James C. Shoupes, 74, of LaFollette died November 23rd, 2002 at St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County.
Mr. Shoupes was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Shoupes; parents, Lowrence and Betty Ann Patrick Shoupes.
Mr. Shoupes is survived by his son, LeRoy Shoupes and daughter, Carolyn Eubanks both of LaFollette; three great grandchildren; brothers, Elmer Shoupes, LaFollette and Ove Shoupes, Knoxville; sisters, Grace Inman, Georgia, Lois Allen, Oregon, Buelah Woodguard, Ohio, Pauline Shoupes, Clinton.
Funeral services were November 26th in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Reverend O.P. Byrd officiating.
Interment was in Baker's Forge Cemetery.

Roy Edward Simms
Roy Edward Simms, 82, of Bluff City, Tn, died November 18th, 2002 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Bessie Slover Simms; brothers, Millard, Bill, Charles, Everett, Sr. and Theodore and sister, Oneida Greenwood.
Mr. Simms is survived by his wife, Norma Marie Simms; daughter, Kathleen Simms, Bluff City; sons, Daniel Simms, FL, Donald Simms, PA, Bill Simms, Roy Simms, Jr. and Charles Simms; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Private funeral services were held in LaFollette.

Flora Mae (Lawson) Tackett
Flora Mae (Lawson) Tackett, 91, of Caryville died November 21st, 2002 at the Life Care Center of Morgan County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Tackett.
Mrs. Tackett is survived by her sons, Vernon Tackett, Clinton, Norman Tackett, LaFollette; daughters, Veltina Phillips, Wanda Bullock both of Caryville, Rubie Tinch and Betty Young both of Sunbright, Henrietta Bullock, Halls; 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Jeffers, Kentucky, Rosella Marlow and Christine Marlow both of Georgia.
Funeral services were November 24th at Beech Fork Baptist Church with Reverend Lee Phillips officiating.
Interment was in Beech Fork Cemetery.

Marjorie Thompson
Marjorie Thompson, 74, of LaFollette died November 22nd, 2002 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Hannah Douglas Phillips; brother, Matthew Phillips; sister Joline Phillips.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Willie Thompson; son, Joey Longmire, Knoxville; four grandchildren.
Memorial services were November 24th in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Reverend Mike Smith officiating.

Mark Edward Tidwell
Mark Edward Tidwell, 22, of LaFollette died November 21st, 2002 in Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Arlie Tackett and Charlie Tidwell.
Mr. Tidwell is survived by his parents, Saundra K. Housley, Jacksboro and Edward V. Tidwell, Knoxville; sister, Melissa Tidwell, Knoxville; grandmothers, Blanche Tackett and Vivian Tidwell; great grandmother, Ollie Green.
A private service was held November 22nd in Knoxville.
A memorial service is scheduled for November 30th, 2002.
Dorothy Vaughn Walls
Dorothy Vaughn Walls, 86, Clinton died November 19th, 2002 at NHC Health Care in Oak Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Walls, Elmer Sharp and Bowman Tomilson; sisters, Ruby Toothman and Delites Lambdin.
Mrs. Walls is survived by her son, William Walls, Texas; daughter, Lorella Beganie. Clinton; four grandchildren; brothers, Garland Vaughn, Talahoma. Tenn., Ray Vaughn, Fl., Larry Vaughn, La.; sister, Mary Bryant, Ohio.
Funeral services were November 21st at Cross Funeral Home with Michael Duncan officiating.
Interment was in Campbell Memorial Gardens.

Weltha Williams, 80, of Jellico died November 22nd at the Jellico Community Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Williams; brothers, Ordell and Norman Powers and sister. Rita Farley.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her sons, Dan H. Neace, Jellico and Albert Neace, Ohio; daughters, Nettie Nelson and Mary V. Neace both of Ohio; brother, Robert Powers, Il.; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
