Barbara (Kidd) Bowling, age 71 of Williamsburg, KY passed away March 24, 2006 at the Corbin Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Kidd and Lena Privett Kidd; son, Billy.
She is survived by her sons, Jack Bowling and wife, Diana of Williamsburg, KY, Danny Bowling and wife, Flora Mae of Bethel, OH; daughter, Barbara Lilford and husband, Larry of Williamsburg, KY; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers, Leslie Kidd and wife, Rose of Booneville, KY, William Kidd and wife, Polly of Williamsburg, KY, Hubert Kidd and wife, Alene of Jellico, Omar Kidd and wife, Lois of Williamsburg, KY; sisters, Mary Cooper and husband, Charles of Jellico, Mattie Childress and husband, Danny of Williamson, WVA; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held March 26 at the Harp Funeral Home with the Rev. Leslie Kidd officiating. Interment
was in the Hackler Cemetery.
Harp Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Pauline Bryant
Pauline Bryant, age 81 of LaFollette passed away March 28, 2006 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of LaFollette Church of God. She loved cooking, shopping, and her family and her church very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Dink” Bryant; son, Robert K. Bryant; parents, Jennings and Joney Caldwell Hensley. Brothers: Lee and JL Hensley; daughter in law, Linda Bryant; great granddaughter, Lauren Shuttles.
She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Pearl and Bob Harper of LaFollette, Sue and Leon Hubbard of Charlottesville, VA, Linda and John Nader of Detroit, MI; son, Walter Earl Bryant of Wauconda, IL; 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were March 31 at the LaFollette Church of God with Rev. Jeff Armstrong and Gary Harper officiating. Interment
was in the Bakers Forge Cemetery. Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
R.L. Cooper
R.L. Cooper, age 74 of LaFollette passed away April 3, 2006 at the St. Mary’s Health System of Knoxville. He was a member of Glade Springs Baptist Church. He loved to farm, hunt and fish. His family was his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Bessie Day Cooper; brother, Audrey Cooper; three infant sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Wanda Cooper of LaFollette; son and daughter in law, R. L. (June Bug) and Angie Cooper; daughters and son in laws, Cathy and Eddie Housley of LaFollette, Crystal and Chris Thacker of LaFollette; daughters, Connie and Linda; brothers, Harold Gene Cooper and Carlos Cooper both of Knoxville; sisters, Patricia Barger of Shady Grove, TN, Christine Gates of Knoxville; grandchildren, Adam Belew. Josh and Mandy Cooper, great grandchildren, Carter Belew and Stewart Thacker; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were April 5 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. James Smith, Rev. Edward Cooper and Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. Interment
will be at 11 a.m. on April 6 in Campbell Memorial Gardens.

Emma Sue Vowell Creekmore
Emma Sue Vowell Creekmore, age 76 of Lake City, went home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2006 at her home. She was a member of the Longfield Baptist Church. She was a retired cook from the Lake City Middle School and an active member in her church and loved her church family very much. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends that she loved dearly. She was born August 20, 1929 to the late Frazier and Lema Tuttle Hatmaker.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Horace “Bo” Vowell; second husband, Arvil Lee Creekmore.
She is survived by her son, Michael and Brenda Vowell of Clinton; daughter, Linda and Ronnie Weaver of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Eric Weaver of Knoxville, Ryan Vowell of Clinton and Vanessa Vowell of Clinton; sisters, Ann Hughes of Heiskell and Sonya Wright and husband, Glenn of Andersonville; brother, Herbert Hatmaker and wife, Mary Anne of Cumberland Gap, Benny Hatmaker of Lake City, Jimmy Hatmaker and wife, Sue of Lake City, Franklin Hatmaker and wife, Ardella of Powell; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were April 4 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harvey Sherlin, Rev. Ronald Guthrie and Rev. Mike Foust officiating. Interment
was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Minerva (Nerva) Davis Henson
Minerva (Nerva) Davis Henson, age 86, of LaFollette, passed away March 31, 2006 at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day- Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Henson; parents, James and Bell Davis of Jellico; granddaughter, Dawn Henson; sisters, Ell Rhoden, Elsie Farmer, Evelyn Leonie Herron, Edna Davis, Della Davis, Evie Mazango and Ethel Overton; brothers, Tom and Earl Davis.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Muse) Miller and husband, Louis of LaFollette; son, Verlin Henson and wife, Tina of Livingston; grandchildren, Scott Henson and wife Diane of Livingston, Cierra Miller, LaFollette, Patricia Headrick, Harriman, Tonya Hansen and husband Brett and son Brady; all of Vonore; step grandchildren, James and Pam Holloway and daughter, Kayla of Cookeville, Jason and Annie Holloway and daughter, Davie May of Cookeville; great grandchildren, Chasity and husband, Donnie Hall and children, Brayden, Tanner and Jaylee Hall of Hilham, Joshua Lee of Cookeville, Jacob Henson and son Jacob Scott Henson of Livingston; step great-grandchildren, Chad and Stephanie Eden and children: Fletcher, Emma and Graham of McMinnville, Brad and Laura Eden and daughters, Chloe and Gracie of Livingston; brother, Dewey Davis and wife, Grace of Jellico; special friend, Cora Douglas; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held April 2 in the Cross Chapel with Larry Elam officiating. Interment
was in the Campbell Memorial Gardens.

Marie Rebecca Eubanks
Marie Rebecca Eubanks, age 84 of LaFollette passed away March 28, 2006 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She loved walking and her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Henry Eubanks and Franklin Moses; daughter, Anna Mae Mynatt; parents, William Bill and Madi Gross White; brothers, Harvey and Jimmy McFarland; sisters, Patsy Carson, Geraldine Correll and Georgia White.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Eubanks of LaFollette; daughter, Bobbie Jean Ayers of Georgetown, OH; daughter and son in law, Joann and Wayne Snyder of Cincinnati, OH; step mother, Ina White of Caryville; brothers, Charlie White of Fla, George McFarland of LaFollette, Roy, Mike, Chuck and Billy White all of LaFollette; sisters, Virginia White and Peggy Elkins of Caryville; special friend, Ed Justice of LaFollette; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were March 31 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Bill Floyd officiating.

Lydia Ann Daniel Farmer
Lydia Ann Daniels Farmer of LaFollette departed this life on March 25, 2006 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. She was born August 5, 1913. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hasten Farmer; father and mother, Joe and Margaret Daniels; brothers, Arthur, Lloyd, Britt and Walter Daniels; sisters, Laura Havens, Retha Collins and Fannie Lake.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Jack and Bernice Harlowe of Knoxville; step daughter, Nancy Farmer of Cumberland, Ky; step grandsons, Chris and Chuck Craig of Cumberland, Ky.
Graveside services were held March 28 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Don Martin officiating.

Michael Peter Graves
Michael Peter Graves, age 77 passed away March 28, 2006 at his home in Speedwell. He was born December 26, 1928 in Speedwell. He was a Eucharistic minister and faithful member of Our Lady of Help Perpetual Catholic Church since 1991. He served his country during World War II. He was a senior partner of Graves, Owens and Butler Construction of Monroe, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, M.P. “Bud” Graves and Della Mae Calloway Graves; brothers, Elmer, Thomas “Wylie”, Irvin, Edd, Horace and Walter H. Graves; sister, Trula Jones Yoakum.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Dorais Graves of Speedwell; son, Michael David (Gloria) Graves of Monroe, MI; daughters, Katherine M. (Robert) Oklejas, Kim M. (Tom) Didario, all of Monroe, MI, Kellie M. (Russell) Moore of Ida, MI; sister, Beulah (Olen) Heck of Speedwell; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Funeral services were March 31 at the Catholic Church in LaFollette with the Rev. Joe Campbell, Rev. John Appiah and Rev. Dwayne “Kojak” Graves officiating. Memorials may be made to the Lady of Perpetual Help building fund. Interment
was in the Hill Cemetery.
