Mr. George Leland Littlejohn
Mr. George Leland Littlejohn, 80, former resident of Carol Drive in Columbia, died Friday, March 8, 2002, in Virginia Beach, Va., where he had made his home since August 2000.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Blythe officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Springs Cemetery with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He was a native of Maury County and the son of the late Herbert Baxter and Clatie Mae Johnson Littlejohn. He was retired from Bell South Telephone Company, a graduate of Central High School Class of 1941, and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Tennie Doris Miller Littlejohn of Virginia Beach, Va.; two daughters, Wanda (James Jr.) Reeves of Virginia Beach, Va., and Doreen (Robert) Rummell of Greensboro, N.C.; one son, George Wayne Littlejohn of Sunrise, Fla., two sisters, Mary Katherine McCracken and Virginia (Sarge) Westmoreland, both of Columbia; two brothers, Allen Littlejohn of Mt. Pleasant and Bobby (Arliss) Littlejohn of Columbia; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James Reeves Jr., James Reeves III, Justin Lockhart and Bob Rummell. Honorary pallbearers will be Sarge Westmoreland, Ellis Fogle, Benny Ayers, Dr. Amitt Choksi, Dr. Thomas S. Dake and Dr. Mike Richardson.
Grace Emma Westmoreland
CANEY SPRING -- Grace Emma Westmoreland, 100, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2002, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Tuesday at London Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka.
She was a native of Marion Co. and the daughter of the late John Eaton and Pamelia Burnette Parrish. She was a homemaker and a member of the Berea Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Hayes Westmoreland; a daughter, Juanita Westmoreland both of the Caney Spring Community; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
Jessie Lynn Mayberry
Miss Jessie Lynn Mayberry, 15, 10th grade student at Mt. Pleasant High School and resident of Napier Drive in Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, June 7, 2002, in a drowning accident in Wayne County.
She was the daughter of Sheila Kay Hodge Head of Columbia and Tommy Mayberry of Columbia.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brenda C. Holtsford Mayberry, 53, a resident of the Monsanto Road in Columbia passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mayberry will be conducted Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Steve Swango, Reverend Boyd Bonnee and Reverend William Bonnee officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home.
The Marshall County native was the daughter of the late Troy D. and Dorothy Morgan Holtsford. She was the wife of Tommy Mayberry. Mrs. Mayberry was an employee of American Greeting in Franklin, Tennessee and a member of the Loyal Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived a son, Scott (Heather) Lassiter of Corinth, MS; two granddaughters, Autum Lassiter and Trinity Lassiter both of Corinth, MS; one brother, Daniel Morgan (Barbara) Holtsford of Corinth, MS; one sister, Dorethia (Paul) Dugger of Columbia, TN; mother-in-law, Mrs. T.A. Mayberry; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Ann Mayberry of Columbia, TN and Pamela Kay Mayberry of Springfield, TN.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Wesley D. Holtsford.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

William Roy Prindle
PULASKI -- William Roy Prindle, 93, of Pulaski, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at NHC Columbia.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Bennett-May Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Plummlee officiating. Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
He was retired from Bennett-May Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Prindle of Pulaski; a daughter, Linda Head of Hendersonville; a son, Duane "Red" Prindle of Pulaski; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Otis Guthrie
MADISON -- Mr. Otis Raymond Guthrie, 89, a resident of Madison, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro.
Services for Mr. Guthrie will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnnie Parish officiating. Burial will be in the Santa Fe Cemetery with military honors being provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
The Covington native was the son of the late Will and Cora Guthrie. He was the husband of Rachel Kelley Guthrie, formerly of the Santa Fe Community. After graduating from high school, he went on the receive his degree in Theology.
He was retired from AVCO Industries in Nashville as a machinist. He was a member of the Madison Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the American Legion. He served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Vivian L. (John) Tison of Hendersonville and Patricia Ann (William) Hutchinson of Decatur, Ala.; a granddaughter, Deanna "Dee-Dee" Salazar of Nashville; a great-granddaughter, Onalise Salazar of Nashville; an adopted son, Don Williams of Big Rock; brothers-in-law, Leroy Kelley of Kentucky, Clifton Kelley of Columbia and Raybon Kelley of Santa Fe; a sister-in-law, Loraine (Dale) Ireland of Smyrna; and his pet, Nehro.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kelley; sister and brother in-law, Lois and E.H. Ballard; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Archie Fox and Mrs. Esther Davis; and a brother-in-law, Roland Kelley.
Pallbearers will be family members.

Mr. Clarence Wayne Remer, 70, resident of Hampshire Pike in Columbia, died Thursday, May 9, 2002, in Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Funeral services and burial for Mr. Remer will be conducted at a later time in Bayfield, Wisconsin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was a native of Port Wing, Wisconsin, but had lived the last 20 years in Tennessee. He was the son of the late Clifford Remer and Mary Goulden Remer of Brule Wisconsin. He was a truck driver and retired from Osbourne Trucking of Gadsden, Ala.

Mr. Bryan Lynn Burnett, 35, resident of Overbrook Court in Columbia, died Wednesday, May 01, 2002, in Maury Regional Hospital.

He was a native of Birmingham, Ala., but had lived the majority of his life in Maury County. He was the son of Sandy McRae and Minnie Johnson Burnett of Columbia. He was the husband of Jennifer White Burnett of Columbia. He was a computer systems engineer for PC Fix, Inc., in Columbia and was a Civil War reenactor with the Pulaski Artillery, C.S.A. Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include one daughter, Rebecca Lynn Burnett of Columbia; one step-daughter, Kayla Cothron of Columbia; one sister, Jill (Mike) lsabell of Columbia and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Burnett.

He was an employee of Premier and worked as a yardman at the Saturn Corporation.
The Trenton, Michigan native was the son of Helen Miller Gonyon Rimel of Monroe, Michigan and the late Willis Gonyon.
In addition to his mother he is survived by 2 children, a daughter, Amber Nicole St. Bernard of Mt. Pleasant and a son, Carl James (C.J.) Gonyon of Spring Hill; five sisters, Brenda Merkle of McBain, Michigan, Diane Turner of Columbia, Treasa Gonyon of Marion, Michigan, Shiela Gonyon, of Marion, Michigan and Laura McMurry of Monroe, Michigan; two brothers, George Gonyon of Monroe, Michigan and James Gonyon of Columbia. He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Gonyon and his step-father, Earl Rimel.
