Mr. James E. 'Jim' Turnbow
Mr. James E. "Jim" Turnbow, 65, retired driver for Ryder Trucking Company, died Friday, June 7, 2002, at his residence on Cliff White Road.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Roberts officiating.
Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19.
The family will visit with friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The Perry County native was the son of the late Charlie and Mable Morgan Turnbow.
He served as a radio operator in Korea and was a member of Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19 and the United Auto Workers.
Survivors include two daughters, Pam Belcher of Dayton, Ohio, and Karen Turnbow of Alaska; a sister, Wilma Morris of Linden; two grandchildren, Tahna Madewell and Jason Madewell, both of Dayton, Ohio; and two nephews.
Active pallbearers are Jerry Kennedy, Billy Kennedy, Rick Connors and Bobby Isabel.
Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Ben Gardiner and employees of Ryder Trucking Company.
Chris Cravens
William Christopher "Chris" Cravens, 34, employee of Nissan Corporation and resident of Kensington Place, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Riverside United Methodist Church with the Rev.Ray Newell officiating. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Bartle Funeral Home in Liberty, Ky. with burial in Glenwood Cemetery in Liberty.
The Liberty, Ky. native was the son of Elene Edwards Cravens of Liberty, Ky. and the late Daniel Joseph Cravens.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Voorhies Cravens of Columbia; two daughters, Taylor Leanne Cravens and Emily Suzanne Cravens, both of Russell Springs, Ky.; one stepdaughter, Allye Kathryn Leland of Columbia; two brothers, Jonathan A.Cravens and Michael S. Cravens, both of Liberty, Ky.; and one sister, Jaimie M. Hamilton of Houstonville, Ky.
Pallbearers were Tony Edwards, Jeff Edwards, Kevin Kinnard, Shawn Pierce, Byron Cravens, David Dorsey, and Steven Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Kyle Clemmer and employees of Frontier-Xterra Final Base Trim at Nissan.
John Will Lockridge
John Will Lockridge, 77, of Columbia, died Sunday, May 31, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Brown officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post 170.
He was the son of the late William and Carrie Mae Lockridge. He was the husband of the late Jennie Mae McFall Lockridge. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired Monsanto employee, member of the American Legion Post 170 and a deacon in the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Gerald Lockridge of Chicago, Ill., Jerome Lockridge of Bolivia, John W. Lockridge Jr. of Belleville, Ill., Michael Lockridge of Columbia and Rodney Lockridge of Nashville; daughters, Gloria Harlan of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Yvette, Troylene and Deneen Lockridge, all of Columbia; brothers, Saint Clair Lockridge of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Florence Lockridge of Huntsville, Ala., and Rosie Lee Crosby and Geneva Patrick, both of Columbia; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Thomas Edward Mitchell
PULASKI -- Thomas Edward Mitchell, 81, died Thursday, June 19, 2003, at his residence in Decatur, Ala.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Giles Memory Gardens with burial to follow.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Mitchell of Decatur, Ala.; a daughter, Cindy Mitchell of Decatur, Ala.; a son, Edward Bruce Mitchell of Hendersonville; a brother, Guy Mitchell of Pulaski; and two grandsons.

Jane Bradley
CENTERVILLE -- Jane Bradley, 82, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at McDonald Funeral Home with Bert Mathis and Bill McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Centerville.
She was the daughter of the late Paul Herron and Pearl Miles. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Thelbert J. Bradley of Centerville; sons, Michael Bradley of Centerville and Stephen Bradley of Woodstock, Ill.; daughters, Janet Lambert of Franklin and Sandra Mebus of Dallas; sisters, Dorothy Rotoni of Nashville and Irene Wilson of Fairview; and seven grandchildren.
Lyndal McCarter Fisher
CORNERSVILLE -- Lyndal McCarter Fisher, 84, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, June 8, 2002, in NHC Hillview Healthcare.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Beechwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
He was a native of Laughton, Okla., and the son of the late Newton Greenberry and Murry Lee McCollum Fisher. He is survived by nieces and nephews.

James Willborn Riggs Jr.
LAWRENCEBURG -- James Willborn Riggs Jr., 88, of Lawrenceburg, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at Crockett Hospital.
There was no visitation, and the remains were cremated.
A native of Baytown, Texas, he was preceded in death by his parents, James W. Riggs Sr. and Willie Eva Cromby Riggs.
He was a retired physics professor at Loma Linda University and a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ross Riggs of Lawrenceburg; sons, Charles David Riggs of Carthage, N.C., and Dr. J. Daniel Riggs of Lawrenceburg; and three granddaughters.
Gerald Devaugh Burkeen
Gerald Devaugh Burkeen, 43, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Macedonia church of Christ with James McCune officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Baxter Brothers Funeral Home.
Survivors include his parents, Lossie and Mamie Burkeen; a daughter, Bettina Harlan; brothers, Carl Wayne and Barry Burkeen; and sisters, Marilyn Braden and Jackie Brown.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Burkeen.
Pallbearers will be Antonio Lewis, Darryl Crawford, Steve Crawford, Tim Darrington, Tony Jones and Johnny Marks.
James Robert 'Bobby' Hopkins
LEWISBURG -- James Robert "Bobby" Hopkins, 58, died Thursday, June 19, 2003, in Marshall Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday from at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Calvin Hardison officiating. Burial will be in the Ring Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Gifford and Mary Elizabeth Moore Hopkins, a retired foreman at Walker Die Casting and a member of the Antioch Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include a daughter, Kim Darnell of Lewisburg; a son, Scotty Wayne Hopkins of Lewisburg; a brother, Donny Hopkins of Lewisburg; a sister, Bambi England of Columbia; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Hopkins, and a brother, Dean Hopkins.
Nellie Bee Jenkins
SPRING HILL -- Nellie Bee Jenkins, 60, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, at Williamson Medical Center.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Spring Hill High School with James Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the school. The body will lie in state from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Roundtree, Napier & Ogilvies Franklin Funeral Home.
She was an employee of Spring Hill High School. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Ruby Oden. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a brother Johnny Henry Oden Jr., and a sister Winnie Baugh.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Bobby Jenkins of Spring Hill; sons, Ernest Oden, Bobby Jenkins, Jr. and Vance Jenkins, all of Spring Hill; daughter, Donna (LaVentress) Bullock of Kitzingen, Germany; brothers, Mose Oden and Jimmy Oden, both of Spring Hill, and Billy Oden of Nashville; sisters, Priscilla Lee of Spring Hill, Lillie Brown of Franklin and Ruby Ann McCullom of Blanche; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her nephews and Deacons of Flint Valley P. B. Church.
Doris Nell Sims
FLORENCE, Ala. -- Doris Nell Sims, 73, of Lawrenceburg, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Greenhill Funeral Home with E.J. Polk officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
A native of Loretto, she was a housewife and a member of the Baptist church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther Luke Fisher and Elsie Fisher.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Sims of Lawrenceburg; sons, James Ronnie Sims of Lawrenceburg, Bobby Sims of Huntsville, Ala., and Stephen Donnie Sims of Collinwood; daughters, Dianne Hollis of Athens, Ala., Linda Farris of Jackson and Tina Harris of Lynnville; a brother, Robert Lee Fisher of Loretto; sisters, Beatrice Beasley of Nashville and Stella Pierce of Jackson; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Billy Henson
LAWRENCEBURG -- Billy Henson, 57, died Friday, June 20, 2003, at Crockett Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Neal Funeral Home with the Rev. Clifton Johnston and the Rev. David Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Leonard "Dick" and Alene Clayton Henson. He was a retired postal clerk, a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Henson.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Sullivan Henson of Lawrenceburg; a daughter, Vicki Henson Burks of Lawrenceburg; a son, Carter Henson of Lawrenceburg; brothers, Donald Henson of Knoxville and Jack Henson of Woodhaven, Mich.; a sister, Linda Hargrove of Willis, Mich.; and one grandson.
Ann Sharron Wyatt Doan
Mrs. Ann Sharron Wyatt Doan, 59, a resident of Fly Road in Santa Fe, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Services for Mrs. Doan were conducted Thursday at Williams Columbia Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will be in Huron Valley Cemetery in Flat Rock, Mich.
Born in Detroit and a longtime resident of Taylor, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Dewey Wyatt and Geneva Odell Wyatt Leiby and wife of the late Paris Doan. She was a retired clerk from Spring Arbor in Belleville, Mich., and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Spring Hill.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah (David) Jones of Columbia; a son, Michael (Christine) Doan of Virginia; a sister, Brenda Callahan of Wyandotte, Mich.; three brothers, David Wayne (Marsha) Caudill and Austin Dale (Melissa) Caudill, both of Alabama, and William Lynn (Levella) Tobias of Michigan; five grandchildren, Lance Doan, Cody Doan, Emily Doan and Stephanie Doan, all of Virginia, and Heather Jones of Smyrna; special companion, Jimmy Stover of Santa Fe; five stepchildren, Millard (Sena) Doan, Tom (Alice) Doan, Helen (Gene) Kilgore, Barbara Lee and Janice Frost, all of Michigan; seven step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Mark Caudill, Kenneth Wyatt and James Wyatt.
