Thomas Edison Garner, 76, of Knoxville, died on Sept. 26, 2001 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was an U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and retired from General Motors.
He is survived by wife Lillie C. Garner; daughter LaVonia of Pelkie, Mich., Linda Faye of Lakeridge, Va., Barbara Jane of Knoxville and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sept. 29 at the Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Tom King officiating.

Angelina Halburnt
Angelina Halburnt, 81, of Ohio, died on Sept. 27, 2001 at Daysprings Nursing Home of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by husband Dan T. Halburnt; sisters Margaret Chadwell and Matilda Cantrell; brothers Joe Albertini, Charlie Alberini, Johnny Albertini, Pete Albertini, Tony Albertini, Frank Albertini; parents Albert Albertini and Minnie Elliott.
She is survived by Albert Halburnt of Dayton, Ohio, John S. Halburnt of Fayetteville, Dan T. Halburnt Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, and seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at Roach Chapel with Rev. Donald Lay officiating. Interment
was in the Campbell County Memorial Gardens.

Brenda Kay Hatmaker
Brenda Kay Hatmaker, 50, of Lake City, died on Sept. 28, 2001 at her residence. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for Dr. Hall in the LaFollette and Lake City Hospital. She was a member of Tennessee Hollow Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by son John Ashley McKamey; father Rev. Arlie Issac Ford; sister Pat Perkins; brothers Billy Paul "Rody" Ford and Michael Ray Ford.
She is survived by husband Walter "Buck" Hatmaker Sr. of Lake City; daughter Julie Ann Hatmaker of Lake City; sons Rev. Jason McKamey of Lake City and Thomas Hatmaker of LaFollette; mother Christine Smith Wilson of Anderson, Ind.; sisters Linda Hatmaker of Lake City, Kim Dove of Anderson, Ind.; brothers Jerry Ford of Sunbright, Bo Ford of Clinton, Carl Wilson of Panama City, Fla., and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were at the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hawkins and Rev. Troy Harmon officiating. Interment
was in Graves Gap Church Cemetery in Briceville.

Hazel King, 85, of White Oak, died on Sept. 29, 2001 at the Jellico Community Hospital.
She was a member of the White Oak Church of God.
She was preceded in death by husband Clarence H. King; brothers Floyd and Clyde Byrd.
She is survived by son Verlin King of White Oak; daughters Bobbie Orick of LaFollette, Marie Lively of Petersburg, Va., brother Johnny Byrd of White Oak and 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 2 at the White Oak Church of God with Rev. Paul Cox officiating.
Interment was in the Odd Fellow Cemetery.

Neoma Rebeca White Miller
Neoma Rebeca White Miller, 95, of LaFollette, died on Sept. 30, 2001, at St. Mary’s of Campbell County.
She was a member of Davis Chapel Community Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband Ike Miller; parents Lewis and Lou White; sisters Belle Giles, Ruby Heatherly, Wanda White; brothers Leonard White, Verlin White, Manny White, William White, Howard White, Jack White. and six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Oct. 3 at the Roach Chapel with Rev. Leroy and Braden and Theomore Cox officiating.
Interment was in the Baker Forge Cemetery.

Billie G. Moore, 63, of Lake City, died on Sept. 29, 2001 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Minnie Dabney Wills; brothers Tommy Wills and Roy Wills; sister Jeanett Wills, and son Tim Moore.
She is survived by son Greg Moore of Briceville; daughters Patty Humphrey of Lake City and Regina Gallaher of Lake City; brothers James Wills of Beech Grove, Bobby Wills of Columbus, Ohio, Jack Wills of West Palm Beach Fla., David Wills of Clinton, Ernest "Buck" Wills of Lake City; sisters Betty Brown of Lake City, Judy Lively of Hilliard, Ohio. and Mary Lou Austin of Daytona Beach, Fla. and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Oct. 2 at the Beech Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hawkins and Mike "Stump" Smith officiating.
Interment was in the Beech Grove Cemetery.

David Edward Morgan, 79, of Tazewell, died on Sept. 25, 2001.
He was a WWII Veteran and A member of Carpenters Union Local#50 and a Full Gospel Faith member of the Stooksbury Masonic Lodge#602, F & A.M.
He is survived by son David Edward Morgan Jr. of Vernon, Ky.; daughters Beverly Sharon (Sherry) Griffin of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Rita Hayes of Broadhead, Ky.; sisters Gladys Osborne, Taylor Mill, Ruth Brossart of Bradenton, Fla., and Dorothy Dishon of Taylor Mill.
Funeral services were held on Friday at Walters Chapel with Rev. Bronell Fultz officiating.
Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
