Abigail Trapp. She was retired from the U.T. Dairy Experiment Station and a member of the Yell Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hubert Cheek; and a sister, Birdie Suggs.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Bales of Maryville; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Maylon Ray 'Tommy' Hayes Jr.
Graveside service for Mr. Hayes will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Polk Memorial Gardens with Wendell Robinson officiating. The family will visit with friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Williams Columbia Funeral Home.
The Florence, Ala., native was the son of Maylon Ray Sr. and Artie Dodd Hayes of Columbia. He was the husband of Darcy Palmer Hayes of Rockville, Md.
He was a Computer Consultant for Government Contracts of Student Loan Programs. He lived his early childhood years in Columbia and was a graduate of Columbia Central High School in 1971. He was an avid jogger and a computer whiz.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Heather Craig of Rockville, Md.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Hayes, Billy Heard, Ronnie Heard, Owen Burns, Michael Burns and Christopher Hayes.
Cynthia Mae Drake
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Queen Ann Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Everbright Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Cynthia Ann and John Wesley Gilbert and a native of Giles County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh B. Drake; a son, Buford Tear; and a daughter, Mary Crutch.
Survivors include a sister, Louise Nelson of Louisville, Ky.; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
John William Lyman Jr.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Union Church of Christ with Chris Frierson officiating.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday at the church.
He was the son of the Mary Pearl Lyman and the Late John William Sr. and was a native of Hampshire. He attended school in Hampshire and Clark High School.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Lyman; children, John William Lyman III, Peggy, Dewayne, Tina, Timmy and Angie; sisters, Delois Pointer-Green, Margaret Brooks and Pauline Lyman; a brother, Jerry Lyman; and several grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Giles Memory Garden.
The Giles County native was the son of the late Thomas Foster and Lucille Hughes Williams. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Frito Lay.
Survivors include daughters, Phyllis Ann Glossup and Carol Lynn Montgomery, both of Pulaski; a brother, Harold Williams of Pulaski; sisters, Carol Smith of Pulaski and Jannette Suttle of Las Vegas, Nev.; and six grandchildren.
Mary Bell Nash

She was the daughter of the late Bessie Primm and Walter Jackson Nash.
Survivors include sisters, Barbara Baker of Columbia and Ora Lee Maddox of Duck River; and brothers, Aubrey Nash and Wallace Nash, both of Lyles.
Charlie Hobby

He was the son of the late Emmette Loyd and Ophelia Agent Hobby. He was retired from the Yellow Freight Co. in Nashville.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Ann Osborne of Spring Hill; brothers, Jerry Marcus Hobby of Culleoka and William E. Hobby Jr. of Nashville; and two grandchildren.
Lassie Mae Lomax

The Lewis County native was the daughter of the late William Henry and Agnes Talley Sharp. She was a housewife and widow of Jesse Paul Lomax.
Survivors include a son, Carl Lomax of Hohenwald; daughters, Bettie Carroll and Wilma Bowen, both of Hohenwald; a brother, Barney Sharp of Hohenwald; a sister, Hazel Sharp of Hohenwald; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Flossie Woodward
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cornersville Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Short Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late William Carroll and Martha Herald Maynard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, William Edward Woodward; and a sister, Val Maynard LaFever and a grandson.
She was retired from sales for jewelry department stores. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Smith of Mill Valley, Calif., and Marilyn Caruso of St. Charles, Ill.; a sister, Lucille Anderson of Baxter; and three grandchildren.
Joe Willie Hardison
Services will be conducted at noon Saturday at Westwood Community Church with the Rev. Edward Anderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The body will lie-in-state from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Roundtree, Napier & Ogilvies Franklin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spratts Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Hardison Sr. and Zell Hardison. He was a member of Westwood Community Church.
Survivors include his devoted friend, Agnes Hardison; a son, Gary Johnson; a daughter, Stephanie Hardison; brothers, Rev. Cecil (Lou) Hardison Jr., James Hardison and Jessie Hardison of Spring Hill; and sisters, Julia (Leslie) Yeargin and Lena (John) Boleyjack.
Donald Paul Ward
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday with full military honors at Lynnville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve W. Vanhoozer and the Rev. Joe Mason officiating. Burial will be in the Lynnwood Cemetery.
He was an active member of the Lynnville United Methodist Church and a Master Sergeant in the Tennessee Air National Guard in Nashville. He was a Boy Scout Leader with troop 463 for five years and a member of the American Legion Post 224.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Lanier Ward of Lynnville; parents, Donald and Shirley Ward of Kennesaw, Ga.; a son, Donald Wesley Ward of Spring Hill; a daughter, Elizabeth Ward of Lynnville; sisters, Suzanne Gatliff of Watkinsville, Ga., Connie Ward of Athens, Ga., and Gail Kohler of Albany, Ga.; a brother, Michael Ward of Athens, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lynnville United Methodist Church and Lynnville Fire & Rescue.

Ira 'Andy' Anderton
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Providence Baptist Church in Hatton, Ala., with Royce Wilkerson officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in the Providence Church Cemetery.
The Lawrence County native was the son of the late Edmond Sherman and Mima Burnett Mardis Anderton. He was a member of the Lewisburg First Church of the Nazarene. He served his country in Japan during World War II in the U.S. Army. He worked for TVA and was a retired electrician with Reynold's Aloy Company of Sheffield, Ala.
Survivors include a brother, Clebie Anderton of Decatur, Ala.; daughters, Wanda Wallace and Linda Liggett, both of Lewisburg; sons, Wade Anderton of Maryville, Edward Joe Anderton of Collierville, Jerry Anderton of Florence, Ala., and Marvin Anderton of Town Creek, Ala.; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
