Doris Chaffman of Jellico passed away Dec. 17, 2005 at the family residence. She was born Feb. 27, 1945 at Jellico.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Partin Webb on Dec. 23, 2000.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Chaffman of Jellico; sons, Paul Chaffman of Jellico, Tim Chaffman and wife, Cathy of Williamsburg, KY; daughter, Wendy Crawford and husband, John of Jellico; eight grandchildren; father, Arthur Webb of Jellico.
Funeral services were Dec. 20 at the Cox and Son Chapel with the Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. Interment
was in the Webb Cemetery.

Dorothy May Clark
Dorothy May Clark, age 81, of Windfall, passed away Dec. 12, 2005 at her home in Windfall, Indiana. She was born on May 23, 1924 to Edward and Goldie (Fite) Alley of Tipton County Indiana. She married her husband Arthur Clark in 1940. She retired from Essex Wire in Elwood, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Clark; son, Robert A. Clark; four sisters and three brothers,
She is survived by her children, William Edward Clark, Elwood, Ind., Tom Clark and Gary Clark, both of Windafall; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Dec. 16 with Pastor Jim Sharber officiating. Interment

Homer D. Ellis
Homer D. Ellis, age 73 of Jacksboro passed away Dec. 19, 2005 at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired Machinist.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Ellis of Jacksboro; sons, Allen Ellis and Robert Ellis both of Knoxville; step-daughter, Faye Ellis of Scott County; step-son, Dale Lavery of Scott County; nephew, David Marsh of Scott County; mother-in-law, Naomi Swain of LaFollette; several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Dec. 21 at Walters Chapel. Interment
was in the Peabody Cemetery.

Sandra Dianne Wilson Francis
Died Wednesday December 14, 2005.
Sandra Dianne Wilson Francis, age 62, of LaFollette passed away at her home. She was a member of the Church of God.
She was preceded in death by his father, Earl G. Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Zack Francis; mother, Jeanette Hughes Wilson, LaFollette; stepchildren, Russell Francis, Jill Francis, Robert Francis; grandchildren, Tori, Carli, Travis, Candace, Robert and Daver Francis; sisters, Sherry Wilson Ayers, LaFollette, Donna Wilson Housley, LaFollette; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Dec. 17, 2005 at the Cross Chapel with Rev. Robert Walden, Rev. Carlo Bruce, Rev. Darrell Reese and Rev. James Leach officiating. Interment
was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Jerry Lynn Jarrells
Jerry Lynn Jarrells, age 60 of Powell passed away Dec. 17, 2005 at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Packett.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Shown Jarrells of Powell; son, Christopher Smith of Clinton; daughter, Angela Smith Ables of Powell; grandchildren, Tiffany and Zack Smith, Cody Aslinger and Sydney Smith; brother in law, Doyle and Pat Shown of Norris; sisters in law, Carol and Eddie Wilson of Lake City, Pauline and Arthur Harness of Lake City and Jeraldine Johnson of Lake City.
Funeral services were Dec. 19 at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Elliott, Jr. and Rev. Walter Miller officiating. Interment
was in the Woodhaven Memorial Garden with full military honors.

Janie Lancaster
Janie Lancaster, age 88 of LaFollette passed away Dec. 10, 2005 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a member of the Fordtown Baptist Church and retired from Imperial Reading Corp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lancaster; parents Fate and Lizza Robbins, sisters and brothers, Etta Wallace, Ryle Robbins, Myrtle Robbins, Henry Robbins, and Bill Robbins.
She is survived by her children, Wanda Paul and husband, Lewis, Helen Wilson and husband, Albert, Robert Lancaster and wife, Katie, all of LaFollette, Jimmy Lancaster and wife, Rose of Clinton; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Dec. 12 at Walters Chapel with Rev. Danny Wilson and her grandson, Rev. Robert Lancaster officiating. Interment
was in the Campbell Memorial Gardens.

Robert Beryl Leach
Robert Beryl Leach, age 82 of Jackson, TN passed away Dec. 16, 2005. He was born in Berea, KY on May 15, 1923. He was the son of the late Edgar W. Leach, Sr. and the late Lucinda Combs Leach of Jellico. He resided in Gadsden, Ala from 1947 until 1997 and in Birmingham, Ala from 1997-2005. He had a 40 year sales career in Gadsden with Southern Auto Supply Company, Phillips Supply Company and Observer Office Supply Company. His hobby was repairing watches and clocks. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Hicks “Midge” Leach; son, J. Ted (Cathey) Leach; grandchildren, Robert D. Leach, Lindy (Michael) Dean and Cully A. Dorer; sister, Edwyna Shearer; brother, Paul R. (Helen) Leach, Sr.; twin brother, Edward Meryl Leach, Sr. and many friends.
Memorial services were held Dec. 21 at the Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Ala. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jellico United Methodist Church.

Randy Lynn McCreary
Randy Lynn McCreary age 36 of Jacksboro passed away at his home. He was a member of LaFollette Church of God. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and son who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed his grandchildren and nephew with all his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Mickie McCreary of Jacksboro; step-son, John Turner Jr. of LaFollette; step-daughter, Traci Turner, step-daughter and son in law, Holly and Johnny Tolliver of LaFollette; grandchildren: Johnathan and Joshua Tolliver both of LaFollette; parents, Buster and Jean McCreary of LaFollette; brother, Daniel McCreary of LaFollette; nephew, Jeremy McCreary of LaFollette; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were Dec. 7, 2005 at the LaFollette Church of God with Pastor Jeff Armstrong and Rev. Daniel McCreary officiating. Interment

Elmer Leo McCulley
Elmer Leo McCulley, born August 21, 1933, passed away Dec. 13, 2005 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a fox hunter and carpenter. He was a wonderful daddy and loving papaw that was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Florence Wicks McCulley; brothers, “Hoover” Shelton, Howard McCulley, Albert Disney and Clayton McCulley.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Byrd of Caryville, Kathryn Wilburn of LaFollette, Carolyn Monday of Jacksboro, Faye Marlow and Vickie Sue Marlow both of Speedwell; sisters, Katie Whited and Ovela Bryant both of LaFollette; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Dec. 15 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Harry James officiating. Interment
was in the Marlow Cemetery.
