James “Jr.” Earl Parrott
James “Jr.” Earl Parrott, age 48 of Heiskell, died at the St. Mary’s Residential Hospice in Knoxville on Nov. 22, 2004. He was a member of the Hoitt Baptist Church in Knoxville. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior on August 3, 2004. He loved music and was a collector of model cars and trucks and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Earl Parrott Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Parrott; step-sons, Terry Hammond both of Heiskell, Robert Hammond of Knoxville, Scott Hammond of Jacksboro, Rev. James Hammond of Powell, Mike Hammond of Clinton; step-daughters, Tammy Lemarr and Deanna Davis both of Clinton; 25 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; mother, Hattie Parrott; brothers, Charles and Robert Parrott; niece: Ashley Parrott all of LaFollette; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 24 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. James Hammond and Rev. Joe Norris officiating. Interment
will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday before services.

Lawrence Perry
Lawrence Perry, age 86 of Lake City died Nov. 19, 2004 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He and his wife, Opal Williams Perry were married for 58 years until her death. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Briceville. He was born Feb. 19, 1918 in McCreary County, KY. He was in the Army Air Corps where he served in the 11th Bombardment Group in the South Pacific.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Williams Perry; parents, Adam Perry and Laura Kidd Perry; sister, Elsie Summer; brothers, Roscoe, Elmer, Lester and Kenneth Perry.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Lee and husband, Bobby Hooks of Lake City; brother, Dewey Perry; sisters, Sue Carroll of Tucker, KY, Lucille Perry, OK; sister in law, Ovida Williams of Seymour.
Funeral services were Nov. 21 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Russell and Rev. Donnie Disney officiating. Interment
was in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Hatmaker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Yvonna Gail Chapman Pistello
Yvonna Gail Chapman Pistello, age 51 of LaFollette, died Nov. 19, 2004 at her home. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a nurse and worked in LaFollette Medical Center Emergency Room before going to work at Brycliff Health Care Center in Oak Ridge until she retired in 1998. She loved the outdoors, fishing, swimming, and waterskiing. She also loved her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Blaine and Ollie Chapman and Johnny and Alma Henegar; nephew, Sammy Richardson.
She is survived by her husband, Micheal Pistello of LaFollette; daughter and son in law, Robin and Rex Kitts of Jacksboro, daughter, Melissa Pistello of LaFollette; grandchildren Robin and Ryan Kitts of Jacksboro; parents, Arlis and Helen Chapman of LaFollette; sisters, Shelia Strunk of Huntsville, Karen Miller of LaFollette, and Melinda Richardson of Jacksboro; eight nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were Nov. 23 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Braden officiating. Interment
will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24 in Bakers Forge Cemetery.

Lorna Dean Ridenour
Lorna Dean Ridenour, age 73 of St. Clair Shores, MI died at her home in MI on Nov. 19, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ridenour; parents, Hugh and Minnie Underwood Goins; sister, Nanny Ivey.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Gary Ruthkowski of St. Clair Shores, MI; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sharon Ridenour of LaFollette; grandchildren, Jared, Justin, and Joey of St. Clair, MI; brothers, Walter, Whit and Wallace Goins; sisters, Mary Meredith of Pittsboro, IN; sister in law, Oneida Gossage; a host of other relatives and friends.

Merle Blackwell
Merle Blackwell, age 66 of Baltimore, formerly of Caryville died Nov. 24, 2004 in Baltimore after a long bout with diabetes. He was of Church of God faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Millard H. Blackwell; wife of 40 years, Elizabeth.
He is survived by his mother, Gladys Blackwell of Caryville; sister, Sue Simpson and husband, Luster of Caryville; brother, Charles Ray Blackwell and wife, Virginia of Caryville; son, Merle Jr., of Baltimore; a host of relatives and friends.

Don H. Brown
Don H. Brown, age 57 of Knoxville, formerly of the New River Community went home to be with Jesus on Dec. 4, 2004 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born Nov. 28, 1947 in Anderson County to the late John and Cordella Carroll Brown. He was a member of the Son-Light Baptist Church in Knoxville. He loved bowling and was a big Tennessee Volunteer Fan and all sporting events. He also loved spending time with family and friends. He worked at Star Sales in Knoxville for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Unavee Byrge.
He is survived by his sisters, Alavene and Bob Templin, Lake City, Angie and Jim Morales, Cross Junction, VA; brother, Jay and Grace Brown, Walland; nieces, Kasey Templin, Bethany Brown, Tammy Phillips, Cindy Sellers, Debby Bergeron and Crystal Morgan; nephews, Boyce Templin, Larry Brown, Jimmy Byrge, Timmy Byrge, Jason Byrge, Jamey Byrge, Douglas Stitt and Rick Stitt; special friends, Junior Ricker, Clayton Cox, Sammy Sawyer, Earl Keyes, Rev. Eddie Myers and Frank; many friends at Star Sales and church friends that looked after him.
Funeral services were Dec. 6 at the Son-Light Baptist Church in Knoxville with Rev. Eddie Myers and Rev. Brian Courtney officiating. Interment
was in the Grave Hill Cemetery in Devonia.

Lonnie “Jim” Carroll
Lonnie “Jim” Carroll, age 52 of LaFollette died Dec. 6, 2004 at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Knoxville. He was a member of the Grantsboro Baptist Church. He enjoyed being a help to others and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Carroll and brother, Roger Dale Carroll.
He is survived by his wife, Robbie Carroll of LaFollette; son, Tommy Ray Carroll of Jacksboro; mother, Geneva Carroll of LaFollette; brothers, Jerry Carroll of Woodbury, Mark Carroll of LaFollette; sisters , Judy Ward of Jacksboro, Sandra Bolinger of LaFollette; special friend, Emma Jean Cooper, he always called her his second mom; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were Dec.8 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Ayers officiating. Interment
will be at 10 a.m., Dec. 9 (Thursday) in Grantsboro Cemetery.

Darryll Crutchfield
Darryll Crutchfield, age 54 of Jacksboro departed this life Dec. 4, 2004 at home and is now at home with Jesus his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was employed by Bellsouth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Bobbie Fritts Crutchfield.
He is survived by his wife, Pam D. Crutchfield of Jacksboro; son, Gabriel “Gabe” Crutchfield of Jacksboro; brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Joan Crutchfield of LaFollette; niece, Alisa Crutchfield of Caryville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
