She was preceded in death by parents William McKinley and Irona Phillips Adkins; brother Doug Adkins and sister Margaret Phillips.
She was survived by daughters Sandy Sherwood of Clinton Tenn., Paulette Miller of Fairfield Oh.; son Billy Sampieri; brother Charles Adkins of Clinton Tenn.; sister Mary Phillips of Clinton several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Aug 3, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. Luke Kidwell officiating. I interment
was Saturday at Phillips Cemetery in New River. First Baptist Church of Jacksboro with Rev. Charles Parker officiating.

Catherine Brown Baker
Catherine Brown Baker, 89, Jellico, died on Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at the family residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents Charles Porter Brown and Katie Mcintyre Brown.
She is survived by daughter Kay Elikin of Rogerville Tenn., sons Walter Baker Jr. of Centerville, Ohio; Joe Baker of Knoxville and Randy Baker of Athens, Tenn., and six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 1, at the Cox and Son Chapel with Rev. Michael Blankenship officiating. Interment
in the Jellico Cemetery.

Bobby Bowman
Bobby Bowman, 69, of Murrayville, died on Sept. 28, 2001. He was a deacon of Murrayville Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by parents Frank and Birdie Bowman; brother Evert Bowman; sister Willene McGhee.
He is survived by wife Mattie Bowman; sons Michael Bowman, Allen Bowman, Wendell Bowman; daughters Pam Hembree, Tracey Crabtree and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Oct. 1 at Murrayville Baptist Church with Rev. Virgil Farmer and Rev. Herman Nelson officiating. Interment
at the Murrayville Church Cemetery.

Bonnie Wilson-Burnette, 69, of LaFollette, died on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2001, at the St. Mary Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of the Indian Mound Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Wilson; son Roger Wilson; daughters Judy Russell; parents Ed and Ida Rutherford Goins; brothers Troy, Ray, and Harold Goins.
She is survived by husband, Verlin Burnette of LaFollette; son Bill Wilson of Jacksobor; daughters Patty McComick of Fla., Tammy Treadway of LaFollette; daughters Barbara Acuff of Halls, Debbie Byrd of Jacksboro, Linda Nelson of LaFollette and 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Floyd, Junior, and Paul Goins, Leon, and Tilman Goins, all of LaFollette; sisters Mary Kimberlin and Pansy Hensley, both of LaFollette.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 29 at the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Wilson and Rev. Glen McNeely officiating. Interment
was in the Cumberland View Cemetery.

Edna Elizabeth (Lasley) Eastwood
Edna Elizabeth (Lasley) Eastwood, 81, of Fairfield Glade, formerly of Jacksboro, died on Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at the South Cumberland Hospital of Crossville. She was a member of the Jacksboro First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband Edwin Eastwood Sr.
She is survived by son Edwin R. Eastwood Jr. of Kingston, Tenn., Kenneth Eastwood of Hurricane, W. Va., daughter Bobbie J. Heineman of Fairfield Glade, Tenn., sister Myrl Wilson of Jacksboro and eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Oct. 1 at First Baptist Church of Jacksboro with Dr. Charles Parker officiating. Interment
was in the Campbell County Memorial Gardens.

She was preceded in death by ex-husband, Owen L. Elikns; parents Jimmy and Hazel Bearden Jones; sister Betty Richardson; brother Bill Jones.
She is survived by son Jimmy Elkins of Jacksboro; brother J. D. Jones of Jacksboro; sister Asazlee Bhend and one grandson.

was Sunday, Sept. 30 in the Jacksboro Cemetery.

Kathy Fogelsanger, 43, of LaFollette, died on Oct. 1, 2001 at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of House of Prayer and Praise.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carden and Mildred Riggs and sister, Chestine Mills.
She is survived by husband, Alan Fogelsanger; son Shawn Fogelsanger; sister Lynn Gross; brothers Jimmy Riggs and Sterling Marlar, all of LaFollette.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Walters Chapel with Rev. Mike Franklin and Rev. Charles Lovely officiating.
