Mr. James Edward Prince, 80, a resident of Knud Drive in Columbia, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services for Mr. Prince will be conducted Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Reverend John Rushing officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Williamson County native was the son of the late Joe Allen and Eula Maude Thompson Prince. He was the husband of Katherine Stanfill Prince. Mr. Prince was retired from the United States Army and served during World War II. He was a member of the 82nd Air Born and served in Europe in the Battle of Buldge. He was awarded the Purple Heart and was of Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Fay (Kenny) Buchanan of Central City, IL; two sons, Gilbert (Diane) Prosser of Culleoka, TN and James Morton of Santa Fe, TN; one granddaughter, Leilani (Allan) Fox ; great-grandchildren, James Daniel Fox and Deborah Katlin Fox both of Santa Fe, TN; four step-grandchildren, Taylor Hurt, Keshia Hurt both of Culleoka, TN, Justin Alman and Steven Alman both of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Stella Prince Stanley; three brothers, Tom, Joe and Hugh Prince; one step-daughter, Debbie Prosser.
Pallbearers will be Joe Prince, Eddie Prince, Bobby Bond, Bobby Brooks, Roy Johnson, Ricky Stanfill and Alan Fox.
Honorary pallbearers will be D.B. (Pee Wee) Johnson, Butch Schrader, Wayne Stacey, Neal Barker, Ken Huff, Dr. Robert Bain, Dr. Robert Mac Arthur, Dr. Thomas Farmer, Staff and Employees of the Rosewood Manor Nursing Home and Quality First Home Health Care.

Mr. George Elton Lindsey, 55, a resident of Anderson Creek Road in Ethridge, Tennessee, died Thursday, April 7, 2005, in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mr. Lindsey will be conducted Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Brother Dickey Lindsey officiating.
Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late George W. and Ethel Conner Lindsey. He was the husband of Glenda Floyd Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey worked in maintenance at the Graymere Country Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one sister, Mary Dale Brumit of Santa Fe, TN; two brothers, James Lindsey of Ethridge, TN and Charlie Ray Lindsey of Elizabethtown, KY; mother-in-law, Florene Gossett of Hohenwald, TN; brother-in –law, Terry Floyd of Hohenwald, TN; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Harvell, Jimmy Harvell, Raymond Conner, Terry Floyd, James C. Lindsey, Donald Brumit and Andy Brumit. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Graymere Country Club and William Pewitt.

Mr. Grover C. Davis, 71, a resident of Williamsport Pike, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be conducted Monday, April 11, 2005 at 10:00 am at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Dusty Crumley officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late James I. and Maude Lee Scott Davis and husband of the late Flora Mai Simmons Davis. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Ann Austin of Columbia and Betty Faye (Roy) Westbrook of Paris, TX; a son, Grover C. Davis, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; eight grandchildren, Zackary Austin, Alexander McClendon and Jessie Lee Davis, all of Columbia, Joshua Westbrook, Jonathan Westbrook, Linda Westbrook, Christina Westbrook and Roy Westbrook, Jr. all of Paris, TX; two great grandchildren; two brothers, F.A. (Elizabeth) Davis of Columbia and Charles Frazier (Louise) Davis of Lebanon; a sister, Judy Moncrief of Charlestown, IN.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

PULASKI -- William Henry Cheatham, 71, of Pulaski, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the East Hill Church of Christ. The body will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Dot Cheatham of Pulaski; a sister, Margaret Carney of Whiteland, Ind.; nephews, and a niece.

LEWISBURG -- Mary Elizabeth Touchstone, 85, of Lewisburg, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at NHC Healthcare.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Old Orchard Cemetery.
She was a native of Giles County, the daughter of the late Arthur and Della Mai Barham Bledsoe. She was a retired sales clerk and member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include a cousin, Tom Barham of Lewisburg; and a niece and nephew.

SUMMERTOWN -- Randall Gene Buie, 47, died Sunday, July 28, 2002, at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was the son of the late William Buie and the late Mary Jane Staggs Buie Cummings.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Neal Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, with Bill Webb officiating.
Burial will be in Summertown Cemetery.

Dr. John Ervin
Dr. John Ervin, 71, retired from Columbia Rock Products and resident of the Campbellsville Pike, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Maury Regional Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Ray Plumlee and Elizabeth Simes.

Virginia Francis Walker Williams
LAWRENCEBURG -- Virginia Francis Walker Williams, 82, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003 at Gallatin Health Care.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Kidd Cemetery with Terry Roberts officiating.
Burial will be in the cemetery following the service.
She was the daughter of the late Lester and Mona Stone Walker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include sisters, Gladys Harman and Pearl Wilson, both of Bowling Green, Ky., Rethel Smith of Carmel, Ind., and Carine Moss, of Somerset, Ky.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward "Pete" Williams.

SPRING HILL -- Lucille F. Bowman, 86, died Friday Jan. 25, 2002, at her home in Spring Hill.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home with Don Noble and Phillip Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was the daughter of the late William and Jessie Fagala, a co-founder of Bowman's Laundry and a member of the Spring Hill United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, G.W. Bowman of Spring Hill; two sons, Robert Bowman of Indiana and Thomas Bowman of Fairfield Glade; a daughter, Jane Meacham of Culleoka; four grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
