B. Jane Rowley, 68, of Satellite Beach, Fla., died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. Rowley had moved to Florida in 1959 from Oak Ridge.
A registered nurse, she retired in 1997 after 22 years as a nursing supervisor with the South Brevard County Health Department.
She was born in Albion, N.Y., on July 26, 1930. For many years she volunteered in the prenatal education program for the Red Cross. Mrs. Rowley was a Baptist.
She is survived by her husband, William Rowley Sr.; her daughter and two sons, Leigh Stout, William Rowley Jr. and Ward Rowley, all of Satellite Beach; her sister, Sandra Minnes of Plant City, Fla.; and by two grandchildren.
The body was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests any memorials be in the form of donations to the American Red Cross, 1150 S. Hickory St., Melbourne, FL 32901.

Christopher Van Riper Clinton attorney
Christopher Van Riper, 37, of Oak Ridge, died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
Mr. Van Riper was an attorney in the office of the district public defender, 7th Judicial District, and in the law office of Stuart and Van Riper in Clinton.
Born on Jan. 19, 1961, he graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee and received the doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Memphis State University College of Law.
Mr. Van Riper is survived by his mother, Joan Van Riper of Oak Ridge; his sister, Claire Geibig and her husband, Jack, of Knoxville; and two brothers, Thomas Van Riper and his wife, Rachael Wilson, of Clinton, and Peter Van Riper and his wife, Tania Kandra, of Washington, D.C.
His father, Thomas Van Riper, is deceased.
Services were private.
The family requests any memorials be in the form of donations to the Thompson Cancer Survival Center, 1915 White Ave., Knoxville, TN 37916.

J. Lewis Miller Retired railroad worker
J. Lewis Miller, 91, of Kingston, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Marshall Voss Health Care Center of Harriman.
Mr. Miller retired in 1973 after 25 years of service with Southern Pacific Railroad.
He was born on Sept. 26, 1907, in Bath, Maine, and had lived in Kingston for the past 24 years.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Hilda Miller; eight children, Lauren Kilcrease of Sevierville, Maureen Umbehagen of Kingston, J. Lewis Miller Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., Allan B. Miller of Charleston, S.C., Bonnie Scott of Harriman, Gerri Jacobs and Norman Hodgkins, both of Iowa, and Sharon Phillips of Sacramento, Calif.; and two sisters, Jeanette and Dorice, both of Maine.
No service will be held.

Opal Key York Retired ORAU employee
Opal Key York, 77, of Knoxville, died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. York was a former resident of Oak Ridge and had retired in 1989 from Oak Ridge Associated Universities. She was a member of West Village Christian Church.
She was the daughter of Other and Viva Morris Key, who are deceased.
Mrs. York is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Terry Mathes of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Ricky and Misty Patterson, Gina and Dale Mashburn and David Mathes; her great-grandchildren, Cory, Breck and Autumn; and her sister and brother-in-law, Zena Lee and Hoyt Padgett of Oak Ridge.
In addition to her parents, her son, Billy Hicks, and a sister and two brothers died earlier.
The funeral was held Sunday, Jan. 10, in the chapel of McCarty-Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with minister Noel Kirk officiating.
A graveside service was to be held at 1 this afternoon, Jan. 11, at McCarty-Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton.
Laura L. McGhee Gebert
Lake City resident
Laura L. McGhee Gebert, 74, of Lake City, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Gebert is survived by her husband, Walter Gebert; her brother, James Taylor and his wife, Inez, of McDonald, Tenn.; and her brother-in-law, Robert Henderson Sr. of Lake City.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, in the chapel of Cox-Martin Funeral Home in Lake City with Eddie Ball and the Rev. Troy Christopher officiating.
Burial will follow at Island Ford Cemetery in Lake City.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Jan. 12, at the funeral home.
Geraldine Glandon
Retired State Farm employee
Geraldine Glandon, 61, of Powell, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
Mrs. Glandon had been employed with State Farm Life Insurance Co. for 40 years when she retired.
She was born in Greeneville on Aug. 28, 1938.
She was a member of Valley View United Methodist Church of Claxton.
Mrs. Glandon is survived by her husband, Donald Glandon; two daughters, Gail Glandon and Vickie Beets and her husband, John, all of Claxton; her mother, Vesta Lamb, also of Claxton; and two grandchildren, Cori Beets and Tyler Beets, both of Claxton.
Her father, Ersey Lamb, and her brother, Harry Lamb, are deceased.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Perry Duncan officiating.
Burial will follow at McCarty Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Jan. 12, at the funeral home.
Charlie Clarence Coffman
Glenwood Baptist deacon
Charlie Clarence Coffman, 79, of Clinton died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.
Mr. Coffman was a member and deacon of Glenwood Baptist Church of Oak Ridge and had worked with the church's clothes closet and food ministry. He was also active in the Optimist Club of Claxton.
In earlier years, he was employed by the Tennessee Valley Authority at the Bull Run Steam Plant in Claxton.
He was the son of James Weaver and Ola Mae Hammonds Coffman, who are deceased, and he had served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Coffman is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Coffman; two daughters, Leda Loope and her husband, Don, of Claxton, and Rose Bridges and her husband, Larry, of Corryton; three sons, C.K. Coffman and his wife, Debra, of Kingsport, J.W. Coffman and his wife, Mary, of Decatur, Ill., and L.A. Coffman and his wife, Linda, of Kingston; his sister, Pauline Bryant of Harriman; and by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Another son, Kemp Coffman, died earlier.
The funeral was to be held at 2:30 this afternoon, Jan. 11, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating.
Burial was to follow at McCarty Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton.
