LEWISBURG- Mrs. Flossie Jewell Allen, 77, of Delina, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in NHC (Merihil) Healthcare.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with interment
in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family visited with friends Thursday. London Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Allen was a native of Giles County, daughter of the late Ollie and Sadie Clara Tate McMillian and homemaker.
She is surivived by three daughters, Helen Hayes of Delina, Alisa Wentzel of Diana, and Connie Deuermeyer of Lewisburg, one son, J.W. Gowens of Belfast, 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Christine Cozart
Christine Cozart, 76, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at London Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Mrs. Cozart was a native of Marshall County, a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Bessie Beatrice Dockery Adams, as well as her husband, a son and two grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Leo Cozart of Lewisburg; two daughters, Beatrice Jett of Lewisburg and Betty Ann King of Columbia; one sister, Frances Potter of Lewisburg; one brother, John Adams of Lewisburg; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Raymond Greene
NASHVILLE - Raymond Greene, 68, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
A Maury County native, he attended Maury County schools and was a truck driver. He was a member of Ebenezar Baptist Church in Nashville.
Funeral will be held at 12 noon on Monday at Davis -Campbell-McClain on Jefferson Street in Nashville, and burial will be in Greenwood West Cemetery.
Survivors include sisters, Mattie Harris, Anna Kay and Lottie Greene, all of Columbia, Nella Armstrong and Alma Anderson, both of Nashville, and Emma Armstrong of Lynnivlle.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Baxter Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of all local arrangements.
Mrs. Etta Mae Robinson
Mrs. Etta Mae Robinson, 90, of Columbia died Friday Feb. 12, 1999 at Maury Regional Hospital.
The funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Rising Star Baptist Church in Opelika, Ala., with Rev. B.W. Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.
Local arrangements are made through Roundtree, Napier & Ogilvies Columbia Funeral Home.
She was formerly of Opelika, Ala., and a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Rupert Robinson Jr., Raymond Robinson St., Johnnie Robinson all of Detroit, Mich., Willie Gene Robinson of Opelika, Ala.; two daughters, Eldora Robinson Darby of Opelika, Ala., Annie Robinson Hawkins of Columbia; one brother, Abraham Henderson of Detroit, Mich.; six sisters, Roena Beasley, Edith Darby, Hattie Hall all of Opelika, Ala., Sally Wilson, Irene Reese, Nellie Reid all of Detroit, Mich.; and 43 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Jim L. Thompson Jr.
DECATUR, Ala. - Jim L. Thompson Jr., 65, of Arab, Ala., formerly of Decatur, Ala., died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home, Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Culpepper officiating. Burial will be in Lystra Baptist Cemetery in Baileyton, Ala.
Visitation will be today from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was a 1957 graduate of Tennessee Technological University and held a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked at NASA from 1957-1973, and was a general contractor from 1973 to the present. He also owned and operated the Martha Washington Ice Cream and Candy Shop. He attended Metropolitan Church of God in Birmingham, Ala.
He is survived by his wife, Carol F. Thompson of Arab, Ala.; a daughter, Patricia Thompson of Birmingham, Ala.; a son, Art Thompson of Chattanooga; a sister, Dorothy Dismukes of Columbia; a brother, John A. Thompson of Knoxville; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Goodman Jr., Sonny Odom, Bobby Murphy, Dr. Felton Davenport, Dr. Jolly McKenzie and George Linzie Wilson.
James Pitts Atkinson
CENTERVILLE- James Pitts Atkinson, 68, of Columbia, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Jack White and Ewing Neeley. Burial will be in the Oakmont Cemetery.

Mr. Atkinson was married to Thelma Lou Allen and was the son of the late John L. Atkinson and Alice Quillen. He was a special equipment operator for TVA for 38 years and was a member of the Lasea Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four brothers, Frank Atkinson of Centerville; Charles Atkinson of Nunnelly; Richard Atkinson of Florence, Ala.; and Johnny Atkinson of Centerville; two sisters, Helen Deen of Columbia and Shirley Shelton of Centerville.
Charles Preston Block, Sr.
LEWISBURG - Charles Preston Block Sr., age 52, died Saturday, July 8, 2000 in Lewisburg after an extended illness.
Services will be conducted on Tuesday, July, 11, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Sister Sylvia Bourland and Phil Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
A native of Pikeville, he was the son of Evelyn Marie Fann Brock and the late Willard Elmer Brock. He was a member of the Faithful Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lewisburg.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Susan Brock of Lewisburg, two daughters, Janie Marie Brock, Susan Annette Brock, and Charles Preston Brock, Jr., all of Lewisburg; a step-son; six sisters, Sylvia Bourland of Lewisburg, Mary Linda Arthur of Lexington, N.C., Annette Montville of Petersburg, Francell Cook of Chapel Hill, Avis Sheppard of Chapel Hill, Nila Baxter of Chapel Hill; three brothers, Willard Brock and Allen Brock of Chapel Hill, and Reeve Brock of Unionville; several nieces and nephews, and and great nieces and nephews.
Helen Marie Craig
LAWRENCEBURG - Helen Marie Craig, 70, of Ethridge, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at Centennial Medical Center.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Neal Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg with Larry Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Craig was a native of Maury County, a homemaker and a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Craig Sr., and her parents, Thomas Brumley and Viola Perry Brumley.
Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Staggs and Kathy Kilburn, both of Lawrenceburg, Patricia Williams of Leoma, and Dorothy Dunn of Memphis; one son, John Craig Jr. of Lawrenceburg; one brother, Bobby Brumley of Mt. Juliet; one sister, Mary Morrow of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
William Andrew Williams
LAWRENCEBURG - William Andrew Williams, 34, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000 at his residence in Georgetown, S.C.
He was a self-employed painter and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Funeral will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Neal Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Bosheers and Bro. Leland Johnson officiating, and burial will be in Restview Cemetery. The family visited with friends on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Williams; father, James M. Williams of Lawrenceburg; stepson, Phillip Bedingfield of Lawrenceburg; stepdaughter, Lauren Bedingfield of Lawrenceburg; sisters, Jean Vickroy of Nashville, Janie Hampton of Lawrenceburg and Elaine Hanson of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; and brother, Jimmy Williams of Athans, Ala.
Nell Kelly
LAWRENCEBURG - Nell Kelly, 88, of Nashville died Saturday Jan. 23, 1999 at Southern Hills Hospital.
The funeral services were conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home with Jim Deason officiating. Burial followed in Mimosa Cemetery.
She was a native of Rice, Tx., daughter of the late Emmitt Smith and Addy Arden Smith, widow of the late Larimore Kelly and a member of Downtown Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Jane Estes of Norcross, Ga., Nancy Moghaddam of Nashville; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, William "Bud" Kelly.
J.B. Hazelwood
PULASKI - Mr. J.B. Hazelwood, 76, a resident of Columbia Highway in Pulaski, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at his home.
He was a native of Giles County, the son of the late John Brown Hazelwood and Rosa Walls Hazelwood. He was a retired mechanic and World War II veteran.
A graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bethusda Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Larry Hazelwood of Pulaski; and two grandchilren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bell Hazelwood.

David Wayne Moss
CENTERVILLE - David Wayne Moss, 52, of Lyles, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, in Lyles.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home with William McClearen, Bill McDonald, David Peeler, and Arter Waynick officiating. Burial will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Centerville.
Moss was the son of the late Lummie Moss and Madie Louise Allen. He was a plumber for Dillingham and Smith Construction. He was married to Judy Moss of Lyles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two son, Jason Wayne Moss and David Chad Moss, both of Lyles; one daughter, Connie Rene Capps of Lyles; one brother, Dairl Moss of Lyles; four sisters, Martha Lampley of Bon Aqua, Diane Cressend of Nashville, Glenda Martin of Lyles, and Anita Mangrum of Bon Aqua; and two grandchildren.
Raymond E. LeDoux, Jr.
Raymond E. LeDoux, 17, a resident of Terrapin Branch Road in the Porter's Chapel Community, died Sunday, June 18, 2000 at Maury Regional Hospital from injuries sustained received in an automobile accident.
Funeral services for Raymond will be conducted Wednesday, June 21, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Reverend Patrick Connor officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Trenton, New Jersey native was the son of Raymond E., Sr. and Virginia Harris LeDoux of Mt. Pleasant. He was a Senior at Mt. Pleasant High School and attended the Porter's Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Tanya Jean LeDoux of Mt. Pleasant; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Millie Harris of Bristol, Pa.: two half sisters, Theresa Lynn LeDoux and Tracey Ann LeDoux.
Pallbearers will be Bob Bolton, Jimmy Morales, Jeremy Runions, Jeffrey Davis, Brandon Finley, Bobby Ballinger, Kevin Wood, and Raymond Davis.
