Cora Sue Mozingo, 65, Monroe Township, died September 28, 2003 at Monroe Township, MI. She was born June 18, 1938 in Bell County, KY. She enjoyed fishing and shopping. She was employed as a cook at various local restaurants and also worked at the Monroe County South Center before retiring in 1990.
Cora was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Suttles and Upil Ellison Suttles and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Zen T. Mozingo, Monroe, MI.; sons, Chuck Mozingo, Monroe, MI. Zack and Debbie Mozingo, Monroe, MI., Christopher and Melissa Mozingo, Dundee, MI., Brian Mozingo, Monroe, MI.; brothers, Harrison and Janice Suttles, St. Helen, MI., Melvin and Kathy Suttles, Speedwell; sisters, Linda McGregor, LaFollette, Shelva and Vernon Benge, LaFollette; five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 2 at 11 a.m. at Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe, Michigan with Rev. Joe Bryant officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe, Michigan.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Arlettie Partin
Arlettie Partin, 86, LaFollette, died Monday, September 23,2003 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of the Independent Baptist Church. Mrs. Partin was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Partin and three brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Partin is survived by her brother, Virgil Bourff and sister-in-law, Gracie, New Lexington, Oh.; sister, Sylvia Wilson, Al; seven children, Janetta Napier and husband, Joe, Speedwell, Ms. Dale Azzi, LaFollette, Shirley Canady and husband Bill, Deerfield, Beach Fl., Eddie Partin and wife, Linda, Dalton, Ga., Vontella Mann and husband, Jerry, Deerfield, Beach, Fl., Patricia Brister and husband, Kenny, Deerfield, Beach, Fl., Mike Partin and wife Tracy, Dalton, Ga.; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Thursday, September 25 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Tapp officiating.
Interment was Friday, September 26 in Sunrise Cemetery.
Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Eula P. Phillips
Eula P. Phillips, 88, Lake City, died Sunday, September 28, 2003 at the N.H.C. Health Care Center in Oak Ridge. She was of the Baptist faith. She was born March 5, 1915 in Anderson County.
Eula is preceded in death by her parents, R.L., Sr. and Anna Wright Foster.
She is survived by her brother, R.L. Foster Jr., Oliver Springs; sisters, Helen Rector, Jacksboro, Mary Sharp, Lake City, Margaret Hall, Nashville and several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was Monday, September 29 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral services were also Monday at the Hatmaker Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
Interment was Tuesday, September 30 at the East Fork Cemetery in Oak Ridge.
Hatmaker Funeral Home of Lake City was in charge of the arrangements.
Janice Sue Timmins
Janice Sue Timmins, 62, Jellico, died Thursday September 25, 2003 at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. She was the owner and operator of Flowers By Sue in Jellico. She is survived by her husband Harry Timmins, Jellico; sons, Shane and wife, Christy, Jeff and wife, Mallissa and Greg Timmins, all of Jellico; mother, Lela Lindsey, Nashville; sister, Mary Ann Owens, Spring Hill; brothers, Joe Lindsey, Cincinnati, OH., Jerry Lindsey, Thompson Station, Gary Lindsey, Nashville; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister at heart, Fay Lindsey; special friends, Lynn McKinney and Janet Overton.
Funeral services were Sunday, September 28 at Llewellyn Funeral Home with Reverends Jerome Walden and Horace Partin officiating.
Burial was in the Huddleston Cemetery at Crouches Creek.
Llewellyn Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Darrell Vinsant
Darrell Vinsant, 40, Jacksboro, died Thursday, September 25, 2003 at his home. He was a member of the Cumberland View Baptist Church. Darrell was a loving son, father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. A special thanks to all his friends who showed love and support and a special thanks to Judy Vinsant.
He was preceded in death by Lumes Vinsant and brother, Jackie Vinsant; sisters, Sandra and Barbara Vinsant.
Darrell is survived by his daughters, Amanda and Ashley Vinsant, both of Jacksboro; granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Vinsant; mother, Nadine Phillips Vinsant; brothers, James D. Nelson, Knoxville, Dennis Ray Vinsant, Tommy Vinsant; twin brother, Harold Vinsant, all of Jacksboro, Kenneth Lee Vinsant, LaFollette; sisters, Linda Gail Miller, Jacksboro, Trena Faye Brock and Maggie Murray, both of Clinton; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Friday, September 26 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Reverends Bobby Ray Wilson and Larry Russell officiating.
Interment was Saturday, September 27 in Cumberland View Cemetery.

Rodney Wilson
Rodney Wilson, 40 Briceville, died Monday, September 29, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
He was of the Baptist faith. He loved working with computers, and enjoyed fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude G. Wilson; grandparents. John R. and Leona Wilson, Perry and Florie Phillips.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Patty Wilson, Briceville; children, James Joseph and Melanie Joseph, Clinton, Timothy and Nakomia, Knoxville, Brian Keith and Trina Joseph, Daniel Wayne Joseph, both of Hyden, KY., Josh Graham, Lake City, D.J. Wilson, Samantha M. Joseph, Natasha Wilson, Cheyanne Wilson, all of Briceville; grandchildren, Jamie Lee, Leiha Michelle and Alana Anne Joseph; mother, Faye Phillips Wilson, Lake City; sister Ginger McKamey, Clinton; brother, Claude Steven and Lorie Wilson, Briceville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Opal Skeens, Hyden, KY.; nephews, Preston McKamey, Scotty Wilson and Stevie Wilson; beloved friends, Andy, Teresa and Abby McCoy, Briceville, Jennifer Harness and son Dillion, Lake City, Tracy and Teresa Simmons, Clinton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family received friends Wednesday, October 1 at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 2, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with Reverends Howard Hurst and B. Ray Phillips officiating.
Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Clinton.

Ira L. Ayers
Ira L. Ayers. 90, Catonsville, a former longtime resident of Woodstock, died December 31, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Baltimore.
Mr. Ayers was born November 14, 1913 in Pioneer.
He was a railroad brakeman for Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad and a farmer.
In addition, Mr. Ayers was a World War 11 veteran having served in the Army Air Corps.
He was a member of the Crossroads Church of the Nazarene in Elliott City and enjoyed vegetable gardening according to family members.
Mr. Ayers lived in Woodstock for 53 years and more recently resided at LifeSpring Assisted Living Center in Catonsville.
Surviving is his wife, Helen L. Ayers, Catonsville; son, Dennis I. Ayers, Elliott City; daughters, Carol McAndrew, Catonsville and Annette Viellette, Pasadena; sisters, Mary Myers and Geneva Collingsworth, both of LaFollette and Alleen Huckelby, Cincinnati, Oh.; brother, Thomas Ayers, LaFollette, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Ira was preceded in death by his brothers, Addison Ayers and William “Bill” Ayers; sisters, Rose Jordan and Hannah Chadwell.
Funeral services were January 3 at Harry H. Witzke’s Family Funeral Home in Ellicott City with Rev. Kevin Hardy presiding.
Interment was in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Ellicott City.
