Patrick Nelson Dudney
Patrick Nelson Dudney, Jr., age 37 of Williamsburg, KY passed away Jan. 1, 2006 at Jellico Community Hospital.
He is survived by his son, Bradley Nelson Dudney of St. George, SC; father, Patrick Nelson Dudney, Sr. and wife, Andrea of Cookeville; mother, Helen Ruth Teague of Williamsburg, KY; brothers, Charles Dudney of Williamsburg, KY, Ricky Dudney and wife, Cheryl of Williamsburg, KY and Donald Teague and wife, Jessica of Williamsburg, KY; sister, Lisa Bryant and husband, Saul of Williamsburg, KY; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Jan. 4 at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Durand Dixon officiating. Interment icon was in the Douglas Cemetery.
Harp Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Bernice Owens Edwards
Bernice Owens Edwards, age 83 of Duff passed away Jan. 6, 2006 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Sterling Owens and Coby Edwards; parents, Jake and Amanda Hatfield; sons, Tommy Arthur Owens, J.T. Owens, Billy Owens; daughter, Katherine Hazer; sister, Carrie Anderson.
She is survived by her sons, John Owens of Morley, Ralph Owens of Morley; daughters, Frances Leach of Primroy, Judy Owens of Morley, Tammy Frazier of Morley; sisters, Edna Marlow of Dayton, OH, Lizzie Barnhill of Swanton, OH; 38 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Jan. 10 at Morley Baptist Church wit the Rev. Melvin Blankenship officiating. Interment icon was in the Owens Family Cemetery.
Harp Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Lawrence Elmore
Lawrence Elmore, age 64 of Jellico passed away Jan. 1, 2006 at the Jellico Community Hospital. He was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jesse Elmore and Lou Webb Elmore; son, Lawrence; daughter, Hester Jane; brothers, Kenneth George Elmore and Thomas Daniel Elmore; sisters, Wanda Partin and Brenda Sue Elmore.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Sue Elmore of Jellico; son, Paul Davis Elmore and wife, Vicky of Riverview, Fla; daughters, Cynthia Brown and husband, Jack of Davin, WVa, Trecia Gibson and husband, Eugene of Cyclone, WVa, Mary Carroll and husband, Wilford of Falls Creek, Va, Peggy Cox and husband, Charles of Duff; grandchildren, Jesse, Patricia, Jamie, Larry, Bobbie, Amanda, David and Angel; great grandchildren, Cameron, Ashton, Emily, Austin and Brittany; brothers, Jesse Elmore, Tom Elmore, Jimmy Wayne Calton; sisters, Shirley Brown, Mary Holbrook, Ella Curtis, Marie Mounts, Linda Griffith, Barbara Walker, Anna Mae Constilo, Pearl Prater, Kaye Bailey; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Jan. 4 in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. Interment icon was in the Douglas Cemetery.

Betty Muse Harp
Betty Muse Harp, age 60 of LaFollette, passed away Jan. 1, 2006 at Claiborne County Hospital. She was a member of First Apostolic Church of LaFollette. She loved cooking, housekeeping, flower gardening and her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Marie Hickey Heatherly.
She is survived by her husband, David Harp of LaFollette; daughter and son in law, Melissa and Randy Staggs of LaFollette; stepdaughters, Lisa Meadows and Starla Boshears; grandchildren, Amanda and Anthony Ward and Kayla Pennington all of LaFollette; step grandchildren, Amber and Carla Boshears and Trent Meadows; sisters, Patsy and Steve Daugherty of Caryville, Hettie and Jerry Chapman, Robbie Sue Muse and Barbara Walden all of LaFollette; brother, Sherman Heatherly and wife Aileen of Jacksboro; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Jan. 3 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jeff Moses and Steve Carroll officiating. Interment icon was in the Peabody Cemetery.

Bill Honeycutt, Jr.
Bill Honeycutt, Jr., age 73 of Manchester, OH formerly of Elk Valley passed away December 21, 2005 at his home after a short illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Margaret Cox Honeycutt; wife, Ida Neal Honeycutt; niece, Carolyn L. Baird.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Honeycutt of Manchester, OH; daughter, Billie J. Simpson of Manchester, OH; grandson, Adam Simpson of Manchester, OH; sister, Pearl H. Lay of Williamsburg, KY; niece, Peggy Conlin of Williamsburg, KY; stepchildren and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held in Amelia, OH.
Croley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Kenneth Ray Miller
Kenneth Ray Miller, age 63 of LaFollette passed away Jan. 1, 2006 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from General Motors in Anderson, IND in 1992, where he worked in the boiler room before moving to this area. He loved NASCAR, working on cars and talking on the CB, with the handle 151.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Miller of LaFollette, children, Elaine Draise of OH, Lisa Marino of FLA, Kim Cook of Jacksboro, Kelly Abston of Nashville, Richard McCullah of Oneida and Ronald Paul of Knoxville; mother, Neva Miller of IND; Helen Rains of KY; brother, Roger Miller of IND; 16 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held in New Castle, IND.
Walters Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Imogene R. Nicholson
Imogene R. Nicholson, age 86 OF Lake Orion, passed away Jan. 9, 2006.
She was preceded in death by husband, John William Nicholson; son, James Nicholson, and brother, John Polson.
She was a loving mother to Mack (Marilyn) Nicholson of Oxford, John (Jeanne) Nicholson of Oxford and Fred (Kathy) Nicholson of Lincoln Park. She was a very special nanny to John Nicholson of Florida, Jason Nicholson of Oxford, Patty (Paul) Cassise of Lake Orion, Freddie Nicholson of Lincoln Park and Amanda Nicholson of Lincoln Park; loving great nanny to Olivia and Reagan Cassise (her girls) of Lake Orion. She is survived by her brothers, Sherwood Polson of TN and Robert Polson of TX and sisters, Laurene Rogers and Kathryn Paul both of TN.
Funeral services will be Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford. The family will receive friends Jan. 12 from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment icon will follow at Perry Mt. Park Cemetery, Pontiac.

Earl Howard “Charlie” Norman
Earl Howard “Charlie” Norman, age 75 of Kirklin, Ind., passed away Jan. 4, 2006 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. He was born in LaFollette on September 17, 1930.
He was the son of the late Jack and Pearl (Baird) Norman. After childhood years in LaFollette, he served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On June 19, 1952 he was married in Middlesboro, KY to Anna Lee (Lester) Norman. The family resided in Knoxville, Dayton, OH, Buffalo, New York prior to moving to Lebanon where they resided thirty-five years. The past two years the couple resided in Kirklin.
As a professional chef he had worked in various restaurants and clubs. In Indianapolis he was chef for the Elks Lodge No. 13 and Greentree Country Club. He last worked in Lebanon at Mr. R’s until he retired in 1994.
A dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather he enjoyed his family, friends, and grandchildren. In addition he liked fishing, the outdoors, and reading, including the study of the Bible.
He was a member of the Kirklin Assembly of God Church in Kirklin, Ind and Chef de Cuisine in Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; half-brothers, Jack Norman and Lawrence Norman.
He is survived by his wife, Anna L. Norman - Kirklin, Ind; children, Sammy E. Norman and wife, Carol Curtis of MI, Mitchell “Mick” Norman and wife, Vivian Dover of Ind, Ronald W. “Ronny” Norman of Lebanon, Ind, Gail Heikkila and husband, Robert “Bob” Kirklin of Ind; step mother, Margaret Wilson -, LaFollette; half brothers, Donald Norman, - LaFollette, Glenn Norman, - LaFollette, Dexter Wilson, - LaFollette, Roger Wilson, - LaFollette; half sisters, Debbie Wilson, - LaFollette, Joylee Lynch, - Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Sammy E. Norman, Jr. and wife, Allison - Lake Linden, MI , Maria Norman, - Negaunee, MI, Lindsey M. Norman, - Brownsburg, Ind, Michelle L. Norman - Lebanon, Ind, Adam F. Norman, - Lebanon, Ind, Aaron M. Norman, - Lebanon, Ind, Karen L. Heikkila - Kirklin, Ind; great grandchildren, Noah Norman - Lake Linden, MI and Elijah Norman - Lake Linden, MI
Funeral Services were held Jan. 7 at the Kirklin Assembly of God Church in Kirklin, Ind with the Pastor Jeremy Turner officiating. Interment icon was in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens in Boone County, Ind.
Myers Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
