Eula Miller Garvis
Eula Miller Garvis, age 87 of LaFollette went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2006. She was a 75 year member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church, and was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad.
She is preceded in death by loving husband, Joseph (Joe) Garvis; parents, Alexander and Sarah Tidwell Miller; brothers, Harley, Hubert, Clyde, Costo, and Leon Miller; sisters, Lillian Brown, and Vida Miller.
She is survived by her sister, best friend, and caretaker Louise Madron; special niece, Shirley Peel; caretaker, Jinger Pee; sister-in-law, Okie Miller, all of LaFollette; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tess Fortna, Ann and Barney Bach, Ruth and Al Rackus, all of Baltimore, MD; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were May 20 at the Cedar Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment
was in Campbell Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Campbell County Cancer Association, 124 Woodvine Street, Jacksboro, TN 37757 or, Cedar Hill Baptist Church, 636 Demory Road, LaFollette, TN 37766.

Nora Faye Gaylor
Nora Faye Gaylor, age 75 of LaFollette went to be with her husband and her Lord on May 17, 2006. She was of the Christian Faith. She had a great love for life and people, a wonderful smile, and a joyful spirit.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Gaylor; children, Gary Gaylor, Jimmy Gaylor, Bobby Gaylor, and Debbie Lautz; granddaughter, Casey Ann Gaylor; great-granddaughter, Brittany Underwood.
She is survived by her children, Karen Moore, Robert Lloyd, and Terry Moore of LaFollette, George Gaylor and wife Sandy of LaFollette, Bryan Gaylor and Natasha Miller of Johnson City; grandchildren, Addie Curtwright of LaFollette, Tabitha Underwood of LaFollette, Benjamin Moore of LaFollette, Cody Gaylor, Clay Gaylor, Zachary Gaylor, and Lucas Gaylor of LaFollette, and Holden Gaylor of Johnson City; great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry Hensley of OH, and Eugene Walden of LaFollette; sister, Billie Pearl McCullah of LaFollette; special friend, Theodore Henson; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were May 18 at the Walters Chapel with Rev Mark Partin officiating. Interment
was in the Bakers Forge Cemetery.

Kenneth O. “KO” Goodykoontz
Kenneth O. “KO” Goodykoontz, age 74, of Briceville passed away May 18, 2006 at his home. He was a member of Jacksboro United Methodist Church. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Retired from Martin Marietta. 32nd Degree Mason, Knoxville Scottish Rite and past master and member of Crystal Lodge 616 F.&A.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Prentice L. and Dora Burton Goodykoontz; brother, Dennis; sisters, Jo Ann Lawson and Wanda Sharp.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gail Beavan Goodykoontz of Briceville; sister and brother in law, Iva Lee and Ben Austin of Andersonville; sister in law and husband, Wanda and Charles Hanger of Springboro, OH; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services were held May 20 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lyle White officiating. Interment
was in the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Jacksboro Building Fund of the Jacksboro United Methodist Church at PO Box 83, Jacksboro, TN 37757.

William “Turk” Hunley
William “Turk” Hunley, age 69 of LaFollette passed away May 16, 2006 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Campbell County. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He loved watching ball games, playing cards, and his family very much.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Hunley; parents, Fred and Pearl Hunley; brothers, Don and Paul James Hunley.
He is survived by his brothers, Carl Hunley of Dayton, OH, Clearance Hunley of West Liberty, KY; sisters, Sue Watson, Bessie Lawson, Margaret Browning all of LaFollette, Anna Mae Webb of Maryland; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were May 18 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Don Allen, Rev. Ronnie Freeman, and Rev. Bill Floyd officiating. Interment
was in the Jacksboro Cemetery.

Molly Anna Hopkins
Molly Anna Hopkins, age 87 of Clairfield passed away May 16, 2006 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Hopkins; son, Carroll Hopkins; granddaughters, Donna Bunch and Carol Ann Hopkins and a host of other relatives.
She is survived by her children, Linda Lepouce of Kenosha, WI, Bobby Hopkins of Caryville, Joyce Hatfield of Clairfield, Charles Hopkins of Troy, OH, Sandra Kidwell of White Oak, Kay Rose of Clairfield, Mike Hopkins of Jellico, Mark Hopkins of Jenkins, KY; grandchildren, Victor LePounce, Karen Selin, Bobby Wayne Hopkins, Ronda Lambdin, Buffy Partin, Charles Hopkins, Jr., Ricky Hopkins, Chris Kidwell, Jami Kidwell, Travis Kidwell, Brad Rose, Brian Rose, Daniel Hopkins, Dusty Stanley, Holly Robinson; 32 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held May 20 at the Way of Holiness Church of God with the Rev. Lonnie Lyke, Rev. Orville Petrey and Rev. Don King officiating. Interment
was in the Clairfield Cemetery.

Sammy (Sam) Lowell Orick
Sammy (Sam) Lowell Orick, age 65 of LaFollette passed away May 18, 2006 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He worked with D.J. and M Construction and the city of LaFollette running the Flea Market for four years making many wonderful friends. He was loved very much by his family and friends. He also served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Faith Way Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Samual Harrison and Nannie Mae Orick; brothers, Clarance, Bill and Bob Orick; sisters, Geneva McNeally and Agnes Ford; niece, Shirley Henson; nephew, Joe Ford.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Alma Orick of LaFollette; sons, Micheal Newton and Sammy Lee Orick both of LaFollette; brother and sister in law, Rosavelt and Peggy Orick of LaFollette; sister and brother in law, Hazel and John Phillips of Cherry Bottom; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held May 20 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with the Rev. Steve Bruce, Lucy Lobertini and Marshal Rasnake officiating. Interment
was in the Walden Cemetery.

Rev. Clarence Teague
Rev. Clarence Teague of Clairfield went to be his Lord on May 8, 2006 at his home. At the time of his death he was 77 years of age. He was born January 13, 1929 at Eagan, and was the son of the late Roscoe and Rosa (Leach) Teague of Frakes, KY. He was a Baptist minister and a member of the Tracy Branch Baptist Church. He was ordained as a Baptist minister in 1957.
For the past 26 years, he has been the pastor of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church. He was the former pastor of the following churches: Clearfork Baptist Church, Jellico, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Frakes, KY, Beech Grove Baptist Church, Pruden, Locust Grove Baptist Church, Carpenter, KY, Little Poplar Creek Baptist Church, Bryant Store, KY, Beansfork Baptist Church, Middlesboro, KY, Clairfield Baptist Church, Clairfield. For 10 years he served as the chaplain for the Senior Citizen’s Program at Frakes, KY, he was a former board member for the Henderson Settlement Missions, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services were conducted May 11 at the White Oak Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Jones, Rev. Eldin Hurst and son in law, Rev. Jackie Smith. Interment
was in the Green Hills Memorial Garden, Middlesboro, KY.

Audera Owens Warmbrod
Audera Owens Warmbrod, age 54 of Brentwood, formerly of Jellico and Winchester passed away suddenly May 16, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristi Warmbrod; parents, William Edward Owens Sr. and Mildred Julia Owens; brothers, James N. Owens and William E. Owens, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Warmbrod; sons, Tom Warmbrod (Janey Collins); brother, Gary Owens (Sharon); sister, Lusanah Owens Zecchini (Mike); grandson, Blaine Warmbrod; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held May 19 at the Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan Clark officiating. Interment
was in the Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.
